Well, maybe, but you only get what you pay for. 2. The staff here has been nothing but phenomenal, they have been working like crazy and I feel they are completely under-appreciated. This place has so many good reviews that are based simply on the job they do. 3. There are isolated issues, sometimes, but thats life. Things aren't always going to be perfect. Look at the big picture. But they sure as hell try to fix any issue. 4. Thank you OVR for the best thing weve ever done as a family. This will be our 2nd home for life. A really nice place for the kids as well (again minus the amenities). Everyone knows everyone so you can be pretty comfortable just letting them go enjoy themselves while you relax. Less than 10 minutes from Sea Isle City - with great summer concerts. Only 15-20 minuets (at the most) from the Ocean City boardwalk, depending on which side you want to be on.

The wrap around porch was a nice place for us to all hang out and relax at the end of the day. Our cabin was clean when we arrived. Plenty of linens, extra pillows and blankets were available to us. All staff that we came into contact with were wonderful! Pools were very nice and a great break from the sand! Pet friendly is a great plus. There were dog parks and a section of the beach just for furry friends. Office store had the basics, but grocery stores were close by. I believe you could even rent golf carts. Only 25 minutes from Wildwood beach- the best of both worlds when you want to have a relaxing camping vacation but also have a beach day at the ocean. We will definitely be back next year for more camping!!!

Lovely tall oak and pine trees around many sites, but quite a few of those tall pines are dead and look like potential widow-makers. Daily sites have concrete or asphalt pads for chairs & the picnic table. Balance of each site is pea stone. Nicely kept. They do have a very small dog park but it's mostly withered grass and dirt - our dogs came away filthy. Oh, and by the way, the note that they charge 3% on all credit card transactions is buried in the seasonal documentation so it's not obvious to daily and weekly users.

This beach is decidedly sleepier than Ocean City, Sea Isle, and many non-LBI beaches, and most of its charm is from its inherent "coziness." The lifeguards were very kind and vigilant, making sure that the no-swimming zones were properly demarcated and that we could enjoy the offings of the beach. Free street parking and some mini golf and ice cream nearby. What more can I say? :)
