I have visited several Beauty Boutiques within last 2-3 years around Houston area, and they all had the same problem: unless you are coming for an expensive cosmetic surgical procedure you are treated as irrelevant. Not at Mirror Mirror! I came in for my first appointment with Veronica Jones and was greeted by a friendly and attractive staff in their posh office off Richmond and Wesleyan. Veronica came and greeted me promptly at my scheduled time, took the vitals, picture medical history and we discussed the Botox injections I came in for. Veronica is pleasant, professional and most importantly very knowledgeable and skilled about the Botox injections. I had it done before-incorrectly hence I appreciate the skill that goes into it. Veronica will share her professional opinion especially when customer might have tendency to overdo. In short she will do the right thing! I highly recommend her. Approach is conservative and rightly so. Each sessions comes with a follow up two weeks later when few touches up are done (if needed), free of charge. I had a terrible experience, I got my lips done last year and it was my very first lip fillers. I do not know what kind of liquid they put in my lips but it only lasted 2 months. Permanently botched face & money removed from account with no warning. I am so insecure because of how this place botched my face. My face has been different since I made the bad decision of getting injected here. In December, I foolishly went to mirror mirror for lip injections. Emily botched my face, suggested chin filler, filled my chin without cleaning or prepping the area whatsoever and 8 months later, I'm still botched. My chin sprouted a smaller chin on top of my normal chin As soon as she injected me. I begged Emily to dissolve the filler immediately but she assured me it would be better in time. It's not. My chin never went back to normal. My lips have deflated & only have small lumps and beads of filler as a reminder. My money was refunded as credit on my account And I got a couple facials. One facial I didn't make it to my appointment and I saw $100 was removed from my account. NO mention of a cancellation policy or deposit was made on the phone. When I called back, they said I signed something that consented to A $100 charge in case of cancellation. I asked them to email me that paperwork that I signed. They never sent me anything. They said the customer service manager would contact me. No one ever contacted me. Beware of this place. They completely ruined my chin, had the audacity to charge my account $100 and then left me hanging when I asked for answers. Stay away from this place!!! But if you decide to go don't let them fool you like they fooled me with memberships that according to them are "free of any obligation and can be cancelled at any time." I fell for it and subscribed to pay $89/month and accumulate that money as credit for treatments. I recently moved away from Houston and I will not be going there anymore so I called to cancel the membership and get my refund from the last payment that was taken out of my account since that money will not be used at their establishment. For the first time I was told the membership was a contract and if cancelled before a year I had to pay $350 (NO ONE even mentioned anything about a contract or a cancellation fee when I accepted to be start the membership) and of top of that they refuse to process a refund so they plain and simple are going to steal $89 from me. Fine, I let them have it, but be very careful when dealing with them. Not to mention the person who used to do my treatments is no longer there so Dr. Vitenas did it the last two times, barely looking at me, rushing, and of course the results were really bad. Due to Covid-19, the boutique is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of the patients and staff, something that I appreciate greatly. Sarah H was very professional, attentive, and professional during my procedure. Hyperpigmentation is one of my main concerns, especially since I am African American that is a major issue with our skin when it heals from pimples, scratches, etc. I felt very comfortable discussing this concern with Sarah. As someone who has worked in the industry for years I have been to MANY medspas and even some of the best plastic surgeons to fix what the medspas had previously botched and never got the results I got at Mirror Mirror. The pictures I posted below are one without any lip injections, one after I got them done and even fixed by Dr Nikko himself, and another after I went to Mirror Mirror. Not only did they completely reshape and fix my lips, giving me my cupid's bow back and getting them as big as they could with still looking somewhat natural. She also did my botox differently than ever before. I always ask for my forehead to be frozen, but she also injected it in a way to give me an eyebrow lift which makes my face look complexly different in an amazing way and my eyes so much bigger. She also put filler in my chin to make my jawline stronger and enhance my over all look. They are very thorough with their consultations and go above and beyond to answer any questions and any hesitations you might have. They NEVER try and up sell you with products or try and sell more filler or botox if you do not need it. There were a few times I would ask for more lip filler during my yearly touch up's and she would even pull pictures to show me how I didn't need it, preventing me from looking too fake, as lip filler can easily become addictive! I used to see Marty, but since she retired they now have Brenda, who worked with Marty and has also been in the industry for 10 years. I will never go any where else and trust them so much I know whoever the hire is well qualified. The place is clean and beautiful, the staff is friendly and classy, and the prices are always comparable. They are not the cheapest as some places but the difference in price is worth is considering the qualifications of the nurses and how amazing their technique is. I would recommend this place to anyone! Learn from my mistakes and pay a tiny extra to go to an awesome place the first time so your not left to redo it all like I was! Reading some of the few negative comments, I can tell that was the person not doing their research or their part of the procedure. I would never get my lips done without knowing what solution they were using and how long it typically lasted. Marty would never have injected a patient with something without discussing it first and telling you the pros and cons. I liked her to freeze my forehead when I get botox and if for some reason it wasn't frozen enough for me after she did it, I would come in after and she would touch it up for free. That is something they always offer. They also ALWAYS do a follow up call with you even if you only receive botox to find out how things are. I find it hard to believe someone would get their lips done and never be able to get in contact with the after. Again, I cannot say enough good things about Mirror Mirror! I can't say great enough things about Emily Zimmerman! She spent so much time with me truly listening to all of my concerns and then explaining things in great detail. She really saved my lips. I had filler injected 2 years ago, and they haven't been the same ever since. I thought the best option was to inject more filler to smooth them out/shape them better. Everyone else I consulted with agreed and definitely wanted to inject way too much. Emily ended up helping me realize that there was still a little filler in my top lip from 2 years ago which was causing the things I didn't like about the appearance. She injected something that dissolves it. I was nervous, but she explained what it was and what it does very clearly and thoroughly. (The dissolver was also $400 less than the filler. This shows me she is obviously less concerned about making money off of her clients, and genuinely cares about delivering the best possible service and results.) My lips look 100 times better. It completely got rid of the problems I had. I am beyond grateful for Emily. I don't even want to think about how this would've turned out if the universe had not put me in her hands. I was a new patient at Mirror Mirror. When I came for my appointment last week, I immediately felt intimidated and suddenly regretted my decision to come to this place. There was an older, blonde, thin haired woman and a black haired woman that made me feel like I wasn't worthy of being in their office. The black haired girl, I think she said her name stared with a N. Both of them looked me up and down and like I was a bothersome to them!
