He quickly diagnosed my issue and explained everything thoroughly. While I was shocked by the price tag to snake the sink/drain line ($520), Juan's promptness, thorough work and explanation and overall professional service made it well worth it. I later validated with a plumber friend that emergency plumbing work is just expensive, so the $520 doesn't sound too outrageous. Overall - highly recommend calling Juan / Clove for any plumbing needs.

Long story short - we had a leak from our…read moreshower, clove rep came to fix it, then after mold remediation was already done we saw that it was still leaking, clove rep came back to fix it again, then I saw that where the leak was repaired again there were complete gaps between the shower wall and wall itself (as pictured) so water would have come spilling into the walls, then they came back to fix again. The part though that really bothers me is that, after all this, they also took my baseboard from the wall. No idea what they did with it. I called asking where it was and they never called me back. I'm now having to spend more money to get a custom baseboard created to match the rest of the room. I don't enjoy not supporting local businesses, but the fact that I'm now having to spend more money because of the baseboard being taken instead of this being compensated for is the reason I'm posting this. Not okay and won't use again.

It seemed to be an issue with the main line and they spent the entire rest of the Sunday digging up the front yard area to look for the leak. On Monday, the next day, they came back with their entire team of 3-4 people who trenched the area until they located the leak. Once they identified the leak, they were able to quickly fix it and restore the landscaping to the original condition, even finding the right colour-matched mulch. The entire exercise did cost close to $6,000, and I don't know how that compares to other companies; however, it was a job well done and the problem was addressed in a timely manner.

We called a few places and those places either couldn't come out, or didn't even respond to our inquiry - We are a one bathroom household! 5 Point Plumbing came out the same day at the time they said they would (no one does that anymore do they?!) They gave us an estimate, came back within an hour with everything they needed and we had our new toilet beautifully installed in under 2 hours! My garage used to be very cold before the venting and is now comfortable. My circulation pump got damaged during the work and they replaced it as part of the warranty for the job. This quality of service earned them more work from me as they later worked on clearing a clog in my shower drain. When a former employee (Manuel Aguilar) who was fired for incompetence lied about still being an employee and did another job for me, Omar provided a 2 year warranty to cover the work. Regarding the former employee, Manuel Aguilar, he is a crook! If you ever run into him pretending to be a 5 Point Plumbing employee please beware! He's incompetent - does poor plumbing work - and doesn't have the integrity to show up if there's an issue. His incompetence got him fired from 5 Point Plumbing, but he's now doing the dishonorable thing of stealing 5 Point Plumbing customers.

He was honest, fair, competent and only charged $150 even though the job required some extra work, caulking, disconnecting an inside chime box and finding the transformer box. Gustavo showed up right on time, was super professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Instead of pushing an unnecessary repair, he let us know the valve is likely faulty but not a major issue right now--and he was still able to safely hook up our new fridge without any problems. That alone saved us over $300. He also gave us helpful insight about how Hollister's water can cause wear and tear on plumbing, appliances, and fixtures, which we really appreciated. On top of all that, there was no charge for the visit. That kind of honesty and customer service is rare these days. We'll definitely be calling them back soon to install a water softener system. I had a Navien tankless water heater installed several years ago by someone else. The installer…read moredid a great job, but after about a month when there was a fault/error code and the heater stopped, he said to unplug it and plug it back in. Going forward, this happened several times so I called Navien; they recommended I get an authorized service tech out there so they could troubleshoot the issue over the phone. I called Ernie's, the closest Navien approved company. Ben came out the next day, got on the phone with Navien and ordered a new PCB under warranty. Because I took to long to address this, labor was not covered, but that's understandable. And it was very reasonable. Less than a week later I now have a fixed tankless. Ben and Ernies were incredible; they're my new go to for plumbing issues. And I'm not sure why Timmy P. left such a bad review of Ernie's. Based on what he wrote, he expected Ben and Ernie's to take a partial payment at the job site. Maybe if he had stated that when making his appt there would not have been any confusion. Payment is always due at job completion.
