My experience with Douglas Collision Center was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about workmanship, honesty, and customer treatment. I brought my daughter's vehicle in after a rear-end accident. When I returned for the first pickup on November 12th, I discovered new damage on the car that was not present at drop-off, which I documented with timestamped photos. When I pointed this out, the manager (Tim) initially denied it until the photos were shown. During that same first pickup, I identified multiple paint defects on the bumper. Instead of addressing them, Tim became combative and stated that I was the one who had damaged the bumper--something that was not true and did not match the condition of the car shown in my photos from drop-off. This was extremely concerning and added to the growing trust issues I was experiencing. I later withdrew repair authorization due to the new damage and the accusation, but the shop continued working on the vehicle anyway. During the second pickup attempt, the situation escalated. My daughter and wife were inspecting the car when additional issues were found, including paint defects, misalignment, and a missing underbody cover plate that had not been reinstalled. Despite these issues, we were told to take the car as-is. A staff member then made a false accusation that my minor daughter had chipped paint from the bumper--something disproven by timestamped photos and video taken before the vehicle was touched. The interaction also included hostile comments, which were captured on video. The next day, we took the vehicle to Maurice's Auto Body, who documented and confirmed every defect, including the missing underbody panel and the new damage created at Douglas. They completed the repairs properly, and Douglas ultimately paid them for part of the corrective work. My experience reflected: * new damage created during the repair process, * refusal to correct visible defects, * an accusation that I damaged the bumper during the first pickup, * unauthorized continuation of repairs after I withdrew approval, * false accusations toward both me and my daughter, * and unprofessional, hostile conduct. Based on what we documented and what an independent shop confirmed, I cannot recommend Douglas Collision Center. read more

These folks were incredible. They were so encouraging when I called for an appointment and upon my arrival, they seemed to remember our conversation. They, instead of providing an estimate, fixed my car and provided no request for reimbursement. I fully realize they can't do that for everyone in every situation but they won't be forgotten by me! Great customer service, rare great. I would have to start with integrity, on yelp it said if you check in, they had an offer, for their benefit I will not share the offer as they were un aware the company or person charged with the social media had posted the offer and for my Mercedes the offer for them was expense BUT they honored it! Secondly I worked with Todd, this guy was on point from day one, explaining, the process, setting the expectations, constant communication via my preferred devices, very responsive and last but not least seemed genuine! Because of the customer service I was rendered from an accident which i was referred here via Geico, I now will be returning for other regular services as my alternative to Mercedes Benz service department- and I rarely ever consider going outside of MB servicing my car but Douglas is my exception. This is the worst "service" experience I have ever had in my life. Took my car in after it sustained damage. I went through insurance and had a rental. I was originally given a time frame of two weeks. Two months later and a whole bunch of excuses, I got my car back. My rental term ran out after one month and I had to borrow a car. After I got the excuses of weather, parts, labor, etc, I got my car back. I was driving home, looked out of the passenger window to cross the road, and they had messed up my tint. I immediately called Danny (the employee that I dealt with) and he told me to bring it back after the weekend to look at it. I took it back and he blamed wear and tear. So the two years I had my car, the tint was perfect and I take it to them and get it back and the tint had worn out? There were pictures taken with no previous damage. Looks like someone just left my car directly in the heat. There is no accountability with this place. Forget getting help from Geico too....I will never go back here and strongly caution anyone I know from using this place too. read more

Marilyn Lester Went to Dodge Collision Center to get my car repaired after I had an accident. These people are just awesome. They took the car in and had it back to me at the time promised. They even gave me a ride home after I left the car and came to my home and picked me up when it was finished. When I get the car back it was clean as a whistle and looked like a brand new car. Bad customer service. Got a repair quote from Heidi on May 19th. The insurance company had some follow-up questions on the quote. I emailed and called Hedi on multiple occasions so I can get the repair approve by my insurance company. She never responded so I took my business elsewhere. read more

Went there for a stud install on my wheel that broke off . Last minute Walkin repair . The waiting area was nice and free bottled water . Thought was gonna be there for awhile . Before I can charge my phone and sit down it was done in was done in 15 minutes. Wow ! John and his fellow service advisors were great . My husband backed into my car with his truck. He did a couple thousand dollars worth of damage. I had no idea who to brig my car to so I looked on yelp and found several collision centers. I started reading the reviews as to what others thought of these body shops. I decided to go to Douglas Collision Center. They were fantastic and professional. I picked up my car today and you can't even tell it was hit. They did an amazing job. They ordered the parts, called me when they received them so they could start working on it. When I got there they told me it would take a week to a week and a half. They even gave me a ride home. If my car was ever in an accident again and need to be fixed I would go back to them and I would recommend my friends to go to them as well. read more

I had my 2500HD GMC Repaired here after Irma came through. The Axle was bent and I had extensive damage to the Right Rear Door, and Right Bedside. They did an amazing Job, getting the orange peel perfect. This was no small feet due to the grain difference on the clear coat near the bottom of this panel. Todd Douglas is a miracle worker! I was side swiped in my 2016 Buick Regal. He replaced the front panel, repainted the doors on the passenger side so you can not see any signs of damage. Did an alignment from the accident and detailed the car. This is our 3rd time with Douglas and we would NEVER let anyone else work on our vehicles. He said 5 days and it was 4. Over priced on work not needed. I took my daughter's car in to get checked out because it was needing something done with the brakes. They called me and told me that it is going to need front calipers because of uneven wear, and with that new pads and new hoses. There was a leak supposedly in the back left cylinder which also needed to be replaced as well as the right side because they don't do just one side. They also said that the master cylinder was bad, of which they have no way of knowing until the back break leak was fixed. So all this was going to cost over $1500. We have been going to Douglas for years, have spent over $7000 there and lately they have been going way downhill. I picked up the key earlier today and when my husband went to go get the car, the lights were left on so the battery was dead, when he checked the battery the one terminal had been tampered with and the whole post was twisted off and broke loose. This was in perfect shape when we left it there. We will NEVER go there again and we may even press charges. My daughter is now out $140 for a new battery. Horrible, brought my car in from a minor accident supposed to be a 4 day job. every day another "new" issue. 11 days later I am given my car back with no power steering, told the dealer will fix it, is a recall. car also has poorly fit panels across the front end. On the way to the dealer I find the engine now has a dead miss in the engine and a shake in the front end that were not there before coming to Douglas. GM Dealer fixes power steering under a warranty (I've been with them for years) but tells me the steering electronics were fried by improperly jump starting the car !!!. I take the car back to Douglass and speak to the manager Jason, he say he will look into the other issues, calls me back the next day and tells me the engine miss is a bad coil/poor maintenance (they are a few months old!), the body panels don't fit because the headlights I provided (OEM) are bad and don't fit and he tells me the shake in the front end is because my tires are "CRAP", also says they "never" jump start cars ever. I ask again for him to fix this because none of this was an issue before I brought it in. Jason tells me he is done with my car and if I don't get it he will start charging storage. read more
