Country Kennel staff took such good care of our dog while we were at the beach for a week. Our dog…read moreis almost 12 yrs old and has thyroid disease so he is on daily meds. He is a big dog with joint pain that comes with age so we are more concerned leaving him the older he gets. It's nice to know I could text the kennel anytime to check on him and they always respond in a timely manner. They let me know early in his stay that he wasn't eating well and that they would add an approved additive (which I signed off on when we dropped him off) to his food. After that day, he was eating fine. They have options to add on treats and nature walks which we know our dog loves. I also added on a bath and nail trim the Saturday before we picked him up. He was so clean and fluffy when we picked him up and had a cute bandanna around his neck too! He was very perky and happy which was nice to see. This is only our second time boarding him with Country Kennel, but we feel so at ease knowing he is receiving such good care and that means the world to us!

The Pawgress reports were a nice touch, allowing us to stay updated on our dogs while enjoying our trip. It's unfortunate that there was a bit of confusion during check-out, but was glad it was resolved with Drew's assistance. It was frustrating to say the least, that we did not receive an overall "Pawgress report" as promised at checkout, when we were initially quoted by staff members, and confirmed twice with staff midway through our trip of the total costs to be paid at the time of checkout. Also, when I got home, we realized one of items we had brought, Sadie's pillow,,had not been in all their belongings. The luxury suite package(which includes a TV in their room) and the mix of gold and silver plans provided our dogs with a good variety of options. Overall, we had a good experience with Pet Suites Greensboro.

We adopted him when he was 6yrs and have had him for the past 3, but something happened along the way that brought out this unexpected and unwanted behavior in Oliver. He taught us each skills and techniques that could bring harmony back into our home. Unfortunately my pup had such an upsetting experience here. I spoke with the staff and included in…read morethe initial paperwork that my dog was not crate trained because it causes her significant anxiety and that she should not be placed in one while waiting to be groomed and was assured that she wouldn't be. I double checked when I dropped her off that this was feasible in the workflow and let them know that I was available to pick her up as soon as she was ready to prevent any need to place her in a crate. When I went to pick her up for simple grooming service, they informed me she was so scared during the service that 2 staff had to hold her down and yet continued to complete the service. I was not informed of this until I picked her up. Needless to say we will not be returning. If you have a dog who can be anxious during grooming, I'd recommend going to a different place. We have had much more success with a groomer that is more personable and conscientious
