Cassandra went beyond our expectations. She was able to prepare us and provide a lot of knowledge and support prior to labor. She taught us a lot of techniques we could use before, during, and after labor. She listened to me and my partner, which was another important thing for us. As for the most part, my birthing plan did not go as I had planned. I ended up having preeclampsia and got induced 3 weeks early. I couldn't have done it without Cassandra and my partner, though. Cassandra made sure I was comfortable; she brought snacks, tea, games, a tablet to watch movies, and even went out to go get me a slushie I was craving so badly. She brought all of her tools as well. She also took pictures that we will forever cherish. Her support and knowledge were everything we needed and more. I honestly could not have done it without her; she was absolutely amazing! She also kept my placenta and made tablets for me. She was also going to make a keepsake out of the cord and make it into a heart, but was unable to since my cord was so short. Cassandra has stayed in touch with us and provided a ton of resources for me, which has been so helpful. If you are looking for someone to listen to you, provide knowledge, support you, and go beyond for you, Cassandra is the perfect doula for you.

Colleen is a truly a genius when it comes to babies, lactation, family dynamics, mental health, and anything else that could possibly come up post-baby. We love that we can text her and get instant answers - Google has nothing on her! She was also an amazing health advocate for me because of her background as an RN (even joining in doc apts) as I had complex postpartum complications and our family will always be so grateful for her guidance and positivity. We also hired Colleen for her sleep specialist program/sleep training and her custom schedule, coaching, and tips made it so easy. Our son has been sleeping through the night and taking 4 naps a day since 3.5 months old. (Now he's a pretty chill baby, but Colleen is magic.) Working with her is worth every penny, whether it's for a first baby or navigating multiples. I'm writing a long review because I'm so passionate about Colleen's work and I hope others hire her to make their postpartum journeys a million times better than you can possibly imagine. Thank you, Colleen!!!!

If you're considering hiring a doula, I cannot recommend Kelsey highly enough. Even though we hired…read moreher toward the end of my third trimester, she immediately jumped in and made us feel completely supported. She went above and beyond to ensure we covered all the important educational topics before labor and delivery, and she tailored every meeting to fit our needs as first-time parents. One of the biggest reasons we hired Kelsey was for the education, and she absolutely exceeded our expectations. She spent hours with us teaching us about labor, birth, postpartum recovery, evidence-based birth practices, and all of the options we might encounter along the way. She answered every question we had and gave us the information we needed to make informed decisions that aligned with our values. I never felt pressured--only supported and empowered. Her prenatal meetings were incredibly organized. She came prepared with checklists, charts, educational materials, and a wonderful birth plan packet that made it so easy to think through our preferences. We especially appreciated all the time she spent teaching my husband practical ways to support me physically, mentally, and emotionally throughout labor. Those conversations gave both of us so much confidence going into the birth. Kelsey's communication was outstanding from start to finish. She was always incredibly responsive, checked in with us regularly (at least weekly), and sent detailed summary emails after every visit so we always knew what we had discussed and what our next steps were. During labor and delivery, she took detailed notes of everything that happened. Looking back, there are so many parts of labor that I don't remember, and having her notes has been such a meaningful gift because I can relive the experience and remember all the details. During labor and delivery, Kelsey was a calm, knowledgeable, and reassuring presence. She provided wonderful physical comfort techniques and emotional support while helping us understand what was happening throughout the process. Because of all the preparation we had done together beforehand, I felt informed, confident, and able to make decisions throughout my birth experience. Our postpartum visit was just as valuable. It gave us the opportunity to process the birth, talk through how I was doing physically, emotionally, and mentally, discuss postpartum resources, and ask all of our newborn and first-time parent questions. It was exactly the kind of support we needed during that transition. Overall, our experience with Kelsey exceeded every expectation we had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, organized, compassionate, responsive, and genuinely invested in the families she works with. From her thoughtful educational sessions and personalized resources to her detailed follow-up emails, consistent check-ins, and unwavering support during labor and postpartum, she made such a positive impact on our birth experience. We are so grateful we chose Kelsey as our doula, and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for exceptional pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support.

She provided us with invaluable support before, during, and after my birth. In short, Kelsey is an exceptional doula-don't hesitate to hire her! Before meeting Kelsey, I didn't know a lot about doulas; I just knew I wanted all the expert support I could get going through my first pregnancy and labor. My understanding of Doula meant home birth with a midwife, but I planned to give birth at TMC with my OB.  I first contacted Kelsey through her website (after thoroughly stalking her Instagram hygge.birth.services) when I was about three months pregnant; we scheduled a video call meeting to get to know her. After our initial call, Kelsey left her email and phone open for any follow-up questions we might have while deciding whether to become her client. Kelsey's service offerings are comprehensive, and we opted for her Complete Birth and Postpartum Support Package. While I was Kelsey's primary client, my husband also benefitted greatly from her support. We had a group text throughout the pregnancy to address any questions or concerns, ensuring we were both well-informed and prepared. Kelsey's support was instrumental in keeping us on the same page, especially when I went into labor and was unable to communicate as effectively.  Even if you're not interested in a doula for your entire pregnancy journey, I highly recommend taking Kelsey's Childbirth Education Course (CBE). She offers private sessions in your home. She is offering a reduced rate as she is in training, which is a fantastic deal. I wish we had started her CBE course when we were family planning; there is so much information that would've been really helpful in the early days of our pregnancy. Even starting when we did, around 6 months, there was still an abundance of information we took away from it. Taking her course would also be a great way to get to know Kelsey if you're not sure you need a Doula yet. On our second night home with our baby girl, she wouldn't stop crying, and my husband and I were at our wit's end. The "5 S's" weren't working. I sent Kelsey a frantic text at 11 p.m., and to my surprise, she quickly responded with encouragement and guidance. I'm sure that isn't always possible, but that's just one example of how Kelsey goes above and beyond to support her clients. Kelsey is also an amazing Mama. With a toddler and infant, she's in the thick of parenthood, which is just an added bonus. She is also very organized, which was helpful for my very disorganized personality. Although our formal package with Kelsey has ended, we will stay in touch. I plan to hire her for additional postpartum support visits. She's kind, caring, compassionate, and a great advocate. I'm very grateful she was a part of our birth journey.
