I don't know where to start. This place is plant lover paradise. When I first walked in I was…read moreoverwhelmed with plant joy and thought I went to plant heaven. Weather you are new to the plant world or a seasoned gardener they have something for everyone. Houseplants galore, and the prices are amazing. I have found harder to find houseplants here for amazing prices allowing me to affordably build my houseplant collection. During the summer they have every kind of outdoor plant, flowers, trees, shrubs, etc. The inside boasts rows of gorgeous plants, succulents, herbs, houseplants super large and small. They sell gardening tools, soil, fertilizer, seeds/starter kits, plant remedies, gardening decor and have a beautiful selection of pots and planters too. I have seen snake plants here over 6-7 feet tall, enormous fiddle leaf figs, anything you can imagine they probably have it at some point. One part of the greenhouse has cute rustic house decor and gifts. During the winter months they still maintain a large houseplant selection, and turn a portion of the greenhouse into a beautiful Christmas wonderland full of beautiful Christmas decor. They also sell real Christmas trees, pine wreathes and pine decor. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. At one point over the summer I think I came here once a week! I am very happy that they are open during the winter months and are following all Covid safety precautions as well. Definitely helped me cope with 2020. I can't boast about them enough! Also, I'm happy to say that every plant that I have purchased from them has done well and I have never had any issues with pests.

Beautiful selection of plants both common and not so common. Was ecstatic to come here and be able…read moreto find something Jew I hadn't seen offered anywhere else before. A great place if you want to add anything to a plant collection!

I received two separate deliveries of loam, and quickly noticed that wherever I had spread the first delivery, weeds were popping up everywhere. Nonstop. I have attempted to speak with someone, to see if their material had come from a different source, but after three unsuccessful tries, I give up. It is odd this has never occurred in my garden before; I hate to accuse without a conversation with someone, but I have not had that opportunity. So, buyer beware.

I occasionally have small projects for which I need just half a yard or less of material. Sherwood…read moreLandscape Company has been the solution! I live in Boston, but have a rental in Dover, and after searching in vain in Massachusetts for a landscaping company that will let me shovel gravel or dirt into my car to take away myself, I have come to the realization that it is worth it for me to drive to NH just for this stuff! Great example... I just got about a tenth of a yard of drainage stone, and 0.4 yards of superloam for an above ground garden. If I were to go to a box store or nursery, and get this in bags, it would cost more than $50. All the landscape companies I contacted in MA either required at least a purchase of 4 yards for delivery, or would only sell as little as half a yard, ONLY if you have a truck into which they can dump it. And even if they did let me buy it, the prices would have come to $40. I got the job done through Sherwood for $10, and with some of the friendliest folks I have had the pleasure of working with. I have gone to them several times, and am always impressed and happy that I got to work with them. My only complaint is that they don't have more varieties of rocks/pebbles. But all in all...this is a winner.

Brought our puppy here to be trained and we went with a "group class"…read more The other dog in the same exact room and area as our dog made the training impossible, because each dog was just distracted by the other one. The classes went okay at first until the end of them when the trainer said we're going to work on "socializing". The other dog was much much larger and quickly came over to ours and overpowering, literally pinning our dog to the ground. The trainer stated that our dog would "bite or bark when they don't feel safe" but instead, our little dog simply lied down and peed himself because he was so scared... This evidently caused behavioral issues with our puppy and caused him to be scared of other dogs and strangers. HIGHLY do NOT recommend bringing your dog here to be trained... Also the prices of items there are absurd

Employee was told that it would be seen as lazy and the business requires a doctor's note to permit them to work while seated. Apparently this is legal in New Hampshire, if a retail worker is hurt and asks for on the fly accommodations, their employer can require them to spend large amounts of their own money to visit a doctor and receive a note when the accommodations are needed then and there. I left promptly after hearing this interaction and will not be returning as I do not support businesses that do not support their workers. Legality and morality are not the same. Be better.
