From the convenience of my home, I've accessed a plethora of high-quality fitness classes, ranging from yoga to peloton, to body pump, all led by knowledgeable instructors. The virtual platform is user-friendly, making it easy to join classes and connect with other members virtually. Despite being miles away from the physical location, I feel a sense of community and support. The Virtual YMCA has truly revolutionized my fitness routine, offering flexibility and variety like never before. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay active and connected from the comfort of their own home! Service and safe environment. The jacuzzi is clean and cozy. There's also a dry sauna. My friend and I just walked out of this YMCA location because of how rude & discriminative the guy who is working at the front desk today. I am a black male and my friend is not. As soon as we walked inside the guy ONLY acknowledged my friend, never saying anything to me. I was curious about the size of the gym so I asked the gentleman were there more floors. He goes on to direct his attention towards my friend to answer the question I asked him. He doesn't even acknowledge again. We were going to each pay $10 for a day pass but I was not going to give an asshole like that my money. And, whomever oversees that gym should reconsider that gentleman's future employment there. I am sure that kind of behavior is not what the YMCA stands for. read more

Hidden "gym" of Tulsa Downtown... Thanks for an amazing space with great, clean and organized equipment. The two ladies at the front desk were very welcoming (especially appreciated in this crazy post COVID world). Had no issues working out in the smaller space with about 10 others in the facility. Equipment is nicely placed for adequate room to spread out but not cluttered at all. Nice functional fitness and TRX space up front that I almost missed. Thank you YMCA, thank you Tulsa! This gym is perfect for anyone trying to get away from prying eyes and the uncomfortable awkwardness that can come with a trip to the gym. I have social anxiety and this gym is perfect. I usually come from 2:30-4:00 and it's DEAD. The upstairs cardio room has never had more than two other people in it. The hot tub is usually empty which is great for me. My only complaint is that there's like two staff members in the whole gym. That might just be because of what time I go. But it's a little eerie. I've never been in the dressing room at the same time as another woman. It's almost concerning but it's perfect because I'm not a big gym people fan. My only other concern is that I have to pay for parking (being that it is downtown.) But that's not something they can really control. Overall it's quiet, clean, and social anxiety friendly. read more

This location is pretty fancy. From 1st glance it looks average but once you go downstairs its a whole other ballgame. There were several rooms for classes and a hot tub! Yassss with sauna too! They have friendly class times for people to enjoy on lunch breaks quickly while going in and out from work. Parking is an issue especially during the busy times like lunch. read more

I love this gym. It's small and efficient and I've never had any problems or uncomfortable feelings while coming here. It's a really clean facility and the workers are always nice. The Downtown YMCA is a great place to go work out right before/after work! It is newly remodeled and very clean. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The man at the front desk offered a free week since I am not a member. However, I do not think I will be joining. However, there are some downsides. Due to its central downtown location, the only parking is on the street and sometimes it can be difficult to find a spot. Also, I felt somewhat uneasy walking by myself to and from my car. The gym is very small. My friend and I were trying to to lunges and always felt like we were everyone's way. There are not a lot of machines due to the amount of space; someone was always waiting on you or vice versa. Overall, very clean, new gym. But, they could use some more space and machines. If in a bind, this is a great place to work out in downtown Tulsa. read more

The downtown YMCA is a great place to get your fitness on. This is a newer YMCA and has lots of great amenities - full array of newer equipment, tvs on individual treadmills, fitness classes (sometimes they'll even host pilates on the roof), a big pool, etc. Also the location is great for post work-workouts as it's right in the middle of downtown. However, the Y does have really crazy hours - only open till 8p on weekdays, till 1p on Saturday and from 1p - 5p on Sundays. So, if you work late or like to relax a bit before you hit the gym, unfortunately the hours might not work for you.... for me, they serve as my excuse on days that I don't feel like working out. read more
