I am 76 years old. I had a turkey neck, marionette lines, deep nasal labial folds, bags under my eyes, and earlobes that drooped.. Dr. Sidle did a face lift on me that covered all those areas and made me look at least 20 years younger. The process was smooth. Dr. SIdle took the time to explain and inform me what he could and could not accomplish. He set very realistic expectations. He informed me of what the possible adverse consequences could be including facial nerve damage, which did NOT happen. I expected to look bruised for a few weeks after the procedure, and even that wasn't as bad as I expected. But he made sure I knew and agreed to it. I know medicine is an art as well as a science, and that you have to be in the hands of a good artist to expect great outcomes. That is who Dr. SIdle is. He also has a Certified Physicians Assistant, Erin Hoke, who is very efficient. She is the one who sent me a detailed email reviewing the surgery in advance along with all of the potential complications, and what to expect after the surgery. In the first days after the procedure, she was the one whom I saw twice for suture removal and she spent considerable time with me answering all questions and giving advice on how to best care for my skin. I saw Dr. Sidle after two weeks, and he too was very happy with my result. It is now 5 weeks since my procedure. I couldn't be more pleased witih my results. I still have areas of numbness, which I was told about in advance, and that the feeling will return over time. All the suture lines are virtually invisible. I know I am still healing and expect the results to continue to improve, but frankly I am already thrilled with the results. And what really is great is that people I know don't realize what I did. I got a new haircut right after the procedure (I highly recommend this) and everyone says how great I look and they love my new hair style. read more

I don't know where to begin when trying to explain how AMAZING Dr. Sidle is. It started a few years ago when I saw him on TV. He was a special guest on a talk show discussing his Botox techniques. I was impressed, so I called to book an appointment for Botox, Rhinoplasty, chin implant and neck liposuction. Dr. Sidle and Awesome Erin walked me through the procedures using state of the art technology. I had the procedures. There was little to no pain throughout the entire procedure and post procedure. Thanks to the Dr. and Erin for explaining exactly what I needed to do to assure proper healing and being extra gentle when removing the bandages and dressing. Several weeks after the surgery, I was very impressed with the results of the Botox, chin implant, and neck lipo (I actually now have a defined jawline and projected chin!). However, I was not completely satisfied with the Rhinoplasty. It seemed like my nose was now larger and the tip was drooping. I decided to leave it be for a couple years. As time went by, I was still unhappy with the Rhinoplasty. I decided to call and book a possible revision surgery to raise the tip and enhance the contouring. I met with Dr. Sidle and Erin virtually and they noted my concerns. He agreed with my request of a revision surgery and since he guarantees his work, he did it at no charge!! I couldn't believe it! Since Dr. Sidle also has amazing skills at Botox and fillers, I decided to get a round of that as well. Dr. Sidle fixed my nose after Mos surgery to remove basal cell carcinoma. It was a large area on my nose which required 72 Stitches. 50 under the surface and 22 on the surface. I may notice the scar. No one else does. He did an excellent t job. I highly recommend him. read more

Dr. Sidle is an absolutely amazing surgeon. I saw him after 2 previous consults with other surgeons. While I know it may be excessive to see that many surgeons, I don't think you can ever be too careful with a facial surgery. Immediately when he checked my nose, he noticed I had a small ulcer on my septum that was previously not mentioned by two other doctors. I had been applying ointment with Qtips and was actually making it entirely worse. Add in all my steroid nose sprays and I was headed for disaster-ville. He was able to put a little camera in my nose and give me a great course of treatment. My nose was better within weeks. On top of everything, I fainted when he put the scope in my nose (I know, I'm an amazing patient!) Apparently this can happen, but he stayed with me the entire time and was so kind and caring. He has a conservative approach that I'm sure will yield natural, amazing results. Once I am fully healed, I plan to have surgery with him. I really hope Dr. Sidle reads this because he completely changed my whole outlook on how amazing doctors can be. In late 2013 I was diagnosed with squamous cell skin cancer on my nose. The Mohs procedure left me looking really beaten up and had me worried that my face would never be the same. Dr. Sidle's office is amazing because he leaves spots open in his calendar for same-day surgery for those who have had Mohs, and he was able to schedule me in merely an hour after Mohs was complete. From the moment Dr. Sidle walked into the door and saw me, he was absolutely lovely. His dry sense of humour had me cracking up, and he was determined to get my nose looking normal again, but it was the way he approached my fears and tears with compassion and the way he walked me through my options and helped me choose what would be best for my long-term recovery. He talked with me during my surgery, telling me about himself and answering my personal questions with humour and detail. He wasn't just a robot doctor - he connected with me as a person, AND the man is a freaking facial artist. Every concern I had in the weeks after the surgery, I sent him pictures and he would ring me back personally to talk me through my fears. When I opted to have fat deposits inserted to fill the gap that was left in my nose from surgery, and dermabrasion to smooth out the scars, Dr. Sidle scheduled me in immediately, walked me through everything, showed me before and after pictures, and told me what to expect. It's been a year and a half since my original surgery, and although I have some scars, they are barely noticeable. I might visit him again now that the healing is over just to give him a hug. I had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Sidle and I couldn't be happier that I picked him and his team for my surgery. I had a nose job done elsewhere in Chicago with a very upsetting outcome that affected me mentally, physically, and emotionally. Great doctor with an unbelievable hand for his work. My mom went to Dr. Sidle after surgery on her cheek for skin cancer. She walked in with a gaping hole the size of a silver dollar and walked out with a very small scar. I witness the before and after, and was incredibly impressed. Five stars are not enough! Several years ago (5 or 6 or 7), Dr Sidle performed numerous procedures on my face--facelift, eye lift, chemical peel, chin implant, liposuction on my neck. I was on the operating table well over five hours. Since the first operation, Dr. Sidle has administered various fillers and Botox occasionally. To this day, I am still thrilled with his work. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about him and his practice. As a surgeon, Dr. Sidle is an artist. The work he has done for me always looks completely natural. I took my "before and after" photos to my primary doctor. He was astonished, describing Dr. Sidle's work as "really remarkable." The nurse wanted his name. Sure it's nice when my friends tell me I look terrific, but when another doctor and his staff are impressed, it really means something. Dr. Sidle is an absolute perfectionist and wants to make sure the patient is completely satisfied. At least that was my experience. He readily agreed to do a couple of minor touch ups (way, way too minor to qualify as revisions) when I asked. My concerns were so trivial it was almost embarrassing to bring them to his attention. But I did and he took care of them without making me feel like I was being unreasonable. He is just a super nice guy. His assistant, Erin Hoke, is the nicest, most caring, yet utterly professional and efficient assistant imaginable. She is very knowledgeable, answers all of my crazy questions, and provides all sorts of helpful information. The whole team almost makes scalpels and needles fun. I live in Florida most of the year now. And I know every Tom, Dick, and Harry is administering Botox and fillers these days. Did not have a glowing experience. Dr. Sidle attempted to do a cancer reconstruction and it did not turn out well at all. Dr. Sidle should have turned down the work b/c I am young and attractive. I wish he had sent me to another Doctor that has more experience with the procedure. I would not go back ever (not even for free) and needed to go elsewhere to fix the work that Sidle did. I am out of thousands of dollars, 6 months of time, total disappointment and have scars. Still am not finished getting fixed as it is a process for the new Doctor to try to fix the poor- average repair that Dr. Sidle did. I tried Botox for the first time with Dr. Sidle last May. It was scary to try this, but Dr. Sidle made it as pleasant an experience as sticking needles in your face can be. He was very thorough to explain how it worked and what all the side effects or possible outcomes could be. I was very pleased with the outcome, having hated the frown line that has been with me for 20 years or so. And within a few days it was virtually gone. I have since gone for 2 other Botox treatments with the same great experience. If you are nervous about having Botox, Dr. Sidle would be a great person to start with. He's patient with needle and pain phobic folks like me. He seems to make sure that you are ready and have the right expectations. I also was worried about how noticeable it would be when I left. But after a few minutes and by the time I paid and was in my car, you would only notice if I pointed it out. I was referred to Dr. Sidle by my primary care doctor when I inquired about a top plastic surgeon for a rhinoplasty in Chicago. I had the surgery over the week of Thanksgiving 2011. I was not disappointed! Dr. Sidle and his staff are very professional. They were able to take a picture and use software to show me what the results would look like and the results are amazing!! I still look like myself to others but the changes are very noticeable to me. I had bone spurs on the bridge of my nose removed, my nose straightened and a chin implant. I love my profile now and had hated it my whole life. The surgery was so easy as well. I only took one or two pain killers and was fine on Tylenol the rest of the time. I had very minimal swelling and bruising and 4 days after surgery I was out and about enjoying the city again. My mom complimented Dr. Sidle's bedside manner when talking to her about how the procedure went. I referred a girlfriend to Dr. Sidle about a month later and she was also very happy with her results.
