Long story short - we had a leak from our…read moreshower, clove rep came to fix it, then after mold remediation was already done we saw that it was still leaking, clove rep came back to fix it again, then I saw that where the leak was repaired again there were complete gaps between the shower wall and wall itself (as pictured) so water would have come spilling into the walls, then they came back to fix again. The part though that really bothers me is that, after all this, they also took my baseboard from the wall. No idea what they did with it. I called asking where it was and they never called me back. I'm now having to spend more money to get a custom baseboard created to match the rest of the room. I don't enjoy not supporting local businesses, but the fact that I'm now having to spend more money because of the baseboard being taken instead of this being compensated for is the reason I'm posting this. Not okay and won't use again.

It seemed to be an issue with the main line and they spent the entire rest of the Sunday digging up the front yard area to look for the leak. On Monday, the next day, they came back with their entire team of 3-4 people who trenched the area until they located the leak. Once they identified the leak, they were able to quickly fix it and restore the landscaping to the original condition, even finding the right colour-matched mulch. The entire exercise did cost close to $6,000, and I don't know how that compares to other companies; however, it was a job well done and the problem was addressed in a timely manner.

But we overlooked these issues because he seemed to be competent and was a nice guy. But we have really regretted hiring him pretty much every day since. He put the wrong shower door in for the space, and then blamed us for not choosing a more expensive model (we chose the most expensive of the three he offered). It wobbles so much when opening or closing it, anyone would think it's broken. He tried to suggest that it just needs to "settle in." Right. That chestnut. When we confronted him about it not fitting the space (it hits the toilet, so only opens part way), he said, "I can't think of every little issue." How about any issue at all? And it's not a little issue. This is the kind of expertise you look for--that he clearly didn't have. When we told him we were going to have to have it redone, he offered no solutions to resolve the issue. All in all, a miserable experience. And that niceness sure didn't last.
