To begin, if you don't know, this gym's members lean toward the affluent. You can see the evidence examining the parked cars, the spectrum of services typically offered at a country club, and the what I call "the new shoe parade" (adults over 40 wearing the most trendy athletic shoes). Glaring discrepancies: - the men's bathroom stalls don't stay locked efficiently and have a peek-a-poo gap you can use both eyes to see through. They'll spend money on fake plants, yet won't fix what's needed (this applies to other issues as well) - so far this summer, the outside "hot tub" is either disgusting, jets don't work, flooded with kids under 12 (there's a rule against that), or it's closed off - when it's busy, you'd swear no one in the greater Tulsa area is going to any other gym at that moment - it's succumb to the "Premium" disease. Some things you can't do unless you pay more - and a general membership is already pricey - if you want to play pickleball - good luck. They change the schedule of when the courts are available for whatever types of players. If it's free play, you might end up waiting awhile before you play again. There's only 3 courts. That's all for now. I'm sure there's other issues. Those are just from my lens. Two stars simply because it has so many services. Think "Costco" of gyms. Used to be an outstanding place to work out, but over the last few months the quality has declined significantly. Started by making the lap pool unavailable in the afternoons. They have allowed a swim team to occupy EVERY SINGLE LANE. I was told this was temporary and they would be done with the pool by January. It is now February and they are still here. There has been no mention of this on the club schedule. Then there's the state of the equipment. There's been a lot of equipment down for repairs. There has also been a lot of torn padding. Broken mirror in the locker room that took almost 2 weeks to fix. Sauna that's down almost 2weeks out of every month All of this and no ACTUAL club manager. Email left unanswered. For what they charge there should be more attention and accountability. read more

They offer parents night out every weekend and the staffs are very friendly. We go to swimming pool twice a week which pays off the membership itself. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Yoga instructors are very good as well. read more

The good is the place is clean. The bad is the music on the gym floor is so loud you cant hear your own music in your airpods, teenagers generally causing issues in the locker rooms. The prices have gone up two times since 2022. They are wanting a signature club but if they are going to charge these types of prices. I should at least hear my own music and not have to deal with brat teenagers. They are always holding some type of crossfit class on the main workout floor that blasts music and takes up space on the equipment. This class needs to be in its own studio where they can lift and prance around with each other in private, while not taking up space and blasting obnoxious music to be the main attraction the gym floor. I mean the music is so damn loud you can't hear with headphones in. But i pay a Hefty premium price for this experience? In the summer months this place turns into the south tulsa day care center for teenagers. Trust me, if you don't believe it. Just take a visit when school is out. This place encourages teenagers come here for "safe environment". Im curious if those teenagers are the ones paying the memberships and keeping this place running? Or is it the adults that pay the bills and their salaries? They keep increasing prices. However, there is a signature gym coming soon to south Tulsa where these issues will not be the concern. Just wait until summer of 2026. When they break ground for it. This place will be left to its teenage patrons. We will see if that keeps their bills and lights on. read more

Beautiful gym but not for me. I am a senior and I want to have peace when I work out. Oftentimes I am told that I need to get off the equipment that I am using as they have a class. ??!! That was never mentioned when I signed up. Now, the classes are intense sessions and they play LOUD music. And it doesn't matter if everyone else there hates the music, they have no say. We are forced to listen to the pounding. When I went to complain to the front desk the woman literally just stared at me as I expalined. No smile, no empathy, no understanding. I felt like she was invalidating my concerns. She said that I should consider getting earplugs ( which, as we all know, will not eliminate the sound) or getting headphones to listen to what I want. Uh, I want NO music. It is a beautiful place and my son goes every day and loves it, it just wasn't a good fit for me. read more

Full scale gym with newly renovated weight-room floor. Towels are provided and the classes are top notch with motivating and knowledgeable instructors. Would love to see another one in mid-town! I have tried a few other gyms in Tulsa, and although not perfect, nothing compares to lifetime. read more

One cool thing about Lifetime is their spa located inside the gym. Inside, there's a nail salon, hair salon, and massage and facial rooms. Prices for all of the services are reasonable/not extremely insane. When you first join Lifetime, you are also given a coupon for a certain amount off of certain services. Appointments are easy to make and it seems like they usually have a lot of openings, so you don't have to book weeks ahead for a service. The rooms for massages were nice and relaxing - you had no idea there was a noisy pool on the other side of the wall. I got a massage yesterday from James. It was awesome. He started out the session with reflexology to look for any problem areas. The rest of the massage was your typical massage mixed with active release technique, which requires you to move in certain ways as the massage therapist manipulates certain areas/joints. Overall, it was a really fun (yes, I used the word "fun" to describe a massage) massage. He listened to my problem areas and worked on them and used the right amount of pressure. If you are looking for great spin/cycle classes in Tulsa, this is THE place! I researched spin classes everywhere in Tulsa, especially ones that were dark inside, but options were limited. I decided to take a trial class at Lifetime before joining and LOVED it! I'm used to Ride House in Dallas, which is the best cycle place I've ever found. Lifetime's spin classes with Megan E. rival it for sure! She is one of the best spin instructors! Megan is extremely good at timing all exercises and verbal instructions with the beat of the music. Her music keeps you pumped up all throughout class and makes it fun while you work hard. I've been to other instructors' classes who use a mix of 80s and 90s mash-ups, but I don't stay as motivated in them as I do in Megan's classes. Her music makes you want to go dance at the club, so you use all of your energy on the bike. You will get a solid workout from all of the spin instructors, you just need to try each one to see who fits your style best. Megan keeps her classes dark, which I also LOVE. It helps you focus only on you to make the most out of your exercise time. Her classes are mostly full, so I always arrive 15 minutes early to grab a bike on the back row. Lastly, there is always a mix of ages and sizes in her spin classes, so don't be afraid to try it if you love spin. I promise you won't be disappointed! Outside of spin, I've used Lifetime's elliptical machines, which are top notch with individual TV screens. The Life Cafe has yummy protein smoothies made-to-order and other snacks when needed. I like that they carry Quest bars, which are the best protein bars! The lockers are very secure since you use a 4 digit passcode, so it's nice to put everything up and go workout with ease. The steam room is perfect for post-workout relaxation too! I pay $85-86/month for an individual Gold membership, which I expected, because at the Dallas Diamond level gym, it's much more. The Tulsa location is a Gold level gym, but it is MUCH nicer than the Dallas Diamond gym. It's worth it just for the classes to me! read more

My family tried this gym on a free pass. We were shocked to say the least! Some of the exercise equipment didn't work. The bathroom was the worst! The smell was horrible and unbearable. I love this gym. I'm a bigger girl due to health issues - insulin resistance, hormones and low thyroid. But I have never felt like I was judged here for that. I've slowly lost 10lbs with diet change and coming to their yoga classes and barbell class. Plus, cardio and some light weight training. I love all the morning yoga instructors; Trish, Jeana & Kristi. They are all so nice and so kind, I feel so welcomed and at peace when I go to yoga. Even during heated yoga where most everyone is super fit, I feel like I belong and that I am not being judged. I love the gym and feeling so welcomed has made me love going. It's my favorite time of the day, the few days a week that I have been going. It's so nice to feel like I can finally make the change for my health because the facilities are clean, the staff are extremely nice & the classes are so helpful when you can't afford the extra cost of personal training. read more

I have been to the following LT facilities; Tempe, AZ and Fulton Maryland. So when I went to swim Friday early and Spin Saturday early am. I found the facilities very clean and the staff I interacted with very friendly and helpful. I was people watching during my 2.5 hour spin and was impressed by the instructors doing the kettlebell. She is one strong lady . Anyway the Mens showers were clean and highly recommend this for workouts as preparing for my third Ironman on my 53 birthday. read more

They say you get what you pay for, but man if getting what I paid for includes demeaning management, nasty bathrooms, and a toxic environment for my kids, I would rather not. The treatment that I've seen this summer by just laying out by the pool daily is devastating. To the kids academy team yelling at each other in front of children, to the cafe being ran in such poor conditions that I witnessed an employee almost faint by the outdoor bistro when it was 110 outside without much help from the management, to being treated like I was stupid when there was a pool remodel happening from both the general manager and the former front desk manager, is disgusting. I tried to stay until after the remodel was completed in hopes the stress would dwindle and the peppy environment would come back, but it seems to just get worse. My only gripes are shower water pressure and the fact that it's not a residential Lifetime because I would live there if I could. The staff are now friends. The service is positive, patience and perfection. Always greeted with a smile and Todd never misses a chance to high five me just for showing up. The cleanliness is beyond typical. Ahhhhh...Lifetime Fitness...where you pay people to kill you. haha All joking aside, I absolutely love this gym! I just rejoined it after a hiatus during back surgery. I currently hold two memberships; Planet Fitness and Lifetime Fitness. Is it expensive? Sure, it can be...but I'm sorry, I feel that I'm worth $80.00 a month to live. See...Lifetime is like it's own village, with all walks of life with a common goal; their health. I am a big girl, mostly due to hormones. NEVER have I ever felt judged there...not even in barbell strength class or yoga...where most of those people don't even look like they need a gym. I actually had a yoga member approach me on their Facebook page and encourage me to come back to the class. Now, weights are weights. But, they set the machines up circuit style. There are MANY cardio machines and free weights as well. There is an area to meet with a trainer, a basketball court, rock wall, child care, two swimming pools, bike classes, and on and on. I will eventually drop my planet fitness membership and exclusively be a lifetime girl for good. It is worth the investment for all of the choices you have to keep yourself healthy. Oh...one last thing...it has TOWEL service! No more bringing 5 towels to the gym for sweat and drying off. They also have hair spray and spray deodorant in the ladies locker room, and complimentary one blade razors and shaving cream to use. And a dry and wet sauna. Just come try it! read more

Gosh this is such a hard review update. Is Life Time still magical? Totally. It's massive mansion-like building and top amenities/machines are still prime (see previous review.) Why the knock down? Welp, my car was broken into here while I was working out. On a Saturday afternoon. They got away stealing some pretty valuable things from me. Yes, I know not to leave such things in the car but I literally went to my car after the workout, put down some stuff in it and went back in to grab something from the front desk. In those 4 minutes, my window was smashed in. After alerting the front desk, I learned I was not the only one targeted... several cars across the lot were broken int to. Enough of my sap story: bottom line - there was not a real effort made by the management to work with the authorities to remedy. An officer told me that this had happened several times before. I pay a lot of money to go to this gym and no kind of apology or follow up for the situation was given. Is LT still a pristine gym? Yes. Did I cancel my membership? Sadly, yes. read more

Problem: I split my time between Houston, TX and Tulsa, OK. From the Cinco Ranch location, I purchased hundreds of dollars worth of Pilates sessions (personal and group) that are going unused because my schedule does not mesh well with the Pilates instructor in Tulsa. What I want is to convert those Pilates sessions that I bought in Houston into personal training sessions that I can use in Tulsa. It's the same company with the same computer system, what's the problem? What I have tried doing: I have called Tyler, business manager, from the Tulsa club weekly (Since May) trying to get this resolved. So far, all he has done is switch my primary membership to the Tulsa club. That's it. I leave messages for him and he never calls back. I have been calling the Cinco Ranch, TX club since Thursday of last week. I spoke with Chris, assistant personal training manager and he promised to speak with Zach his manager. Nothing has been done and he has not been returning my calls. Awesome. What is most frustrating is that every time I call, I get a helpful person who says they are going to fix it for me which makes me feel so hopeful; and then nothing gets done. If you're planned on ripping me off and keeping my money, just say that. Don't tell me you're going to address the issue and then not do it. Transfer my sessions or refund my money. 24 Hour Fitness was not as fancy of a gym as Lifetime Fitness, but they had far better customer service. When I split my time between Houston, TX and Phoenix, AZ and I had this problem, I was able to use training sessions I purchased at the 24 in Houston at the 24 in Phoenix. read more

Front desk manager is arrogant and strange following me and recording me with the sign in i pad even though Lifetime has cameras every where because I used a guest pass for a swim instructor before I understood it is against their policy. Seems like he has issues with women. I had permission from another customer service employee to use my guest pass for my swim instructor. Their employees need to be better trained so misinformation isn't spread. Parking lot has some issues. Stolen cars and occasional break ins. The atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for when I joined. I now look forward to working out, which is a big factor in staying consistent. I've been to multiple gyms in the past and they are either too crowded, too grungy or they don't have the right amenities, but LifeTime has everything you could ask for and more. One of my favorite features is the LifeCafe. After a hard workout, you can conveniently grab lunch or dinner and remain healthy. Plus, the food is very good. read more

Let's be real - this gym is super nice. But you pay for every penny of it. It's expensive and while they offer a lot of classes, they are at totally weird times that I can't often make (5am or 9am...what?!). Lifetime reminds me of gyms of past-lots of smoke and mirrors at sign up, no interest in actually helping the members and look for an opportunity to make more off of you at every turn. Parking lot lights have been totally off the last two nights - pitch black. Big safety risk - both with hitting someone or getting hit and a perfect opportunity to get mugged. You need a flashlight just to find your car. Management has no sense of urgency about his issue and claims there is enough light from other buildings - NOT!!! I'm paying 3-4 times higher rates than other gyms and I expect safety to be a TOP priority! read more

Gilbert platinum in az is 1000 times nicer than here. I'm pissed I want a huge discount. There's no conditioner in the bathrooms. It's old and not updated the steam room is literally gross to go inside of. I had to pay more bc this location is "nicer" well it's not. I am disgusted and scared to even take a shower here. There's no better amenities than that platinum membership it's actually worse. The Peoria lifetime in az is beautiful with nice hot tubs and lounge chairs. Won't be risking my time or money with Lifetime Fitness until they begin reflecting more positive feedback from their members... UPDATE: I appreciate your willingness to reach out Taylor, I do. However, the beauty of 'Consumer Reviews' in this new age of instant information, is in allowing prospective consumers at large to read up on the good, bad and the ugly without having to risk personal time or expense to learn the same lesson... It's been decades since I worked in any kind of sales capacity, but a study of the day resonated and has stuck to this moment. It suggested a 'satisfied' customer in most cases would tell an average of eight (8) people of their positive experience, while an 'unsatisfied' would tell an average of twenty-six (26). In today's marketplace, we no longer have to rely upon 'word-of-mouth' for a good recommend or a cautionary warning. It's all in the reviews. And what I see in reviews of your facility Taylor, are a lot of unhappy people... You'll pardon the unsolicited advice, but instead of waging a 'damage control' campaign after the 'Yelp' fires have long spread out of control, perhaps your energy would be put to more productive use in addressing operational and logistical shortcomings relative to each poor review? Logic suggests in due course you would have a well oiled, finely-tuned machine, where 'poor reviews' are for those trying to keep up with your leadership and market dominance. I didn't catch his name but the bearded guy at the front desk had the most unenthusiastic, unhelpful customer service I've received in a long time. I get it if you can't meet a request, but at least pretend to be sympathetic and try to offer some alternatives (which there were some I found out on my own). Maybe end the conversation with an "I'm sorry we couldn't help you" instead of dumbfacedly turning your attention elsewhere. I am in town on business for one night. It has been a couple of years but the hotel I stay at used to have a day pass deal. They don't any more - which is fine. I was prepared to pay, but not $40 for a couple of hours. That stinks and feels like gouging, but again, fine if there are no other paths in. It turns out that there were some that I found after I got back to the hotel: having a member give me a guest pass (which I believe one of my business partners could get), or going online and getting a discounted day pass. The guy at the desk today embodied the snobbery that I had until then only subconsciously associated with Lifetime Fitness. No matter my income bracket, Lifetime is not for me. read more

Well, seems this review is LONG overdue. I first was a member of Lifetime Fitness about 4 years ago when I was a Managing Partner and Marketing & PR Director for SpiritBank Event Center. We worked in collaboration with the Tulsa 66ers NBA D-League franchise and I spent a lot of time here working out, playing basketball and pretending I was an important somebody at the Ritz Carlton of fitness centers! Yes, it is that fantastic! I absolutely love this place, so much so, that upon my return to Tulsa for the second time, I have rejoined with my significant other and her three year old son. Let me first say, you will not find a nicer fitness facility in Oklahoma. The spa, group fitness activities, children's center, pool (indoor and out) are fantastic. But my cherry on top is the mens basketball league. As a former DII basketball player hopeful, this is my true passion and the league, courts and programs are all top notch. Simply can't go wrong here. Only downside is living the lavish life of trendy fitness, comes with a steep price. Be prepared to open up the wallet monthly, but I would say, if you're going to pay to work out, might as well make it a place you look forward to! read more

I've been a Lifetime Fitness member in Dallas for 10 years now. During that time, I've probably visited 20-25 locations all over the country as I travel. This is the cleanest location I've been to. Also, the two front desk people I dealt with were extremely professional and nice. read more

The facility is awesome. Steam room, endless equipment, pools, hot tubs, etc. The TEAM classes are an expensive add-on, but the trainers are wonderful! My major frustration with Lifetime is the negligent child care. There are always WAY too many kids per staff. Sometimes, my group training runs outside and every time we pass the outdoor child care, there are kids crying and no one attending to them. One time, we saw a kid get his head stuck in between two bars and the only staff near didn't even notice because she was sitting on the ground with her back turned. My trainer ended up helping the kid out. During their summer camps, the kids run crazy in the gym and staff stand talking to each other. I dropped my two year old off last summer and when I picked her up she had bloody nail marks down her face. The staff didn't even know she had been hurt. My daughter just kept say, "kid hurt me..." Needless to say, we love the facility but don't bring our kids. They need to separate age groups better, regulate how many kids they have and hire more staff. It is a fun looking kids area, but definitely over-run. read more

I love this place! It has just about everything you can think of except an indoor walking / running track. Pools, weights, a huge variety of fitness equipment, dry and wet saunas, lap pool, warmer large combination lap and beach entry pool. I have been a member since June of 2019 and plan to stay with them as long as the place is kept up. They do a good job of cleaning up after a lot of people that their mother must not have trained (pigs). The locker rooms are large enough to social distance. The amenities are fewer since Covid, but it is still the best place I have ever had. It isn't cheap, but the hours are really good. They are open if I am awake, and a lot more than that! The people there are doing their best. I tried a couple other places in town and they were not kept up, things always broken, or just filthy. I could not ask for more. I have been a member of a number of gyms over the years and this is by far the best. It's like a country club (minus a golf course). The offer everything from group classes, personal training, massage therapy, and the gym itself to a salon and restaurant on the premises. It's only an extra $10 a month for a child membership which offers a great daycare facility for up to two hours of kid free workout time. The restaurant offers low calorie meals and protein shakes in addition to regular food that's healthy. You can also stock up on supplements there as well. The cleanliness of the facility is better than most and the staff is incredibly friendly. My only real complaint is that they can't debit your membership fees on any date accept the first so if it works better to have it come out in the middle of the month, you just have to pay it monthly instead of automatic debit. They also have two full size basketball courts, multiple rooms for group training, a HUGE rock climbing wall, and swim lessons for the kids. Prices are: $85 for an adult membership. $10 for each child $50 for swim lessons read more

When you have places like ten gym and planet fitness for $10 a month, it's hard to stomach paying $85 per month for services and classes unless you're really utilizing them. So I stopped them from being able to get money from my account. To have them call and tell me they would send to collections to mess with my credit. When I told them what happen the last man said to me "I have no emotional attachment and yes we will send u to collection. We don't care that u were unhappy or that you tried to contact them. Give us money or yes we will mess up ur credit....." I would not be upset had I not called and told them and if I had been going this whole time.
