I wasn't going to share my personal experiences but every time I look in the mirror, I am reminded of the very expensive mistake I made trusting Dr. Hennessy. Despite the attractive pricing, the procedure aimed at reducing neck fat, unfortunately, left me dissatisfied with both the look and feel. I won't get into the pecan-sized lump protruding from my belly. If you take anything from this review remember you are your own best advocate and don't be misled by their attempt to close a deal. After my neck surgery, I immediately had problems. Please see the photo attached. Dr Henessey was away and the situation progressively got worse. After more than a month and several trips that I had to make across town to secure pre-op garments that didn't work, Dr Hennessey suggested prescribing an asthma med whose primary side effect was mental illness. It got worse, I had to cancel my vacation and couldn't recoup my investment. The icing on the cake was hearing the office staff talk about paying $3 for a pack of garments. I was charged $100ish for my postop garment that didn't work and was $10 on Amazon. Dr Hennessey did offer to do a repair surgery but I was not willing to take any more risks because I had lost all faith in his practice. I was not surprised when I didn't get a courtesy response to my letter. This has been quite disheartening for me. I believe that it is crucial for potential patients to thoroughly research and consider all aspects before committing to any procedures with Downsized, as the results are not only immediate but can also have a lasting impact on your well-being. It's important to remember that sometimes lower costs can reflect on the quality of the outcome. Please take care when choosing a medical professional, as the consequences of any surgical procedure are something you will spend a lifetime loving or hating. I thought fat reduction would make me look younger but I currently have neckbands that make me look like a senior citizen. Don't believe the hype. LEFT IN TEARS I didn't even make it to the OR I am very insecure about my post baby body, after my third child, I saved my pennies for a liposuction surgery. So with taking a dive into Liposuction you could imagine I was biting my nails and losing sleep... Your right I was. Its kinda sad to say that I was nervous and scared but I decided to set up a consult with the first doctor who landed on my Google bar, thinking " Hey, the first is the best!" You ever hear your gut tell you off saying something doesn't feel right and you silently tell it off, that was me after leaving my consultation. I was greeted by Maureen ( strike the Phantom Of The Opera music) before I came I read on the reviews that she was rude and unkind. So i reserved opinion, I wasn't greeted kindly, offered no water, just told where to sit, oh wait I could watch Netflix and wait if the WIFI was working. So i held my breath and was told to wait in a room about five feet from the waiting area. Along came the nurse?? She was nice and I don't have any complaints other then she couldn't speak english. YEAH! Everything felt so rushed, they didn't tell me to undress, ask me about my health, any medications I was taking. I had to pull up my dress and EXPOSE myself in my underwear when they examined me. They both closed in on my abdomen saying " you have good skin" Im sorry what does that mean?? and the other thing " We can do it." I had no idea what to ask, where do I start, so I asked questions and they didn't like that, Dr. Hennessy referred me to a video on his website, that would give me the answers I was asking. I guess i didn't deserve his breath or time. So I got the hint and left. They gave me an estimate and I gave them the $500. deposit. Now ladies and gentlemen when I had saved money and saw an opportunity to solve my crisis I took it, all $3200 dollars of it. Now after reading reviews not to bother Miss Maureen with questions you bet I was hesitant to ask. I came in November 25, 2018 at precisely 2pm to drop off the payment and introduce my husband to the doctor. Im on time walk through the doors with my husband and two boys, ages 7 months and 2 and half years old. I realize I forgot my packet of papers to be signed prior to surgery, so I ask Maureen and she playfully scolds me for it. HAHA! I Guess it was hard for her to grab another packet, which she hands me. Im reading and my son sneezes, she asks " is he sick, cause if he is I have to ask if you can go for a walk" My husband leaves with my two year old. Im isolated and in a awkward situation. I have the payment but I realized I overpaid the cashiers check. (deposit need to be applied) I ask her if she can reimburse me and she has no idea how to do that and says the Dr. could. OKAY... I ask when the doctor would be in and she says momentarily, so I wait. As Im reading the paperwork it states " you have all your questions answered " sign here... I explain to her I want my husband to meet the man who will be operating on me. She tells me that he doesn't do a second consultation and that I should have had my questions answered at the consult. Making me feel like Im WORTHLESS and BOTHERSOME, i begin to tell her I had no prior knowledge of such a procedure and I have some questions. SHE TOLD ME TO GO HOME AND WRITE THEM DOWN, and he would call me..... wow! All of a sudden she was arguing with me, and I left completely IN TEARS, it was all a blur. The way she spoke to me, DISMISSIVE AND CONDECDINGLY the remainder of the day was weird. She said he would call, he didn't. So i called and asked when he would, I tried to relate and tell her Its nerve racking and i just wanted reassurance. She berated me saying she was upset? That there are CAMERAS RECORDING YOU when you walk in and audio. Okay cool, where is the sign?? That she was doing her job and that the doctor would call me in the morning sometime... she was scolding me like a child, and hung up on me. This woman does not belong in Healthcare or in fact anything to do with hospitality. The number to Downsize goes through her, whether she is out of the office or in it, she obviously has control issues and was so rude to me and probably others. I put $500 down for my procedure and I doubt they will refund it , because maybe thats the kind of office Dr. Hennessy runs, He has a low overhead and we are the cattle, I did not feel any human compassion, care or face value respect. I was merely a check to him. This is a shady business, and 100% all the reviews of good service are paid for. If I help one person from walking through DOWNSIZE'S doors and being publicly humiliated and deterring them to other doctors who will treat you with human decency so be it. I was really excited to visit this office. I went in multiple times to pay and have my stomach looked at to prepare for lipo. Maureen seemed very sweet....until. I had to cancel over a week prior to my lipo due to an unexpected pregnancy. I called to tell Maureen right away so they could open the spot for someone else. She then informed me that i probably wasn't pregnant and that i needed to go get a blood test to be sure and she wouldn't cancel me till I got one. I did the next day she then said they needed all my scripts back but to mail them as they no longer wanted me in the office. They told me my deposit was non refundable (which is totally fine) and that they would mail me my remaining balance. I sent my scripts next day certified mail and haven't seen my money since. It's been two months. I have contacted them multiple times and their standard response is "we'll check on it and get back to you". Now they aren't returning my emails AT ALL and still no $2500 back to me. Just because I got pregnant unexpectedly didn't mean id never be a patient. I was all for waiting until after the baby was born to go back, but after the things Maureen said to me I'm really not sure now. All I want is for them to do what they said they were going to do. This was my first time having any cosmetic surgery, so I didn't know what to expect. My procedure was local so I was not under anesthesia. Dr Hennessy removed about 5 lbs of fat from my midsection and my stomach is flatter, however my stomach is not smooth, my sides are uneven, I do not have a smooth transition into my hips and I still have back fat on my lower back after getting lipo360. Although I look decent in clothes, my stomach is embarrassing to show without them on. I was a size 10 to start, so I wasn't really big or flabby. In fact people did not understand why I was getting Lipo. I just wanted a flat stomach and to wear a crop top. Post op, I had a crease from the fluids from day 1. I started my lymphatic massages two days after my procedure and got at minimum 20 sessions, however after a few months I realized that some of my issues were beyond massages. I wore and continue to wear my garment all the time and even purchased the stomach boards to keep it flat. I called to share my concerns and I was told I had to wait another year before Dr. Hennessey will make any corrections and I needed to be 5 pounds within my post surgery weight. I've consulted with other doctors and have done my research to know that doctors can make corrections well within a year and some are needed. I am currently in the process of getting a correction because I do not want to go a full year like this. I tried to give the office an opportunity to correct it now that 8 months have passed and the swelling is down, however they were firm on waiting a year and more time will not correct my concerns. . Hello to all! I have had a few plastic surgeries done in the past. However, as we know things tends to shift as time passes. I found Downsize Lipo Houston on the website (google). At the time, they were offering 50% off all packages to first time clients. However, I must say it is very important to do your research on any kind of surgery that you're interested in before your consult. This will allow you to have great understanding on what the Doctor is talking about, what kind of questions to ask, what to expect before and after surgery. I must say to all, you have to be realistic. Downsize Lipo provided me with great customer services from the time I walked into the door. For every office visit, your parking is covered. Also, Dr. Hennessy is a wonderful doctor that provides great results. I wanted and needed fat removed from my back area. My back was the only part of my body which consisted of unwanted fat that was very stubborn and difficult to remove. I had one fat roll above my bra strips and double fat rolls underneath my bra strips. This would cause me to wear thin or heavy button down sweaters depending on the weather to cover my back. There is a down payment which consists of $500.00 dollars to hold your spot and the remaining of the payment must be paid in full before the procedure. A prescription is provided to you for the total of three different medications. This consists of pain medication, muscle relaxer, and medication to keep you calm during the procedure. You must have the medication with you the day of the procedure. You have to get a pre-op physical from your doctor. This gives you clearance to have the procedure done (your primary doctor must do this physical and complete and signed the form and submitted back to Dr. Hennessey office before the surgery).The nurse will administer you the medication before the procedure. Each procedure will take a different amount of time. For my back area, it took the total of two hours with the total of eight incisions. Due to the medication I was calm and relaxed. And because this wasn't my first rodeo, I wasn't nervous. I was happy and ready to see a new look for my back area. The surgery felt like vibration and pressure. Sometimes a little burning, but nothing major. The whole entire time, the nurse was in the room helping me and the doctor. Bring a movie to watch, socks, wear something that loose fitting and a driver! The Doctor removed 2lbs of fat, minor bruising, lots of swelling. I saw great results the first & second week. But I was still bloated. I had my first appointment one week and my second appointment six weeks later. I really recommend Dr. Hennessey for Lipo. Please remember, great customer services is what you're looking for. But you are also looking for a surgeon who is a professional, provide great results, can answer your questions after you have educated yourself and who are focus on making you happy with great results. read more

I just got my 360 done on Friday, 3 days ago and I followed instructions and damn! I look like a Bombshell already. I paid my $500 downpayment in Dec 18', but was scared so I waited 8 months ...Still numb in some areas and Im sore, but Thank God for a cinched waist and flat stomach. (And safe procedure) The procedure was a bit ticklish for me and did not feel weird. I laughed on the operation table lol...im still draining but my holes are almost closed up already. Very small tiny holes. I have dark skin..I cant wait to wear the dresses ive had in my closet. I saw my fat in that container after and I flipped it the bird lol. I dont have lumps so far but I still plan on getting fibrosis massages just in case. I get married in 8 months so im ready now!!! read more

STAY FAR AWAY!!!! I wish there was an option for 0 stars! I had just had a baby less than a month ago and was feeling very insecure about my abdomen area and decided to contact this facility to inquire about their services. After speaking with a woman who couldn't answer any of my questions, she asked that I schedule a free consultation with the doctor to answer my questions regarding surgery post partum. When I met with the doctor, I advised him of my medical condition (post partum depression, low self esteem, etc.) and he advised me that it shouldn't be a problem getting lipo even with my delivery being less than a month ago and while nursing. As hesitant as I was, I paid the deposit for hopes that I could get my body and self esteem back without very much thought (selfish of me... I know!). I was told I would be contacted with a surgery date, but never was. A few days later, I had my port partum appointment with my OBGYN. during my visit I mentioned my intention to get lipo. My doctor was very adamant about me not having any procedures done and that I was in no condition to get the lipo. Immediately after I left my doctor's office, I called Dounsize Lipo and spoke with the lady I scheduled my initial consultation with. I explained what my doctor said and told her I don't feel comfortable getting the lipo and asked for my $500 deposit back. She advised me that the deposit is non-refundable. However, she said, in my case, since it's against my doctor's advise, If I was willing to provide a written statement from my doctor, I would get a $500 refund. I called my doctor and she was happy to provide me with a letter stating her advice against any procedure. I forwarded this letter to dounsize and was told to give a few days to review. A month and a half went with me requesting updates and follow-ups. Finally, after a month and a half, I received a text message informing me that I would not get a refund despite my doctor's statement due to them not providing refunds. I was then threatened with a lawsuit if I said anything about them online. Ha! At this point, I'm so glad I dodged this bullet and did not get any work done by these unethical people. God knows what would've happened to me on the operating table if they can't even keep their word regarding refund of a small deposit. Very dishonest and unethical, not to mention the fact that they lied and wasted my time and my doctor's time. Good luck with these guys. read more

The experience and the team was overall pretty good. The procedure itself is kind of jarring. Not being asleep is rough but it you can handle that you will be fine. My results were over 6lbs removed. Not all problem areas were addressed so I will probably have to go back for a second round. Don't expect life changing results but it does help flatten problem areas. read more
