I am so heartbroken and disappointed from the rhinoplasty and revision performed by Steve Dayan after the rhinoplasty he did a "free revision deal" which did nothing to improve the problem with my nose. I payed him almost $20,000 last year for a rhinoplasty and my nose is crooked and lumpy. This man has made me feel so uncared for...he truly couldn't care less about his patients. It's unbelievable how many people have the same story and horrible experience after being treated by this man. Do your research on this person before letting him treat you. I had rhinoplasty/septoplasty in October 2010. I requested for my nasal tip to be reduced and the nostril width to be taken in. I received a misshapen mess. It's crooked, twice the size and he didn't even attempt to reduce the nostril width. When I went in for follow ups, he made excuses and said I had thick skin which isn't true and he made me feel bad about an acne breakout and suggested I get a facial. Awful experience. Had a very bizarre experience with Dr Dayan. Went in for filler and was given a quote for 5k. Then he said "well you may qualify for our study". Minutes later the price was knocked in half by another intern. All I had to do was take a few pics. I was also promised a $500 check in the mail. Dayan did a nice job with Botox and filler. When I checked out the girl did not take off the $250 appointment deposit off the bill. She then said she didn't think she could give a credit.. but would ask her manager and get back to me. Last year, with a great deal of courage and anxiety over my botched Dayan nose, I reluctantly agreed to travel to Italy for vacation. You'll note in the photo, how bad my nose actually is. I would now LOVE to get a revision, but 1. Dr Dayan said he would actually only add another graft to my already clearly overgrafted nose and would not correct anything else because he said he wasn't sure the blood supply was ample enough to heal (he just actually didn't want to re-open and redo anything, as--per the time and energy it would take--it wouldn't be financially advantageous for him to correct it). PLEASE: Check further before you let this man touch your face. He made a mess of my neck and my ear. He is very full of his own capabilities charging me $10,000 for my "mini-face lift". However, I saw very minimal change in my appearance and my right ear is now dimpled (it was fine when I went in). He agreed to "fix" everything but said he'd have to do the entire surgery over again. What?? He said there would be no charge to fix his blunders but when I received his quote there was a $3000 anesthetic fee. When I objected, they oh so graciously offered me a place to go for a loan. I can only speak about the rhinoplasty surgery I had done back in 2009 with Dr Dyan. I thought I did my research and felt comfortable with Dr Dyan. I wanted to remove a hump on my nose. He said he could do that and fix my tip. When all was said and done. I can feel an indentation where my jump was, my nose is crooked and pinched on one side. I will post a picture so you can see the results. I didn't want to go back to him because I don't trust his work. Looking back I wish I would have gone more consultations. I've been getting injections at Dr. Dayans office for about 5 years. I haven't always been consistent but having turned 37 recently I decided last year to be better about my upkeep. I'm a licensed Esthetician and am aware of how skin ages (it just does). I've been consistent the past year and absolutely love my results. I'm lucky, I have a combination of great genes and knowledge of skin care/maintenance so I do look younger than my age. I actually don't get Botox to look youthful, along with my blessings, I've been cursed with a brow furrow which makes me look perpetually angry. 5 years ago when I got my first injection, Michelle did my injections. She is incredibly sweet and has great bedside manner. She is also very skilled at her work. She even did a friends lip injections and they looked completely natural and gorgeous. After bouncing between Dysport and Botox I convinced myself that neither lasted long enough for me (I suggest trying both to see which works best for you) one of the nurses explained it's like Coke or Pepsi, everyone has their own opinion. I prefer Dysport. I would begin to see movement within 1-2 months and so I just stopped and lived with my arch enemy "the furrow". After doing some research I came to learn that if you are consistent with treatments, the effects will last longer because the muscles will begin to atrophy or just get lazy. A friend notified me of a sunscreen/Botox study which was offered at a discounted price so I applied and was accepted to the study. This was the first time I met Selika at Dr. Dayans office and let me tell you she is my girl! I told her it had been several years since I had been in and explained it was because the results tend to not last. We both agreed that I need to me more consistent. Now that I have been consistent every 4 months (for 12 months now), I have noticed that the results are longer lasting and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend both Michelle and Selika. Since I've been consistent and stayed with Selika, we have finally found the "Goldilocks" treatment for me. Dr. Dayans office always schedules a 2 week follow up which includes touch ups. I used to require maybe 4 more injections but these follow up injections have decreased over the past year since Selika knows the muscles in my face now. It needs to be noted that everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and professional. I love coming in and chatting with everyone. It's obvious that employees here are treated well and have been trained by the absolute best. read more

I saw Dr Dayan for more than 10 years and found him to have a creative eye as an artist would have, when looking at procedures that would truly benefit his patient. I went to Dr. Dayan's office for laser hair removal. It was my first time going to a med spa. Upon entering the office I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and given papers to fill out. I was offered water or coffee as well. When I was called for my appointment I was very comfortable with the two women in the room handling my appointment. First let me start off by saying I am completely neurotic when it comes to anything about style/looks. (I swear I'm not coincided) but as a girl, one bad haircut or one bad color and you start to become a little apprehensive about anyone touching you. Needless to say, I have always wondered about lip filler. I have a very small upper lip but my bottom lip was a lot bigger so it was very disproportionate. I was always self conscious when I would wear any type of color on my lips, so I decided to book a consultation with Michelle at the office. 1. She was the sweetest person I have ever met, she made me feel SO comfortable 2. She explained everything in full detail of what she was thinking and how she would go about doing it 3. I voiced my concerns about getting duck lips, or over filling them and she assured me she would never do that, and I felt confident in her 4. I am a huge baby when it comes to pain and she made me feel extremely comfortable, her assistant, Megan, put numbing cream on me & Michelle gave me a nerve block (and even used a distracting tool while giving the nerve block!) 5. She told me to come back in two weeks so we could go over the final result to make sure I was happy and see if I needed more filler For something so scary (your lips are a major part of your face!) she made me feel so comfortable! I love that they wanted me to come back in two weeks just to be sure I was happy. My lips look AMAZING!! I could not be happier! She said "no, omg, there are a lot of fake reviews on Yelp, that's why we hate Yelp, it's not accurate, we never send our Yelp page out" Seemed fishy but ok. I was already there. Low and behold - everyone here was right! This place is awful. All they want is money. They won't stop calling/emailing me. They will recommend as many procedures as possible for money. I went to Dr. Dayan for rhinoplasty, he gave me the old car salesman pitch but he seemed so genuine and honest that I fell for it. I was very sick when I woke up from surgery and I CANNOT BREATHE out of my nose. This was my number one concern that I voiced over and over again. The surgicenter he uses is EXTREMELY UNETHICAL. Once he received the money and finished with the procedure he seemed to care very little about my concerns and every time he told me to just wait a little longer. In 2001 he tried a new laser he had rented complaining of costs (so was experimenting on me) for under eye bleohoplasty that took all cheekbone fat/mucsle and left black deep hollows because he didn't know how to work it for my cost: $7,000.00. So I have had two fat fransfers and innumerable fillers to hide mess he made of my face I will have to the grave; so look older than my years. I cannot stress this: he is a disaster/ BEWARE/ DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They would not help me when I complained. He is a narcsissitic jerk with attitude; do you seriously want a huge a-hole out for your money with knives and an ego trip? I had my first treatment with requesting Michelle but she was unavailable. I felt like the consultation and appointment was uncomfortable for me. I had my first treatment and had a large bump from the injections. I have found that can happen but was disappointed. I scheduled another appointment 9 months later and was notified 1 hr before that they needed to cancel. I have a 4.5 and a 1.5yr old and had paid for a nanny and parking already! I don't know their cancellation policy and was a bit frustrated with theirs. No follow up call. No apology. I think they don't really get customer service nor care. I want more from a place. first of all i am bald, and i have a "dent" like scar on the center of my head, everyone can see. i am not self conscious about it. i have had it for years. i went to michelle who is called the "injection specialist" to have a juvederm treatment for my scar. juvederm plumps up my skin and the dented scar vanishes. i came to the office then was sent to wait in a back room. i stayed there 30 minutes until i opened the door for them to say oh i forgot about you. michelle came in and i told her i have a scar that i get treatments for with juvederm to eliminate appearance. what happened next was amazing. she started talking to me like i was imagining i had a scar or that i was just self conscious and i should get over it. i was like what? i know i have a scar i am not self conscious about it i know it exists. it goes away with treatment, i'm fine. i'm like wait you're a "specialist" and you can't see this indentation down the center of my head? ( i said that internally) she is like you look good you shouldn't worry about it, like i was "worried" or self conscious about my appearance. uhh i know what it looks like i don't feel bad about i just need the filler like i have been getting for years now and i'm off. she went on saying there are other treatments for this like lasers... i was like wait i have had this for years i don't care to get any treatment for it other then my filler. it's going to be like this forever and filler is the only thing that can make it look better and i'm, ok with it. i told you from the beginning what i wanted, i am familiar with my condition as a matter of fact you have seen me before and gave me juvederm injections. i couldn't believe it, she was talking to me like i was this tragic person in denial about a figment of my imagination. are you serious? you are a grown adult i just spoke to you simply and clearly, a child could understand, and you were talking to me condescendingly and undermining. ha ha. whoever called michelle whitehall an "injection specialist" was not qualified to give her that distinction. it seams to me like she is a person who a few years ago was looking for a job and said oh, botox injections, i can do that. went and got a few lessons and this dr dayan wanted a girl to attract more customers and hired her. and because she is a girl and this is chicago they immediately over rated her to specialist just because she can walk and chew gum at the same time. (personally i don't think she can do it) she is as much a specialist in medical procedures or determining a patients condition in as much as i am a specialist in building a rocketship just because i seen star wars. but yes the force is with me and i can build a rocketship. what a waste of time. i know people will go there in spite of this review. she will probably make more undeserved money and get more undeserved accolades, i don't care. i know what she really is because i was there and that's all that matters. one star only because yelp doesn't have zero stars. peace out tg get your stuff else where good luck. read more

Dr. Dayan is truly an artist. The work you request he customizes to what will fit you naturally. I have gone in for a touch up before and he had said "no" because it would look unnatural. He is honest, kind, and very gentle which makes it great if you're getting a quick touch up and you can walk out of the office with little to no marks on your face and continue with your day.
