Hey you guysssssss! We went in on a Friday and it was fairly early still, the drink specials are pretty neat and include Tito's and Prosper Reserve amongst others. Haley was our bar tender and she was super sweet. We had the pretzels, which came out warm and really tasty. We also tried the mushrooms but they weren't a hit. Stopped by at 7 pm for dinner and drinks downtown. Pros: the food/menu was very affordable. The server came by and check in for drinks and food often. There's a "happy hour" menu for drinks and apps. Cons: the drinks came watered down without barely and liquor, and the food was horrible. I ordered a salad, it was a bed of lettuce with a small container of Cesar dressing in a cup. My friend ordered the Cobb salad, same situation but hers came with chicken that smelled like fish. It was some of the worst food I've ever had. Definitely a sports bar for a young crowd-not a bad thing by any means. I brought a crew with me to grab a few drinks and something to eat. Luckily, our waitress was very kind enough to let us put tables together. The only concern was how tight and cramped we all were after-an oversight on our part and no fault of the establishment. Service was consistent, drinks came when it needed to and food did not take very long at all. It is a very loud atmosphere-even at 6pm but it does have several tv's showing sporting events. I was told on the 8th of July that I was not welcomed to the establishment because I was judged intoxicated. Call me crazy, but this is a bar, right? I have bad diabetes. From time to time, my blood glucose jumps or drops drastically with no warning. I'd been at Thrive before coming to Downtown Pourhouse, and all I had was three glasses of white wine. I went back to Thrive again the next day and asked management and the bartenders how my behavior was. They said I was classy, funny, and personable like always, and left a humongous tip. That sounds like me, but I did feel a little strange, so checked my blood sugar in the restroom, and it was creeping around 400. I left Thrive and went to Pourhouse, and while waiting for the bartender I fell out of the blue. It felt like my sugar dropped suddenly from the insulin. Well, I was right. I still was not unruly, rude, boisterous or anything near those characteristics and behaviors. I have a stellar reputation in the downtown Orlando scene and work hard to help people experiencing homelessness as a side job from my Cybersecurity firm. II am pretty professional with my laptop with me at pretty much all times. I never did anything to this bartender. My opinion because I know how it feels. The hairs on my arm and neck tingled because I realized he was definitely a racist. Some people can try and hide it or say they have other black people and don't act that way. But in this case he was a bit of a hater of the way I dress, the money I have, my expensive jewelry, and laptop, etc. This guy does not need to be in the food industry. I called Tuesday the 11th and multiple times during that week. I was told the manager would call me back each time, so I left my information. I didn't receive one phone call. I was about to walk into the restaurant the next Friday after and while walking in immediately saw that bartender, so turned around. Furthermore, I don't like confrontation. It's not who I am. Well, they will lose a lot of business because every restaurant and bar, now knows how they treat people of color based on my experience and my relationships with them all. Too bad the manager didn't call me as at least a courtesy. I pray the Health Department finds a rat running around the dining area and bar. read more

Classic flatbread was the same sauce and cheese. Music is kinda loud, but was playing some pretty good tunes. Ordered buffalo fries that were alright, but not $9.5 alright. Came here last night and we had a BLAST!!! Friday nights are always great at pourhouse. We stop by every time we're downtown on a Friday night. Our favorite bartender Justin is always there and always has a great smile on his face. He's super attentive and really cares about building relationships with the patrons. We've also been here a few times in a much earlier time and ate, the food is actually really good. You would think it would be gross bad food but it's actually really really yummy! The service is always great here. The music is also so good. They play a variety of hits old and new and people are always enjoying the music and dancing. I have been here so many times and I absolutely love this place. It does get very crowded both inside and outside, but the music is always good and the DJs really represent for Orlando! The bartenders are pretty quick and attentive and they always are running some kind a drink special I think on the Bacardi and beers. Only downside is there is one bathroom stall for women and one for men. I can't stay away from the Black and Tan burger, it's like magnetized to me...check this out... I met my 2 girlfriends for lunch and I was trying so hard to go for a burger other than the Black and Tan because ever since I was introduced to it I have ordered only that. Everything else looks so good and I am wanting to try everything so this time, I ordered a different burger: The BBQ! Low and behold, when the burger arrives, it's a Black and Tan. I could not even get mad because it was probaby my fault explaining my love for the Black and Tan to the waitress and the difficulty I was having ordering something other than that so I could not fault her. I wrote this one off to fate and it was delicious of course. The sweet potato fries are just scrumptious too, an overall lovely meal... AT A BAR, who knew? Then I stopped in last week to catch the 2nd half of the Magic game and I found out that they are removing my favorite salad from the menu... The Stuffed Tomato =( So Sad!! Hearing that, I had to have my last go and it was AMAZING! I am so happy a poppin' bar like this serves such fresh food! We attempted to stop in Sunday night before the Magic game to grab dinner but it was PACKED cause everyone was watching the USA/Canada hockey game. We were all really upset that we could not eat there, that is how much we love this place! The ONLY reason I have yet to give this 5 stars... If Yelp had a half star option I would give them 4.5 but they don't so I'll go with 4. My only complaints for not giving them 5 stars is that the menu is so friggin' good that it needs to be bigger. And the place itself needs to be bigger too. That's it. I guess it's not really a complaint when you love the place so much you just want everything about it to be bigger. Great bar with great service, great food and a great happy hour. The place is small and fills up quickly during the week for lunch, so come early or come after the rush. Their menu is the perfect size! 90% of the time I have the roadrunner salad minus the onions. It is by far the best salad you can find downtown, and it is healthy especially if you get the chicken grilled. Their french fies and sweet potatoe fries are also a regular choice of mine. I like to get the sweet potatoe fries but with the spicey sauce that comes with the regular fries. You can't beat their $2 Miller Lite Drafts! Every once in awhile their keg will go down, but they will give you a bottle for the same price. Ladies, you will love this part... there are hooks under the bar for your purses. I met up with some friends during the week at the Pour House's Downtown location this week and my taste buds couldn't have been happier with the choice. The Pour House is a sport bar/pub located on Orange Avenue. Once you walk into the double glass doors you won't be coming out for awhile. The walls are equipped with plenty of TVs so you can experience a comfortable view of whatever game is one regardless of where you're sitting at your table or at the bar. They also had a great mix of music playing while we started off with drinks and dinner. We came hungry and the Pour House was ready to deliver. We decided to split three appetizers between us and there were leftovers to spare. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was the creamiest I've ever tasted and the Fried Pickup Chicken Sticks were great. But don't even get me started on the Shrimp Ignite. Large shrimp deep fried to perfection with a sauce that delivers a surprise kick. The crowd picked up after dinner and the Pour House offered sound during the big game which a must for any sports fan. Consistently fantastic hamburgers and ahh-maze-ing sweet potato fries. This is a great place for carnivores to grab a burger in downtown Orlando. The Black and Tan burger topped with an onion ring, sweet reduced stout glaze, and melted gruyere cheese is outstanding. I've also tried their bleu cheese burger and most recently a triple cheese topped burger. All so good and no shortage of cheese here! It's very decadent. The only consideration on coming here is that there are smaller seating areas in this little restaurant and bar. If you're coming for lunch the peak time towards noon it will be super packed. Come a bit earlier or later to get a table. You can also eat at the bar inside or outside at a couple of tables. The bar area has fast service, but you might end up sitting next to some vocal characters. Overall this place really has the burger and fries game in the bag. Great spot for a drink & to relax. This is a no frills bar downtown where you can escape the wild crazy nightlife. You can watch the game, sit at the bar or bring a group and sit on the high tops. It can get pretty loud inside so I prefer to sit outside. Also a perfect location for people watching! Decent drink specials, tons of options and a kitchen open late night! We walked in with a party of nine during lunch hour not realizing that the kitchen closed from 2 to 5. The owner happened be there and reopened the kitchen for us - so that was a major plus as we were from out of town. Very friendly staff. Wanted to note that the table water was extremely refreshing, and the bathroom was very clean, which is a massive hit or miss at bars I personally got the veggie burger which was cooked with the beyond burger meat. It was incredible and a side of of sweet potato fries. 5/5. It's a really cool little spot that has a good selection of beer. One of my favorite places I've hit in downtown Orlando so far. read more

Drink was nice but food was very lackluster. Wings were outright disgusting and were barely bigger than my thumb. They tasted like they were a frozen entree thawed in the microwave and sauce spooned over. I sent them back and in my 11 years of being with my husband he was surprised as he has never seen me do that. Place needs more help or better trained wait staff. Took long enough to get help and when I did mention the wings were gross there was no care nor offer to get something else. My husband had the voodoo shrimp and said it was pretty bland for being voodoo and was mostly breading and not so much shrimp but also tasted like frozen. We went with our softball team, a group of 10 on a Sunday night. The bartenders hooked up our young guys with drinks which was awesome - everyone loves 5 drinks for $19 (when a single drink was $7). The DJ had some decent music going. Then, when we requested a song, the DJ showed his true colors. He got into a fight with patrons calling them names (b***h, c**t, etc.). Then, as we tried to get everyone out, he continued yelling mean things to more of the group, including mean appearance comments. There was next to no control over him or the bar. The back of the bar smells like dirty bar and vomit, so I was surprised to see that they serve food at times. Staff ignored napkins all over the ground on the floor as they passed by. he bathrooms are filthy. Broken toilet paper holder. Rings in the toilet. Gross. Thanks for the heavy pours and cheap bill, clean up your act. read more

Chris R. and I checked in here last Friday to try the Black & Tan Burger, which we'd heard good things about here on Yelp. I definitely was swayed to go based on these glowing reviews, especially Trey J.'s. We sat at the bar in the mid-afternoon and were immediately served by the bartender, who did a great job of keeping our drinks filled and cold on this hot day. Chris ordered a half sweetened/half unsweetened iced tea, which I also had. I was pleasantly surprised! Never had one of those before, or ever thought to combine the two. Good call, Chris! While the menu had several tempting burgers on it, I had my mind set on the Black & Tan. Chris did, as well, so that's what we ordered. Not long after, our burgers were presented and we dug in. Great burger! The Black & Tan syrup/glaze on it was sweet and had lots of flavor to it, and definitely complimented the burger and bun very well. It was a little sticky and messy, though, so I had to use a lot of napkins. Other than that, I have no complaints whatsoever! I'm glad I got to try this at least once and would consider ordering it again in the future, should I make it back in here. I don't think I enjoyed it quite as much as I do the 420/4:20 Burger at The Crooked Spoon's food truck (well, I don't know if there's any burger I enjoy that much!) or the excellent burgers at the Treehouse Truck and The Hideaway, but it was very good. The rest of the menu looked interesting and the prices seem reasonable. The restaurant is pretty clean, and I was pleasantly surprised again when I walked into the restroom to wash my hands and was greeted by a citrus-y smell. It smelled so good in there, like it'd been cleaned just minutes before. I don't know! Sorry, I'm rambling again. If you're a burger fan, then head on over here and give the Black & Tan a look. If that doesn't do anything for you, then try one of the other ones. There are several on the menu that are sure to interest anyone in search of a great burger. Formerly one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown Orlando. This was the first restaurant I ate at when I first got to Orlando. They have good burgers and beers, but more recently I fell in love with their mozzarella sticks and the wings. Recently, the attention to detail by staff has fallen off. The other day, I called in an order of mozzarella sticks and boneless buffalo wings with ranch dressing for carry out (it took 3-4 phone calls just to get someone on the phone, even though the bar wasn't that busy at the time). I showed up, picked up my order and left. By the time I got back to work and looked at my food, I realized they had given my chicken tenders and blue cheese dressing instead of ranch. I called back and they offered to make another order...telling me it would only take about 15 minutes. To make sure I gave them enough time, I waited 30 minutes. And when I went to pick up my food, it still wasn't ready. I ended up waiting in the restaurant another 15-20 minutes (I'm guessing because they hadn't started my order until I showed up). After the first screw up, getting things right should be a priority. The most frustrating part was watching the server who took my order over the phone take shots at the end of the bar while I waited for my order to fixed.
