Lovely shop. They have a giant selection of many great things. All products are made in house.. the bath bombs are giant for $8 and smell amazing, I can't wait to use mine! They also have lotions, teas, pre rolled CBD, incense, elixirs, etc.

Discovered this amazing hidden gem! Store has a large variety of herbs for teas, infusions, tinctures etc., lots of essential oils, natural soaps and body butters and yummy coffee! This is a cozy quaint shop that I will definitely frequent.

The Grand opening for this apothecary was this evening! First 25 customers got a free gift of CBD oil! The employees were very nice, but i did dick one star just because a lot of items didn't have prices on them. I'm sure I'll end up updating my review to make it five stars, as this was their first evening being open! The establishment is minority owned, so that's a bonus to not only support small businesses, but also a minority and female owned place! The apothecary has tons of CBD items, oils, bath bombs, candies, beverages; some metaphysical items like healing crystals, dried (or fake, i couldn't tell) flowers, candles, an assortment of sage wands, teas, strainers, mugs and snacks! They will arisen be having a cafe on the coming months, as well! Everyone was super nice and tried to help as best as they could. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely be coming back!

    Broken bracelet

I bought a bracelet from here and in less than 48 hrs it randomly broke. The string just snapped while I was walking. This was so upsetting because I live almost two hours away and cannot easily get back to the store.

I have no idea what that means, but they have good sandwiches. What to get: A Prosciutto sandwich with Fresh Mozzarella added, maybe What else: Expect an upcharge to add Fresh Mozz How to improve: Don't upcharge so much for Fresh Mozz (sigh) Nick's is a little run-down grocery store which sort-of feels like walking into a check-cashing shop or an urban convenience store that just happens to have a wonderful old-school NY-NJ style Italian deli inside. The deli itself is great, and makes a lot of awesome sandwiches for decent prices. As I said, I don't like the weird upcharges for certain ingredients, but so be it. It makes the prices of a sandwich soar from decent to ridiculous. The sandwiches aren't altogether authentic Italian NY-NJ style, but they are very good. I loved the parts of it that I had fresh, however when I had the rest of the sandwich a little later it had gotten extremely squidgy and soggy because they use a regular loaf of bread rather than anythng hard or Italian. Again, makes it less authentic but still very tasty. Despite these remarks, I haven't had a sandwich this good in the Richmond area before, so you should give it a try. And if it were Niche Produce, then they'd only sell unusual and hard to get hipster vegetables and sandwiches. Whereas if it wer Nix Produce, it would close down soon. And if it were Knickers Produce then I would have torn them down a lot more quickly and intensely than I did in this review.

Oh, and the décor is very nice! I personally really like the Earl Grey Spring & Mulberry date-sweetened chocolate. Of course, the packaging is so pretty it's hard to separate that from the taste and texture, too .... The honeys here are like none other I've had before! The absolute cutest little honey bears I've ever seen! There's one raw honey in a glass jar that's the only chewy honey I've ever tasted -- what a treat to eat a spoonful of that plain, direct from the jar, mmm! (I didn't just eat it for the taste or texture, though -- I started to eat it because I'd read about the great health benefits of honey!) I really really enjoy the smokiness of the Russian Caravan. Plus, it's fun to research, read and find out about such things as how this rather unique tea flavour came about -- that it was the result of actual campfire smoke flavouring the tea in the first place while travelling across Russia way-back-when that is now encapsulated in this oh-so-tasty tea! Tea is a really great gateway to learning about various cultures and world history! Maybe it's his-tea-ry! Persian Rose Garden tea is splendid -- mellow and rich, smooth, calming (I'm not saying it's medicinally calming, but rather that it's evocative of a certain atmosphere that may make you feel a certain way if you tune into it.) Turmeric ginger is very nice, too .... Overall, aesthetically beautiful, palate-pleasing place! Highly recommended!

All the looseleaf teas are made in-house by master tea-blenders who are constantly creating. The story of how I came to know about Shafa is pretty funny. A relative was sick and drinking some of the Shafa Blends' teas as a way to recover from a serious illness. I secretly doubted this would be of much benefit. However, to commiserate with him, I had a cup of their turmeric/ginger tea. And, don't you know, I felt better--and wasn't even the ailing person! So, now, I'm a believer. I like their Superior Earl Grey tea; the bergamot component is marvelous. There are other Earl Grey combinations, too. The rooibos is nice. And I can vouch for the fact that their teas keep their intensity long after purchase.
