So with that in mind, here goes; The Good: The food options are pretty awesome. If you haven't tried First Watch, Park Lane Tavern or Monsoon - where have you been!? The cinema really isn't the worst, the matinee prices are great and they accept military discount so Tuesdays are a great excuse to catch a movie for 5 bucks. You can walk around and go in and out of the shops as you please; Victoria's Secret, H&M, Francesca's, Bath & Bodyworks, Barnes & Noble and Finish Line (which is grand for fitting you with the correct running shoes for YOU in mind, and offers 20% military discount). The Bad: Shops don't seem to be able to stay open around here. I've seen a few come and go over the years and it sucks. And don't get me started on the additional PTC tax... but that's a story for another day. So overall, not bad Peninsula Town Center, still plenty of work to be done though!

DO NOT go into the Spencer's in this mall. I have never been met with pushier staff, I was told the same thing repeatedly about the same sale that was posted all over the store already. When I did not respond to that I was pushed to look at more things over in a different spot, i understand that their goal is to sell their products but it was getting annoying to this point. So I went to the back got what I actually came for and went to check out and get out. When checking out the employee was trying upsell me into getting their brand of batteries which i declined. She then proceeded to get very forceful and began to tell me those were the only batteries that would make it work, I told her I knew this was not true as I have the same product already and have used other batteries for it. She then lied to me again and told me that it would explode and she's only telling me the truth and that it's not the same product because they came out with a new line. Which I at that point knew was entirely false bought the batteries because I knew she was not going to stop. As I left the store complaining about being upsold she proceeded to follow me out of the store claiming she is the manager and she is not upselling and she continued to talk to me with a horrible attitude the entire way out of the store genuinely causing a scene. This experience was truly disgusting and so disappointing I will never be returning there if I even come back to this mall at all.

I shop in this area often and it's very convenient and only a stone throw away from Peninsula Town Center. Coliseum Drive can get a little busy around lunch time but there's plenty of good places to shop and eat here. Food Lion, Party City, PetCo, Moe's Southwest Grill, Starbucks, Ross Dress For Less, Soya Sushi Bar & Grill, Dollar Tree, Mooyah, Sally Beauty, Shoe City, Davids Bridal, Jason's Deli, and more!

There is a pond located in the center of the shops with a gazebo for pictures and lovely benches placed around the pond. In perfect weather it is a great place to walk and or sit and converse. The sounds of the water fixture is soothing which makes for a serene vibe and atmosphere. There are many restaurants in the area within walking distance but it was unfortunate that most closed at 10 pm. I was not able to appreciate the dining in this area but I will definitely return to get the full experience. I reccomend this location for a nice date night or a girls night out!

She then tells me I have four items to which is her mistake because she realizes it's 5 items like I told her. I try the clothes on. I come out all the clothes in my hand. Ready to go look for more items and different sizes. I was taking all the clothes with me. I give her the piece back she says will you be taking them with you. I say yes she goes on to say well let me count them. Now I know for sure this is not protocol. She counts all the pieces and I left them right there. I've worked in retail you don't count the pieces people are intending to buy. If you are going to have workers that are going to stereotype customers hire new people. Maybe around 230-300pm. I was in a rush that day and felt forced to sign up since the lady who checked me out wouldn't finish ringing up the rest of my things. As stated, the process should've taken "3-5" minutes, yet in total i was at the checkout line for over 10-13 minutes. I am upset and will not be shopping at this location again.
