When you walk in their is a take out deli style place and in back is their seat down area. Big on various coffees and teas. Service by Nina was friendly and attentive. Coffee served blackandbrasscoffee.com was amazing. Even purchased 2 pkgs for home. Western omelette was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I think this is one of the better breakfast/brunch spots in Scranton. They also have a bunch of great food and drink options, so there's something for everyone. Although they have a lot of unique items on the menu, I got the bacon, egg and cheese on a roll with a side of fruit. I also got the honey bee iced latte, which was amazing. Everyone else loved their coffee choices too. They even have a coffee bar in the restaurant if you just want to grab a quick drink. I've also never had to wait to get a table, even when I came here with 7 people. A lot of other places in the area are much smaller and have longer waits, which is the main reason we came here. I'd definitely recommend checking this spot out! read more

I wish I could write about the food but we didn't make it that far. Entered at 11:45 am, was seated by 11:50. Hostess gave us our water. 20+ minutes between being seated, nobody came to take an order, tell us they will be with us, nothing. Honestly very unhappy with this place. It's not worth the price if the food will be incorrect when I order it. I ordered the Bacon Ranch Fries and it came with no ranch and no cheese. My clients picked this spot to eat and I decided to get the tuna sandwich. They called in the order. When I arrived I found parking on the street nearby. I walked into a very busy deli. I told the lady my name and paid. The food wasn't ready and it took about 20 more minutes or so for it to be ready. Finally the food was ready and I left. When I tried the sandwich it was bad at all. The portions were very large. I had the short stack of pancakes which was more than I could eat, and they had real butter! I would be a regular if I lived or worked in downtown Scranton. The prices seemed affordable enough for college students. We had a family group of 6 that ranged in age from 3yrs old to 76 and even with the baby throwing food the waitress kept my coffee hot and full. It was very clean. We sat near the Biden Street entrance so it was a bit bustling and noisey but there were plenty of seats on the Penn Ave side which would probably be quite and conducive to conversation. read more

I added the chorizo sausage which was tasty! I would try the huevos rancheros if I go back! And my friend had the breakfast sandwich with a plain bagel. It was received well!! The steak that came with the steak and eggs platter was grey and rubbery. Clearly it was frozen as well. All in all very disappointing even for diner food. My Reuben sandwich was ok. The omelette was bland and none of the fillings were cooked. Just not so fluffy egg wrapped around raw ingredients. The home fries rubbery and not many of them. I risked the huevos rancheros which can be either excellent or terrible and it was the latter. The base was greasy and deep fried. Charming little place in a charming little city. Stopped here on a recommendation while passing through the area. No wild stories to tell here, just tales of good food and friendly employees. I enjoyed the grilled chicken in a sun dried tomato wrap. Love that they give a few different wrap options, I wish more places did the same. My lady enjoyed a speciality sandwich, the Electric City (I think), and enjoyed it. She also took our server's recommendation and enjoyed a Reese's Pieces cookie for dessert. She complimented the deli's laid back atmosphere. Which, of course, brings us to the deli itself. It's nicely decorated and VERY spacious. Was there this past Sunday, first let me say it's not a place to eat if you have celiac or special dietary needs. I asked the waitress what I could get in place of home fries and she offered me hashbrowns or potatoes. The only gluten-free item they had was a wrap, I would think she would've offered a small side salad, fruit or a vegetable of some sort. Felt very rushed to order. Food was good but I think our waitress forgot about us! Others who sat down after us got their food, and were halfway done eating before I called the waitress over, and she finally brought her food out after 40 minutes. The only thing that was hot were my eggs, the rest of the food was just warm, so I'm assuming it was sitting under the lamp for a while. After she dropped the food off, she never came back to check on us until she gave us our bill. We would go back, but definitely would ask for a different waitress. If I lived in Scranton and worked downtown then this would be my deli. It was very nice inside and very welcoming. It is located near the Steamtown mall with accessible parking at meters or for free in the parking garage with the mall. They serve breakfast all day long but I think they are only open till 3 pm at least on Saturday. I ordered the Mount Blanc and the wifer ordered a club. We got the pipsqueak a pancake. All in all, it came out to be about $18 The Mount Blanc is a Roast Beef, swiss, and Au Jou dip. I had never ordered this before and it was decent. They had plenty of roast beef to cover the entire sandwich. I would have like a little more cheese on mine. I think adding mushrooms would have made this perfect. My wife's club was packed with turkey and substantial amount of everything. She was very pleased with hers. The Pancake-wow- I could come back hear and order the pancake as they were pretty good without butter or syrup. Good service in a nice atmosphere makes this a welcome stop in Scranton. This isn't too far off of 81 either for the traveler going through needing lunch. read more
