I was charged $69 (like the last tier) for a basic trim, which felt steep given how quick and straightforward the service was (no shampoo, no blowdry, dry cut) especially with tip added on top. While I understand salon services can be expensive, this particular haircut didn't feel worth the cost to me. Because of that, I don't think I'll be returning, even though the atmosphere and staff were nice.

I went there yesterday for my first time and was blown away by the amazing customer service; from the receptionist, to the other stylists who greeted me and then I met Allie who was my stylist. I have never met such a warm, caring and professional stylist in my life. we spoke at length to make sure she could envision exactly what I wanted, she talked me through the whole process and her fellow stylist, Nicole whose booth is next to us even helped out for a bit. Gina, is the reason I will never return that along with the fact that the owner, Tom has not responded to the 5 calls Ive made. She butchered my hair to the point of me being in tears in the chair. I asked what she was doing and she abruptly stopped and walked away getting another sytlist. No remorse, no apology. Ive never experienced a salon visit like this especially from Salon Voss. The salon has gone down hill and the customer service is horid. Not sure what happened to the great stylists they once had! I used to refer everyone there, never again.

I had also asked for it to be straight and she ended up putting curls in that didn't even hold. When I reached the counter, I caught a better glimpse of myself (the chair I was in was so low to the ground I could only see what was above my chin,) and had to ask her to do the curls again and add a LOT of hairspray, because it was not going to hold by the time I reached my event and it was blisteringly hot and humid outside. I was right. Even with the hair spray and the second time around curls, by the time I reached the event I looked like a hot mess and just ended up tying up my hair up. I'm sure there are skilled professionals here, and maybe any other day and with someone else I might have had more luck, but sadly I will not be coming back here. 3.5 stars generously rounded up for the benefit of the doubt.

Naysa asked me to come in for a strand test to make sure that the Keratin treatment would take and not do any further damage to my hair.
