Botched: Dr. Groves read another patient's medical file and inserted the wrong size implants. Prior to the surgery, I authorized Dr. Groves to implant one of three sizes. I did not authorize him to deviate from the operative plan. During surgery, Dr. Groves reviewed the wrong patient's file. He then inserted a size far different from any authorized size. In the operative note he wrote, "I felt this was the correct size for her." Six days post-surgery, at my first post-op appointment, Dr. Groves acknowledged he had reviewed a different patient's file. His exact words were, "I looked at the wrong note. I looked at the wrong sizes. So, it was all on me." Because of his malpractice, I had to recover from one botched surgery knowing I would have to undergo another surgery and painful recovery. Much better now. I was horrified that neither the doctor nor any of his staff was wearing a mask when I last visited them back in the late spring. But everyone is wearing a mask now; it's also nice that the waiting room is large enough to provide for physical distancing. read more

I am new to GA and was a bit worried about where to go for my touch ups. I usually handle my esthetic needs in LA or DC, but have not had the time or opportunity to fly out to either location, so.. I had to cross my fingers and get it done.... After researching several locations, I took a chance on Dr.Groves and his team. I am soooo glad I did. The atmosphere was pleasant, and everyone was very nice. Dr. Groves listened to my saggy face sob story and advised about my esthetic needs without trying to up-sell. He explained in detail how my concerns would be be treated in a conservative way that would benefit me now and in the long run while still keeping me from looking like I'm made of plastic. He was extremely gentle and within minutes I walked out of there with a lot less work done than I was expecting to get , which my facial muscles and wallet are thankful for. Dr Groves does amazing work. He removed a lesion for my son who was only 11 months old and did an amazing job. The scar was healed at 9 days post op. Staff was amazing. Especially his nurse. Easy surgery scheduling process. On time office schedule- never waited at all. I highly recommend this office!! read more
