For food I got the pulled pork cuban sandwich and their "sidewinder" fries. They were actually wedges with some seasoning in the outside. Not sure what it was but they were great. Cold Beer, Colder Service But I'm Still Glad I came in I love beer. I love local breweries. And I love supporting this industry whenever I can. So on a rare trip downtown (thanks, jury duty), I figured I'd make the most of it and check out this spot. Normally, I avoid downtown because parking is a hassle, but I was already in the area so I went in. The place wasn't too crowded, plenty of seating, and I grabbed a seat at the bar. I tried the Longboat Light and it was really good. Refreshing, clean, and what I needed after a day of courtroom waiting. They do serve food, though I didn't order any. The beer was the highlight here... the service, not so much. The bartender was glued to his phone most of the time, with minimal eye contact and zero small talk which was a shame, because I had a few questions about their brews and rotation schedule. Nice, big airy place for a brewery in DOT, very surprising and impressive... Got here in the late afternoon when it wasn't busy at all and enjoyed our time here. We each drank one of their brews, shared a bit, and had their food to go along with it. I have to say, the beers were named so uniquely that I enjoyed reading them and they tasted delicious. The food was served quickly, hot, and delicious - definitely recommend hitting this place for food. I stopped into Motorworks Brewing while I was waiting for the doors to open for a concert I was attending at the Beacham. It's like a three minute walk from the venue. It's a bit tucked away on the corner so you could easily miss it if you're driving by. Kristy, the bartender was super friendly and let me sample a few beers before settling on the Scotch Ale. The bad thing is I didn't find out about the happy hour special until after I purchased my beer (M-F open to 7pm). I would have gone with $5 beer on the special menu versus the $6.75 I paid for mine. I guess that's partly my fault for not asking but Kristy could have let me know before I placed my order, oh well. Regardless, I was very happy with my beer I had a lot of flavor and was nice and cold. If you're not into beer they do have a variety of liquor available for mixed drinks. This location is not an actual brewery, but they serve beer from their main brewery out of Tampa, FL. Hence why they are able to maintain such a modest footprint in the downtown area. They had a few screens for watching sports and a small kitchen if you're looking for a quick snack. The main store was very clean; however, the men's restroom was a bit of a mess. Plus there is only one stall and one urinal, and the urinal was out of order. While I was here tonight, they were hosting some type of singles meetup event. There was a mediator (match maker) running the event and they were stationed at tables near the main entrance. I guess that's cool to know if you're trying to find that someone special. We arrived on Saturday afternoon around three in the afternoon. There were three other couples sitting at the bar and outside of that the place was completely empty. you have plenty of TVs in the area, which is good for watching college football or any sports really. They have a large selection of beer and overall we do really enjoy their beer selections. My husband often for the Scottish ale which he really enjoyed. I opted for a flight because I always like trying some of the new things though my favorite is the Datil, it's a spicy Porter and has the perfect balance of heat for my liking . Parking can be a challenge in the area because you aren't downtown Orlando there is metered parking around or there is a lot directly behind them. That's $10 a day. The part that was on duty at the time was polite enough, but spend a large majority of the hour so we were there talking to one couple only. read more

We did not get any food from here this visit but they had a good looking menu and from what we saw that others had it looked great. Also if you are not into beer they do have a cider and a bar for mixed drinks like a margarita or old fashioned. While the menu is mainly bar food, none of it is fried, only baked, so it's a bit healthier. There is a decent variety of beers, so my husband was able to enjoy the Yuzu Sunrise lager and I liked the Bizarre Gardening Accident sour, so IPAs were not the only option. It's a smaller place in downtown Orlando; street parking is free on Sunday; and the server was friendly and kind, agreeing to turn down the volume of the TV that was over our heads. I read about Motorworks Brewery winning awards for their beers so I was pleasantly surprised to see that one of their locations was in Orlando. Since we had ample time before the Orlando City game, we decided to check out Motorworks. Quality of drinks and food: for beers, we tried their flagship beer called Pulp Fiction and also their seasonal beer Oktoberfest. Both beers were full of flavor and matched the style of beer. For food we ordered their pretzels appetizer and they came out nice and hot. Décor: okay. There isn't much to look at inside but the place still feels chill and laid back. Cleanliness: good. The bar was being kept clean. Service: good. The bartender let us sample different beers before we settled on one and stayed attentive throughout our time there. Price: typical. Expect to pay around $7 for beers and $10 for appetizers. If you're in the mood for some good beers in downtown Orlando then this is a solid place to go. read more

Never been here before- definitely coming back. They've got beer and shots and drinks. My fiancé had the butter beer shots and we got blueberry cider. The service from the bartenders is phenomenal- very nice for recommendations and what not. Tonight is part of the Halloween bar crawl and it's very fun! Pretty good food. I had a chicken wrap with a side of tater tot's. Both the tater tots in the wrap was pretty fresh. The service and beer here is stellar and I recommend as a spot to hangout for drinks. For a brewery the amount of food choices they have is impressive. I would prefer a paired down menu and they focus on a few options they do well. I was able to try a lot of the menu items and the wings, Cuban Sandwich and hummus were my favorites. Cute brewery right downtown on the corner of Orange Ave and Jefferson Street. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the different types of beers they have on tap. There are 24 craft beers on tap, plus cans and bottles. There is an outdoor patio with a garage door for outside seating and games. Inside you will find tons of televisions for all of your sports needs. I love Curtis Earth trivia so I will travel to different bars/restaurants for him, but Motorworks has a vibrant feel and great menu so we really love coming here!! Our bartender/server was Gio, she was really on point and friendly. This particular day they had two panini sandwiches on special - Steve O's Chicken Parm & The Carattini (a caprese style sandwich with roasted peppers and spinach). Husband and I ordered both and each had half of each sandwich. They were both fantastic! If you come here and these sandwiches aren't available another incredible favorite of mine is the "new monster" grilled cheese. We did order a dessert brownie which I suggest if you need something sweet at the end of your night. Do yourself a favor upgrade to the tater tots which is paired with a really good remoulade sauce! It has been over a year since my last visit and I can honestly say timing is everything. Came again on a Saturday, this time when they first opened. Timing is everything because this time the experience was a lot better. I was literally the only patron on Saturday at noon and I got great service. The BEERS: Adoptable Lager 4.9% ABV... it is definitely drinkable and crushable. This is an all day lager. TropiKolsch 4.9% ABV... it is light, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a kolsch. It is light and fruity. Lavender Ale 6% ABV Scottidh Ale... it has a lavender aroma and taste. Smoot and delicious. This is a STAR! Living Oak Black Lager 5.2% ABV Schwartz beer... I really liked this. It was less malty than I expected, but definitely a solid beer. Mango Habernero IPA 6.9% ABV... smells fruity, but it is holy spicy. It's good. Knitro IPA 6% ABV... I liked the mouth feel and it really smoothed out this West Coast IPA, but I am not really a fan of West Coast. Hyperspace IPA 7% hazy IPA... the only thing which would make this better is if it was a double IPA, more grapefruit or orange rind, but definitely juicy. Solid and great! So suffice to say this visit was better than my last. And while I am in the area I should frequent Motor Works more often. read more

This Brewery was a decent brewery with lots of different beer choices. I'm a huge wheat beer fan but I think the season was too early for that. The beer was good, the place was clean, and the people were friendly. They had indoor and outdoor seating it was pretty empty on a Monday evening. The pretzel sticks with cheese were amazing. The pretzel was light and airy and crispy and chewy and was everything you'd want in a pretzel. Yum! The Portobello Sandwich felt like something they added to the menu to appease the vegan/vegetarian crowd. The mushroom skin was chewy and it really lacked anything that wow'd me. The tots were flavored well, but they were not crispy at all. What?!? How to you fail to make tots crispy? That's why tots exist instead of fries. They stay crispy for a while too. They were disappointing. One of our friends ordered the pulled pork mac n cheese sandwich and thought it was excellent. His tots were pretty much untouched though. Service - 5 Stars - Great crew working here Beer - 4 stars (but I understand it's a preference) Food - 2.5 Stars - I don't think I'd eat here again, and if I did, I'd just get the pretzels. read more

Good beer, friendly people, affordable prices, and a good space. This nice little brewery nestled in the middle of Downtown Orlando checks all the boxes. A fairly extensive menu of rotating brews plus their mainstays. I had the Belgian and it was very good. Sometimes you gotta break the bank for a good Belgian and that wasn't the case here. All the beers on their menu were super well priced, even the more outlandish of the rotating beers. Their outdoor seating area was lovely and there were ample tables. We recently stopped by to pick up a complimentary four pack for a Yelp event and decided to have a couple of drinks and an appetizer while we were there. There was a nice outdoor patio so we chose to sit outside. For our first round we tried the Cruiser and the Hudson Hefeweizen. Both were really good. On our second round, we tried the Bizarre Gardening Accident. I had one with cucumber and rose and my boyfriend tried one with passion fruit and dragon fruit. They were tasty and refreshing! We had an order of pretzel sticks with beer cheese which was also good. All of the team members were friendly. The gentleman taking care of us outside even set up an umbrella when the sun was getting a little intense which was much appreciated. My only complaint was that service seemed a bit slow considering it wasn't very busy during the time we were there, but there may have been other factors I wasn't aware of. We weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, it's a nice local spot and I'd return to have some more beers in the future. I'm not really a downtown person, but I do find my self there every couple of weekends. I love to stop in here when I can, there is a little something for everyone, wether you want a flight, 0r food, or nice outside seating. They have it all. There is a great beer selection, the bartender will help you find the right thing. Food, I've tried almost everything, if you're having a couple of beers or a cocktail, it's going to be just fine. I tasted the Imperial chocolate Porter with Datil chili peppers. I didn't pay attention to the "chili peppers". I guess I was thinking of New Mexico Hatch chili peppers. Yeow! That is spicy HOT! Nope for me. Sampled the Living Oak Black Lager. It was a good dark beer that is smooth "Variant of Munich Dunkel", but I was hunting a Porter. Did not try the Midnight Delight; I do not like Bourbon barrel infusion. That's just me. I went with the Midnight Espresso. This is a good Porter. I was hoping for a little stronger coffee note. It is a very good beer with a note of coffee. Not just a beer where they mix with coffee. I gave it a 4.5 on the Untappd beer app. No one has yet to get a 5.0. read more

The food is great Brewery food. My son enjoyed his cheese flat bread. The pulled pork cuban was okay (wish it was on cuban bread) but the honey mustard chicken wrap was delicious! The tots were a great up charge although there is something about bbq kettle chips that is also yum. The server we had was AWESOME! He was very attentive and kind. He was also great with my son. They have a normal sports bar feeling inside but a few tables outside. I liked sitting outside but do expect some downtown orlando characters on occasion to walk by. What could've easily been a 1 star review turned into 4 star based on the Managers handling of a tough situation. We came here with another couple and ordered some drinks (BTW their beer is really good, loved their New England IPA, I forget the name but it was very tasty). Everything was good, we ordered some food and the other couples came out right away and we were waiting and waiting and waiting. Asked both waitresses what's going on, got no where. Finally went to the window where the food comes out and the guy working back there says it'll be right out. Go back to sit down and the manager comes over and explains that they just had 2 people in the kitchen quit and they were slammed with food orders. He apologized and handled the situation very well. Where you receive a flight of their core beers, souvenir pint glass, empty 64oz growler to go and $5 off growler fill (day of only). My second and third time I just grabbed a few beers on the fly. Each time I didn't find one beer that I thought WOW this is pretty good! and I hate to say it but they were all just pretty average. This is a great brewery option in downtown Orlando. The decor is awesome and it's a spot on downtown vibe. An awesome place to start your night out with happy hour, which is what I went for. The core beers (there are 6) are $4 a pint from 4-7, along with several half priced appetizers. A friend and I split a flight, and the standout beer was Pulp Friction, a grapefruit IPA that is such a delight. Some of the beers are a bit odd - the fruited kolsch is more like a sour and some of the sours aren't very sour, but overall an excellent selection with something for everyone! The food was average bar food, nothing special. The chicken skewers could have used a glaze of some sort and the ranch pairing seemed off. The tacos were ok, with the mushroom taco being the best option. I would be interested to try the entrees another time. Overall, I'll definitely be back because you can't try all the beers in one sitting and there were so many more options calling my name. read more

Great customer service and great selection of beers to please any palate. I was only in there to pick up a four pack to-go, but the bartenders were very friendly and welcoming. While I waited for them to grab my beer, I even got a small taster of their carrot cake brown ale on tap. Creative and tasty take on a dessert brown ale. I drank the Vienna Lager when I got home and it was delicious! I'm usually wary of beers in a can but this held up lots of flavor.
