Extra if you want cheese which is just dumb Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was not that great. Patty on the burger was dense and not seasoned at all. Fries were really good though. My mother-in-law has eaten here numerous times so we decided to meet up with her here to celebrate my husband's birthday a few days early. It was a total of 7 people that made our way here for lunch. We made reservations, but didn't need them (or did we?) as the place was pretty empty with the exception of a large group of maybe 10-15 people. The room we were in could easily fit 4x that or more. A table was waiting for us and we quickly put in our drink orders (water all around) and two appetizers, chips and salsa and 2 orders of their crab cakes. The clock kept ticking...15 minutes passed by...our waitress said our apps would be out shortly. 30 minutes passed by--nothing. 41 minutes later our CHIPS AND SALSA came out. 10 minutes later our crab cakes came out. We all were pretty hangry by this time but those crab cakes came to the rescue. They were large patties served with spicy aioli. This was definitely 5/5. Our waitress came over and apologized again...their kitchen was really behind. I guess they were having a hard time keeping up with the other party. Our food came out almost 1 1/2 after we first arrived. Unfortunately, they did not cook my dad's meal which was the Haddock Sandwich. Both my mom and dad ordered one. By the time they got my dad's food out, we were all done eating. I felt so bad. The waitress said the manager would give us a discount. When the bill arrived, they discounted us 10% off of the one meal. So the total discount we received on a check was $1.40. I don't normally get mad...I'm not one to complain, but this was just not right. I asked to speak to the manager and she came out...before we could even bring up anything, she said, "I was the one who told (insert waitress name) to put in the 10% discount on the sandwich, but I just went ahead and took the whole thing off". Needless to say, the service was not the best... In the end, they took the meal off, but that doesn't change the experience had. If the service was on point, this place would easily be five stars in my book. The crab cakes, wings, fish sandwiches, burgers and Italian wedding soup were superb. read more

We had a wonderful experience with an event that was here in the fall. We came back and ordered nachos another day. They were definitely different than what we expected, small order for the price and not great. We will try something else on the menu next time. The place is clean and great staff. read more

Andrei's Restaurant - Scottsmoor - 0.5 Star *SWILL ALERT* Piu [pee-yew] - meaning to rot or decay Brevard County has been my home for 52 years. It is the longest county in Florida clocking in at 72 miles from Micco in the South to Scottsmoor in the North. While Micco has one of the best hidden gem restaurants in the county, Scottsmoor is still an armpit of a veritable food wasteland. Andrei's came on my radar and I was actually looking forward to the trip north. The restaurant sits inside the Indian River Preserve Golf Club. This stunningly beautiful building houses one of the most disgusting restaurants in which I have ever dined. My loyal readers should be thankful this place is so terrible. You have to drive two miles off the main road through some of the most desolate, slow-moving terrain I have ever driven. I was actually becoming angry as the minutes passed. Not sure why whatever "braniac" designed this access road the way they did but he deserves a solid punch in the mouth. Once you are done navigating the back trails of Mims you come to a lush open expanse of greenery and the previously stated Taj Mahal-like clubhouse. Sadly, what awaits you inside is an absolute culinary horror show bordering on the criminal. My server Amber had a positive, bubbly, and friendly attitude. However, she was either clueless about the fare or was lied to about what she was serving. She came across as too honest so I am guessing the latter. I started off with my obligatory unsweetened iced tea. I tasted and realized immediately it was from a soft drink dispenser. It was disgusting. When I asked Amber for something else she replied, "yeah, everyone hates the tea here" - an ominously honest statement coming from an employee. This means the restaurant owner knows everyone hates the tea but be damned if he is going to fix the problem. I ordered the Big Boy Club with bacon (I should probably sue them for brand infringement but this joint won't be here long). I asked Amber if the turkey was real or processed she said "hold on, let me check." She went in the back came back and said "it's real," but of course, when it arrived, it was clearly processed. This confirmed for me she was being lied to by the kitchen. The second dish I ordered was the Poutine. Let me tell you, I have eaten some creative Poutines in my day. Generally, they are fresh cut spuds smothered in a homemade gravy and topped with melted cheese curds. I should have taken a clue from the disgusting iced tea what was to come. Warning - the picture is not for the squeamish - when this arrived I became nauseous from the smell. For some reason the gravy was mixed with this fetid meat that reeked like it had sat in the walk-in for months. The potatoes were those frozen Ore Ida chunks you pop in the oven for 10 minutes and have no flavor. This was so bad I could not eat it. I am placing a swill alert on Andrei's Restaurant. Located in the middle of a golf course, which itself is located in a very small, country town on the east coast of Florida, Andrei's is special place at a somewhat hidden spot. Although it might be a tad bit hard to find it, it was worth the time and effort. The restaurant it part of the golf course's clubhouse, so seating is limited. My wife and I ended up waiting a good 20-minutes for a table and at any other place it would have been a frustrating experience, but here was altogether different story. We were constantly updated on the progress of a table opening up and were offered drinks as well. Once a table opened up, they cleaned it right up and soon we were sat. The menu is what I would call American (burgers, steak, fish, chicken cooked with sides such as fries, tater tots, and mashed potatoes to name a few.) It wasn't extensive, but each choice was unique, quite special really and to that end we both had a hard time choosing. We ended up selecting their Boom Boom Shrimp as an appetizer - small but scrumptious. For dinner, my wife had their burger (quite a beastie in size) where I choose their flat iron steak. Both were cooked to order and were presented wonderfully. The dress code is casual, but the food presentation harks to a 4- or 5-star kinda place. The dessert menu was simple as well - only a few choices, but good. My wife and I shared their peanut butter pie and almond amaretto cake. We walked away stuffed from the table. Service was a bit slow, but the waitress was chatty and very personable (and we weren't in any hurry, so who cares, right?) Anyway, we enjoyed the dinner and got in one dance on the Thursday night we attended. (Thursday's are their 'Thirsty Thursdays' with live music and dancing from 5pm until 8pm - it was a very nice deal.) read more

This is a hidden gem at the walkabout golf club in Mims,FL. Our fiends several weeks ago too us to Andrei's for dinner. I had the most wonderful Ribeye steak. Several days ago my wife and I retuned to have a Prime rib. It was excellent. Their menu is small and limited to the chefs choices each day. Their deserts are also very good as are the portions.My wife and I always share a desert, and as it turned out it was more than enough for the two of us Our waitress was very friendly and answered all our questions. It is a shame they do not advertised as it is off the mainstream .It is located SR46 opposite McDonalds.Take 95 exit 222. As you enter the Indian River you will have a long drive as it is at the golf course. But it is worth checking out. read more

Great potential but sadly the food quality is inconsistent. Servers have always been pleasant and able to adjust the bill when food was terrible. Unfortunately we have had the bill adjusted twice out of about 10 visits. Their open hours need to be corrected in their website. We drove that long road from Hwy 46 to the clubhouse for nothing on Sunday. Too bad that most restaurants I. Titusville and Mims are not open on Sunday. Very surprised that they then complain about people going out of town. Done with this place though. read more

Met a friend for lunch and there were two issues. First, they were slow so my order shouldn't have been made incorrectly! I asked for Swiss cheese got processed American for a burger that I was charged $14.00! Then my friend was charged double for her little salad! It was almost a two hour lunch, when they only had 3 tables of guests. Very expensive and bad service for a lunch! Most likely won't be back. read more

This has been our favorite place for dinner in north Brevard. When it came time to make our Valentines Day plans, we checked with them. They were offering a very nice four course menu including a bottle of house wine or champagne. We made our reservation for 7:00pm. When we arrived about 5 minutes early, the first seating had obviously ended and there were 4 tables already set for the next seating. The hostess seem confused as to where to seat us and asked us to wait while they cleared a table even though 4 tables were ready and empty. Eventually we were seated and were asked about our choice of wine or champagne . We ordered a bottle of the house Merlot. When the waitress brought it and opened it, she immediately poured a full glass and placed it in front of my wife without offering me a chance to taste first. We had already made our choices from the menu before we arrived so we gave her our order. She returned to our table about 5 minutes later to inform us they had no more beef! We were one of the first to arrive for the second seating and they were already out of beef. Hard to understand, when reservations were required and They knew how many guests they were serving. My wife was forced to change her order and the other choices were not anything she liked. She settled for a chicken Wellington and could not eat it since it was filled with mushrooms which she can't eat. Not a very good second choice from filet mignon. What should have been a special evening at what we felt was a special place turned out to be a total dissapointment. Very poor planning by management and poor training of the staff. Andrei's has moved way down our list after this dinner. By the way, my duck breast was very good. read more

Three of us met for dinner last night and the music was so loud we could not hear one another around the table to engage in normal conversation. Although it was 2 for 1 happy hour and there were several groups enjoying a drink the conversation noise from the other diners was not at all invasive while the performer was so loud that none of our party enjoyed their dinner and couldn't wait to leave. The food was fine but we will not return due to the noise level. The wait staff asked the entertainer to turn down the volume several times but apparently she had no interest in the comfort of the diners. Had she been in the back room it probably wouldn't have been an issue but in the corner of the main dining room the noise was unacceptable. We have been coming to the restaurant over the past several years and have enjoyed dining there, but lack of respect for the diners last night will keep us from coming again. read more
