I checked out at the front and paid $75.25, I told the receptionist the doctor asked me to return Monday and that I would be back that day to order contacts. when I showed up Monday at 12:30 (lunch) I was told that doctor smith was gone for the day. I said that's fine I'd like to purchase my contacts at which point I was told I don't think that's a good idea with out seeing the doctor. I told the lady that I was suppose to see him today and was never told to come prior to a time other than what is listed on the door for operating hours. She that's ok you can come back tomorrow; I replied with I took an hour off of work and drove 30 minutes to be here and she said I u destined would you like for me to set up a time to see the doctor tomorrow. I said no please transfer my prescription and she said she wouldn't do that until my evaluation is complete (even though the doctor said I could purchase them after he saw me a week earlier). I asked if I have paid in full and she said yes, I said then why did you charge me if the eval is not complete and she said this just how we do it. I said I have to work to pay for doctors and eye insurance and that I can't come back up here again so please issue me a refund. She issued me $55.25, and never told my why I wasn't given the full amount.

Botched: Dr. Groves read another patient's medical file and…read moreinserted the wrong size implants. Prior to the surgery, I authorized Dr. Groves to implant one of three sizes. I did not authorize him to deviate from the operative plan. During surgery, Dr. Groves reviewed the wrong patient's file. He then inserted a size far different from any authorized size. In the operative note he wrote, "I felt this was the correct size for her." Six days post-surgery, at my first post-op appointment, Dr. Groves acknowledged he had reviewed a different patient's file. His exact words were, "I looked at the wrong note. I looked at the wrong sizes. So, it was all on me." Because of his malpractice, I had to recover from one botched surgery knowing I would have to undergo another surgery and painful recovery. I am happy to discuss my experience with anyone considering undergoing a procedure.

We had put off surgery because we were apprehensive about cataract surgery complicated by glaucoma, especially after previously being given a very discouraging prognosis and being told that my husband was a poor candidate for glaucoma surgery. At his first appointment, Eyesight Associates did extensive testing--far more thorough than anything he had experienced previously. Dr. Gayton was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. He took plenty of time to explain everything and answer our questions, and we left feeling so reassured. Every single staff member we have encountered has been kind, caring, friendly, and helpful. I have seen some reviews complaining about the staff, but that has not been our experience at all. Our visits have also been efficient, and except for the initial visit with all the extensive testing, we've been in and out without long waits. On the days of the surgeries, Dr. Gayton and his staff went above and beyond to keep my husband's eye pressures under control. His post-op care has been excellent as well. Considering how apprehensive we were going into this, we are thrilled and tremendously grateful that everything has gone so well. The results have exceeded our expectations, and my husband is delighted that he can see so much more clearly again! Dr. Gayton is a man of faith, and he truly lives what he believes. I called to verify was the information correct as I feel that as long as regular monthly payments are made that should be sufficient. Whose to say how much a bill will end up being especially at a specialist! As a healthcare professional of 20 years, it saddens me and I been realized a long time ago why people choose not to see doctors. This is added stress to their situation to worry about paying bills sometimes especially within a specific time frame. Healthcare went down years ago. I updated this review for this facility from 1 star to 3 stars because I received a letter a few weeks later from someone who took the time to reach out and that was thoughtful, but I still have yet to go.

First, I got someone on the phone ..no answering service or answering machine. Second, I was able to make a same day appointment. We arrived when we were told to arrive, which was 30 minutes early in order to fill out some paperwork. I think our appointment was delayed due to a late show, but it was not a bother to me since I used to be that way when my life was overscheduled and now it was not. The doctor was very professional, detail oriented, and trustworthy. The staff was very personable. I would highly recommend this office and plan on coming back.

The staff is friendly and helpful, everything was explained adequately. The cost of the procedure was surprisingly low. My only complaint is that an appointment scheduled for a particular time may last for hours, much of the time sitting in the waiting room. I understand that medical procedures can't be precisely scheduled, but there ought to be a way to cut down on the wait time. That said, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Moore and his colleagues to anyone.
