Don't go to this place. I was treated like trash. I'm special needs and ask for a combinations. I had retina Detachment surgery & I cannot see that well . front desk denied me help. Told me I had to use my phone create an account. I said!! No stop. Please help me. The Black Man TOLD ME!! GET WITH THE TIMES!! office staff. 15mins arguing with the staff. I finally a nurse helped me. She hear all the arguing from the back office After the x-ray & cleaning. $4250. Fix my teeth WTF. I don't have that kind of money. I owe $7,000 medical bills and surgery eye. I reported what happened internal review. & went back for emergency. Executive told me they have to retrain their staff. I did not receive any apology or any written statement after asking for 2nd visit. Never Again. 2024 I can't believe I was discriminated against. Elderly and people with disabilities should not be treated this way.

The office came highly recommended by a coworker of mine. I had some dental health concerns, and I made an appointment. Upon arrival for my appointment, I waited in the waiting area for a few minutes while the front desk person attempted to help the patient in front of me. Unfortunately, I could not help but over hear the conversation between the patient in front of me and the front desk man. The gentleman in a wheelchair was asking the front desk person several questions about insurance and what they had been charged, etc. It was immediately apparent that the man at the front desk was extremely frustrated with the line of questioning from the patient. After a few minutes of attempting to find the answer to his questions, the patient was told by the man at the front desk that it was obvious that he was attempting to blame the office instead of the insurance company. Having shown up as a new patient, I can assure you I was shocked by this statement. I even took a photo of the of them at this moment, thinking that this approach from the employee was completely out of line. Shortly after, a young lady who was at the front desk said that she didn't normally work the front counter, but that she would get me checked in, and she did. I was shown a room and had a seat. The technician was wonderful and the doctor was wonderful. He proposed a plan of care and said that someone from the front desk would be in shortly to present a quote for the services. Jonathan came in from the front desk. He was the employee who was dealing with the patient in front of me upon my arrival. He quickly went over the proposal, and we agreed that I would do a deep cleaning same day and I would return for future services. The technician that did my deep cleaning was fantastic. When I was done, I was directed to the exit. I had an appointment scheduled with the Periodontist the following week. 3 days prior to this appointment for consultation with the Periodontist, I called the office to find out what I would need for this appointment. As this was a consultation with the Periodontist, I was fairly certain that I wasn't going to need much other than myself. Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of speaking with Jonathan again. I asked to verify what I would need to bring to the appointment I had scheduled. He asked me several times what I meant by "What do I need to bring?" I figured it was pretty obvious I was asking what the appointment was going to cost. Was there a copay, etc. He put me on hold for a few minutes and came back on the line and said I would need $1,300. He said the appointment was not for a consultation but for an actual procedure, to which I said I'm sorry that's not going to work because I will not have the funds for that. I told him that I needed to check something, and I would call back shortly to cancel the appointment, to which I did. I then asked him to send me the quote that he presented to me when I first arrived. He said sure he would email it shortly. I waited several hours and called back because I had not received it. I spoke with a young lady who apologized and said that those types of emails are only sent at the end of the day. I waited until the next day and still had not received the requested document. I sent a request using Smile Generation through mychart for the document again. 7 Days Later and I still had not received the document. I called today and unfortunately had to speak with Jonathan again. I explained my situation again, and I asked what the delay was in sending the document, and with the most insulting aggressive attitude, he said I'll send it in a minute. I asked him why it was not sent last week and why there was no response on my Smile Generation MyChart account, and he said, "I said I'll send it in a minute!" I began to tell him that I had witnessed how he had treated a patient in front of me in line when I first arrived and he loudly yelled at me to hold, and placed me on hold. Several minutes later, the call was picked up by Elena, who merely just picked up a call on hold and knew nothing about the situation. After explaining myself, she apologized and was able to assist. Unfortunately, the document that I received is not the document that I was presented in the chair when I first went. I am sure this can be rectified. I will not subject myself to poor treatment from Jonathan again. I have canceled all future appointments because of Jonathan and will be finding a new provider.

This is what a15 minute visit will run you. 88 bucks to tell me to floss more.

Over that time, Dr. Brian Mananquil and the entire Bella Vita Dental team have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure every concern I've had was addressed with patience, transparency, and genuine care. My treatment has been pretty extensive, to say the least. Dr. Brian has handled everything from implants and sinus lifts to numerous rounds of Invisalign and refinements, along with all of my general fillings, crowns, and other dental work. You name it--I've probably had to get it done; my teeth needed the whole kitchen sink. Throughout the entire process, he has always taken the time to clearly explain my options, answer every question I had, and make adjustments whenever I wanted to explore different approaches. I never once felt rushed or dismissed, which is incredibly important when you're making decisions about major dental work. What stands out most is how accommodating and patient he has been. Even when I've been very detail-oriented about my results, he's always been willing to work with me to get things exactly right. That level of commitment and professionalism is rare. The office is also consistently well-run, the staff is friendly and organized, and appointments are handled smoothly. If you're looking for a dentist or orthodontist who is skilled, thoughtful, and truly invested in achieving the best outcome for their patients, I can't recommend Dr. Brian enough. After five years of complex treatment, I'm extremely grateful I chose this practice.

At my last cleaning, I was repeatedly pushed toward a deep cleaning I didn't want or need. It took three firm "no" responses before the receptionist finally dropped it. I went into my most recent appointment already hesitant, and to no surprise, the same thing happened again. This time, I confronted them about it and ultimately walked out without receiving the cleaning I scheduled. Their entire process seems to have been reversed. What used to be: X-rays cleaning recommendations has become: X-rays gum measurements a sales pitch for $3,000+ worth of treatment pressure to commit before receiving the service you came in for. After I told the receptionist I simply wanted the cleaning I had scheduled, the hygienist came in and immediately asked, "What's your hesitation?" That felt less like patient care and more like a sales tactic. When I voluntarily schedule and pay for a dental appointment, I expect to receive the service I came for - not a high-pressure sales pitch. I will not be returning, and I will not be recommending Bella Vita. What was once a practice with great service and kind people now feels more like a dental dealership focused on upselling before patient care. It's a shame. You had something good, and you squandered it.

About two months ago, I had a crown done that I definitely needed. Before the procedure, the only risk discussed was the possibility of needing a root canal because the decay was close to the nerve. I wish there had been a more thorough conversation about the crown process and potential complications beforehand. During the crown prep, I was surprised at how quickly Dr. Qadeer worked. I assumed maybe he was just very experienced, but in hindsight I think the procedure may have been rushed. Two weeks later, I still had pain and inflamed gums when I went in for the permanent crown. I was given a mouthwash that helped, the crown was placed, and I was told everything looked fine. About a month later, I returned for a cleaning and called ahead to say I was still having pain and wanted the tooth checked again. After another X-ray, Dr. Qadeer told me I needed surgery to lengthen the bone because the crown was not sealed correctly. I was shocked. He then claimed this had been discussed beforehand, which it had not, and said he hadn't mentioned it earlier because he wasn't sure until seeing the new X-ray. Quadeer blamed my anatomy not his work for the issue. He later offered to redo the crown at no cost. I reached out to two close friends from college who are dentists -- one an endodontist and one a general dentist who does crowns regularly. Both felt the tooth was likely a difficult case but that surgery sounded excessive. They also pointed out that the issue on the X-ray was already visible when the crown was originally cemented. We decided I should see an endodontist they recommended and trusted. He performed the root canal and prepared the tooth for a replacement crown, since doing additional work on the original crown would likely continue irritating the tooth. I then returned to Dr. Qadeer to redo the crown. During that visit, he still would not take accountability for what happened. He repeatedly said he didn't want to work on my tooth if I didn't trust him, which made the interaction uncomfortable. How could I fully trust him at this point? My permanent crown was delivered this week, and my dentist friends said it looks perfect. I do think Dr. Qadeer is capable of good work. My issue is more with how this situation was handled. If he had simply acknowledged it was a difficult case and said the crown needed to be redone, I would have understood. Instead, the responsibility was consistently shifted to my anatomy or to "not seeing it" earlier. Dentistry requires a great deal of trust, and once that trust is lost, it's hard to regain. I appreciate that he offered to redo the crown at no cost, but overall I left disappointed. My impression is that he prioritizes quantity over quality and that can become a problem when a case requires more time and attention.

Once I switched for Fifth Avenue to be my main dentist office, I was persuaded that my old crown was pushing on my gums creating bleeding. I was told I needed to remove an old crown and swap it out for this modern crown they offer. Honestly, I did not have any discomfort with my gums and crown has been there for over 10 years, but doctor was insistent it needed to be changed, so I obliged. Surely enough, this "new" and "much needed" crown breaks IN HALF two years later. So much for my terrible old crown that actually lasted 10 years. I got back to the office to fix my half broken crown that they installed and was informed that my insurance would not be covering this expense due to very little time lapsed. And office's warranty is only a year. So they attempted to charge me almost $1,000 out of pocket for SOMETHING THEY MESSED UP. I declined this and mentioned that I do not believe it was fair and they dropped the price to $400. I fully understand if I go to any other office, my insurance won't cover the expense because this unprofessional office exhausted my insurance so I did not have much choices here (unless I wanted to walk around with half broken tooth). I still do not believe what they did to me is fair and would love to see the refund for the terrible job they have done at the first place. Oh and on top of that doctor was 40 minutes late for the appointment and I spent over 2.5hours just to get a temporary crown done. Come on guys

All of a sudden I have horrible gum disease I never thought I had. The lady giving me a "dental plan" of $2000+ after insurance was telling me of how many state of the art laser interrogations I needed that insurance wouldn't cover at all. Fast forward to my dental cleaning. Btw I have to pay out of pocket a significant amount bc "I have gum disease now". They numbed me up so bad I couldn't go back into work.
