Very limited menu, which is just fine. You go to a grilled cheese sandwich place for, well, a grilled cheese sandwich. And they make them better than anyone. The place is unimposing, it shares space with 903 Brewing, with yard sale furnishings. Recommendation: go for the half sandwich with the soup. The whole sandwiches are quite large. but if that's what you want, go for the large one too. You will not be disappointed. We have the chicken and the ham, just the right amount of everything, and the way they grill sandwiches reminds one of walking into an old- time pizza place. The grilled cheese was awesome and the staff were very friendly and checked in on us regularly. We were not a fan of the tomato basil soup, but the grilled cheese made up for it! I was skeptical at first because I'm not the biggest fan of a normal grilled cheese, but the sandwich was awesome and not at all what I expected. This is hands down one of the best secrets of Sherman. I love everything that is made to order fresh off the menu. I've been eating here since it opened. I love the avocado pepper jack sandwich. My favorite soup is the chicken tortilla. The bistro burgers are mouth watering with hand made patties. On Fridays, there is often a great special to try the 903 beer complimentary. Just go!! Seriously good food! My husband loved the big ole boy and I loved the brisket tacos. Even the grilled donut was amazing! You can tell that they use high quality meats, cheeses and breads. This is just about the bottom of the barrel for Sherman. This is obviously a bar no doubt a good bar I'm sure but food just skip it. The effort was appreciated but common sense when it comes to soups cannot be kept for day's on end and served just to save a few dollars on product. The home made brew is so costly we laughed. Great grilled cheese, I was happy to find this place when we moved to Sherman 2 years ago. It was downtown at that point and very convenient to get to. Unfortunately for me they moved their location and I am no longer comfortable going out to their new bar location. I went there once and got the ugliest stares and felt really out of place. The Roberts have done a terrific job in bringing a delicious menu of items to all who enter this fun place near the downtown Sherman square. Love the old building which used to be a high end ladies ware shop way back in the 60's. Love the music selections! Love the energy of all the workers behind the counter! This place ROCKS. Stopped by here for lunch with my daughter. Oh wow! What a nice surprise. I had a lunch combo, tomato soup and a grilled cheese with grilled onions.... very, very good. My daughter had an ooey gooey grilled cheese.. she loved it! Their butter or oil that they put on their bread made me want to order just a loaf of bread..Only downfall that I noticed is very limited amount of seating.... so if you go during a peak time you may have to take it to go... but dining in or out, the food will be yummy. read more
