I love All Pets Considered! They are always a pleasure to work with and are great with communication. I bring my large goldendoodle for a wash + cut and he always leaves looking so handsome. I drop him off and usually get a call to pick him up within 3-4 hours. There was a recent price increase so please expect to pay $100+ if you have a large dog. This is a review of the Salon & Spa at All Pets Considered: I had an extremely disappointing experience at this groomer. There was poor communication when I scheduled the appointment, as no one mentioned my dog would be sitting in a crate for hours. When my husband dropped her off, he was told it would take 5 hours. Winnie has never had a grooming appointment that lasted more than two hours. I tried calling multiple times to check on her but couldn't reach anyone, eventually having to call the pet store just to get someone on the phone. I was then told my dog had been washed and dried, but after learning she would still be sitting in a crate, I decided to pick her up early. The staff was rude on the phone and even more rude in person. The place was chaotic, and despite what I was told, they hadn't dried because they said she wouldn't tolerate the dryer. No groomer has ever had an issue grooming my dog--it just requires patience and care, which this place clearly lacks. When I got home, I noticed she could barely open one eye, and even 9 hours later, it's still that way. They never mentioned any issue with her eye, showing how careless and impatient they were. I've never experienced such poor service with Winnie, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. We will most likely be at the vet tomorrow if her eye does not improve. I'm genuinely shocked that a groomer could treat a dog this way. It's appalling and unacceptable. read more

Kelly was his care giver there. He took him at the last minute. I couldn't figure out why he was smelling so awful and it was driving me insane. I called them and they squeezed him immediately. Later on after he was finished Kelly told me he got sprayed by a skunk . Kelly took excellent care of him. Kelly also let me know Bugatti was a pleasure to have and was welcomed back anytime and slept through the whole bath . Love the store but I want to give a shout out to Aiden who helped me, a nervous dog mom, find the right collar. He spent time with me to show me how to use the collar correctly and promised he would help me again when my collar comes in. My old place would book your next appointment before you left from the current appointment. Time for another place to open. I feel like they carry a wide range of pet products and have a little something for everyone! They have premade cookies at the front register, which I love to get my dog for special occasions. I am new to the area of Greensboro and I was looking for an experienced Groomer for my 4 year old Maltese named Buster. I keep Buster's hair long so I requested just a face trim and short trim around the body and paws and nails cut. I dropped him off at just after 9:00am and by 11:30am he was ready to be picked up. The bill was $75. I did not get a breakdown of the charges. Considering what the groomer actually did, I felt overcharged. The groomer gave him a bath, barely trimmed around the face and I specifically ask not to pull a section of hair at the top of his head and rubber band it so it stuck up. They did just that and I made them take it out. They put a cute bandana on him. I noticed there was a huge staff and lots of overhead so he that's why they needed to overcharge me. The groomer also said Buster had some mats under his legs. I had brushed Buster out thoroughly before I brought him in. I will not be taking Buster back here. read more

A quality dog food choice store. And it has a wide variety. They deliver thank goodness. They are very friendly. They have lifetime replacements on some leashes and collars - also thank goodness bc my giant baby has almost destroyed his. The only con issues are that the food is pricey- but it's quality and they do have some manufacturers discounts but you have to figure them out if ordering online and the other con is the online ordering is not seamless. I can't do multiple search terms effectively other than their drop down filter categories. Ex) dog-food-dry and then I can use a search bar for type of meat but the results returned are not all applicable. I can't just select out poultry. No hindering complaints otherwise. This is the best local pet store! They have a wide variety everything(!!) you could need for your pet. I really love all the human things they have as well. I got a memorial pet stone from here and I really appreciated their selection of those and other non-pet variety of things. They round up (if you should choose) every month to different organizations and do a lot for the community so I am all in for supporting this awesome business. The staff is always so friendly. They have monthly subscription boxes they seem very well thought and crafted, I'm going to look into getting one. THRILLED with the grooming services at APC. My little dog is very anxious and shaky. Every other groomer we have used complains about her shaking and errs on the side of shaving her even when we explicitly ask them not to. One even severely clipped her hind leg and then blamed it on the dog. APC always adheres to our wishes and gives her the cutest little trim. They have never complained about her shaking and she always comes back happy and tail wagging (with other groomers she seems traumatized). I would happily recommend them to anyone. read more

Absolutely love this place! The staff is so sweet and you can tell when you walk in they really care about your pet. Once my family found all pets considered we haven't taken our pets anywhere else. We have lots of different pets in my House (a pit terror mix, husky, short haired and long haired cats) and everyone of them has had a good experience. This is the newest addition to our family, Rufus. He is a Collie, retriever mix and he has separation anxiety. The staff were very very sweet to the little guy and he seemed comfortable with them. We had to change his appointment time 3 times and it was very easy and met with no objections. We also were about 10 minutes late to pick him up (5:10) and the salon called us and told us where to pick him up on the store side with still no objections. I'm a fan of their retail store but today's visit was to their Grooming Salon and Spa. Earlier this week I made an appointment for baths for a Lab and 2 German Shepherds. I've tried a few different groomers and it's typically a 7-8 hour day before they're done. That's a long stressful day. Today's visit was half that time. That's a huge bonus! And in a shorter visit their coats were silky soft and shiny, they smelled fresh and their nails had been properly trimmed with smooth edges. I was also informed the groomer reported both Shepherds had redness in their ears. I had noticed recent ear rubbing behaviors so I got them in to see the vet and they both have an inner ear infection requiring treatment. That was an important and accurate observation from the groomer. Well done! Thanks All Pets Considered for taking such good care of my fur babies. read more

The best groomer(s) in Greensboro, hands down. I've brought all of my dogs here and my sister brings her dog (who by the way weighs like 15 lbs but thinks she's a 100 lbs dog). I've never had a problem here and used to bring my oldest dog here before he passed. He always seemed happy and excited when I came back to pick him up. My current dog is afraid of everything, including his own shadow and I've never had a problem when he goes to All Pets. So, if he's not scared or freaking out when I drop him off, then I know he's in good hands (like I said, he's afraid of everything and pretty vocal). What I love about this place is that they're pretty flexible with hours especially if you need a last-minute appointment, they can try to fit you in (no promises but they typically do). The prices are on par with just about every groomer in the area, so they're not really expensive and especially considering my dogs have come back happy, neat, clean, and smelling good the price is definitely worth it . read more

Lexi is still so traumatized. I don't know what was done to her but she is terrified all the time. You have someone there that abuses dog and you need to find out who. She just trembles and tucks her tail like she is scared to death. She was the most laid back easy going dog. Terrible service! Called last week before I travelled to Greensboro with my dog ... since my travels here are to care for a parent in hospice care, I had no idea how long I would be here. Since I couldn't take 10 pounds of dog food on the plane, asked All Pets Considered to special order the food. My dog is allergic to ALL food and there is only one brand that agrees with him and this is the one I special ordered (several pet stores and vets in my hometown carry it but couldn't find it anywhere in stock in Greensboro). All Pets Considered was suppose to call me today when truck arrived but they did not. When I called later in the day I was informed the food did not arrive because the distributor was out of stock. The store clerk told me there was no way to notify me earlier ... I do not believe this is true. I am now stuck ... I am here for at least a week, will run out of food for my dog tomorrow and it will take at least 2-3 days for an expedited shipment to arrive. So disappointed! I do not recommend this store to anyone ... I have had pets for decades and have gotten better communication from many other stores. read more

The only place that applies nail caps on dogs. I have asked around and no one else does it. This is a life saver for my house flooring and furniture. I will never take my dog anywhere else! A couple of them did come off in a couple of days (most stayed on) but APC put them back at no cost. I recommend APC to anyone who has a nice and expensive house with pets. APC, please keep this service forever: this makes you unique and have a monopoly over the rest - I now recommend APC to my friends and family with pets. I used to go petsmart to get my dog groomed but it just got way too expensive for just an 8 pound dog. So I started looking up other places and came across All pets considered. Once I called to make an appointment the staff were all super nice and understanding. It took about 4 hours for them to get my dog groomed which they told me in advance and once I picked up my dog, her hair was nicely groomed, nails trimmed, teeth brushed, and she smelled wonderful. Not only did all this cost 45$ but she also got a cute bow collar which I loved because at petsmart they would always put a tiny bow tie on top of my dogs head which she hated. I don't think they have same staff members like used to be or not BUT.. they mixed up my dog with other dog. Thank god that I was there on time and saw .. but receptionist handed wrong dog to other person but the person didn't know if it was her dog? Which I was VERY confused by. I saw my dog in the parking as soon as I entered the parking lot to park my car, stranger was holding my god ( I KNOW HOW MY DOG LOOKS LIKE EVEN AFTER GROOMING ) cuz I always get the same style and been here more than years.. so I rolled up my window and yelled that is my dog but receptionist says No this is "x" (dog's name) not yours( mine was Tori); sounded similar with Tori but ANYWAY I realized the stranger put leashed on MY DOG and calling him her dog's name and I was speechless.. started to approach to them and explain but stranger and receptionist denied? Kept saying this is "x". Asked receptionist to bring other dog and I saw the other dog that she thinks that is my dog but IT WAS NOT my dog .. much bigger and different color.. not sure how the dog owner was confused by but they do not look a like AT ALL. My dog kept trying to come to me but the lady was like " Oh do you want to say Hi to her"? I was like.. that is MY DOG.. and the dog owner finally realized that my dog wasn't her dog ... this is SO insane....... I am still shaking and no one apologized to me. Imagine if I wasn't there on time. I had another lady who stood behind me ( watching the whole situation)saying that is crazy.. I guess It is time to find another groomer OR I need to make name tag for my dog with my picture. read more
