While he arrived promptly, I was disappointed by the initial bid of $800. The necessary parts cost approximately $40 per toilet, and the labor should not have taken more than an hour. It appeared that unnecessary repairs were being added to the estimate, such as replacing a brand-new supply line. I had issues with my garbage disposal leaking all of a sudden late at night and although it wasn't a total emergency, Juan responded within 5 minutes. He was able to schedule an appt the very next morning, came on time, and diagnosed the issue. He had to replace the garbage disposal. He left to purchase the new one and replaced it and tested everything to ensure it worked. He even was able to clear the hose of the air gap for my dishwasher to ensure it would drain into the sink instead of draining into my counter, which has occurred twice already. I have used Juan before. Something has changed. He came out to fix a 1 foot piece pvc pipe out of my water main. I pointed it out to him (no troubleshooting required) it took him 1 hour, maybe 1.5 being generous. He said the price was $620! I thought he was joking at first.
