Well recently I have had issues with my teeth, saw Dr. J about a month ago and he is once again going to be caring for my treatment ... I love and are comfortable with Dr. J and his staff. To give a better rating for this business, I will start with the Hemet office. Hemet office: is clean, presentable and still the same outlook I remember from about 8-9 years ago. I do know that it's under slight construction but I also do know that it will turn out even better then before. The kids corner looked the same, but I'm sure they have upcoming plans for that area as well. Some of the staff that I remember my first time around are still there and have great memory, when I had showed up again after all these years - that same staff had greeted me with happiness and provided professionalism all over again. These guys are awesome!! Temecula office: I saw more of the old staff and they are still awesome as well, always a good feeling to know that you are recognized as their patient - even after not showing up for a very long time. The office looked very nice, comfortable, clean and presentable. This office has a little kids section as well but also a little hydration corner for patients. I know from the last time I had visited the Temecula office, it was under construction in the back office, which I know it will turn out as great as before. But no matter what, they still conducted business as usual and kept a clean and professional act and environment.. I want to give a huge thank you to all the staff that I have came in contact with and appreciate your excellent professionalism and care.. I also want to Thank Dr. J's new partner Dr. Waddoups, I had seen him for the 1st time just recently and he has the utmost respect and caring heart for his patients as well. I can honestly say the experience was refreshingly good compared to other ortho consults I've had. Dr. Pesh's time is valuable, and I was surprised that he spent the amount of time with me that he did- examining my jaws, teeth, x ray, the pictures from earlier in the consult and answering all of my follow up questions. I really appreciated his honest and detailed insights. Get this - he didn't want to know what other orthos said until AFTER his own evaluation. What a champ! You can tell he's a sharp guy who is level-headed and wants the best for the patient. His staff exceeded my expectations for professionalism, cleanliness and kindness. There was a nice blonde lady who performed the first part of the consult and she was so kind, clean and professional. There was also the dark haired lady who I believe was the treatment coordinator and she was very kind and professional as well. None of them, including Dr Pesh, were pushy at all. In the end, we both chose not to pursue the treatment, because for me, cutting bone / surgery wasn't on my wishlist - and he agreed. TL/DR: my two children did not receive a welcoming experience, they made my son cry and upset me, the mother, and this office does not communicate well with themselves. First, my kids had awkward/stressful experiences there. My 8 year old daughter had expressed her nervousness to the assisstant that was about to do work on her teeth, and the tech merely squinted at her and said "...well I have to work on your teeth." Absolutely no reassurance for my child, just "well let's get it done." Luckily, she is used to the dentist and not that sensitive, but she noticed the way the tech treated her. It gets worse. My 5 year old son had his first appointment, and we even discussed this during his appointment that this is his first time. The assistant was very unprofessional. I mean REALLY unprofessional. My son simply wasn't ready to have someone clean his teeth yet, and the assistant insisted on trying to force him to get his teeth cleaned. My son was pushing her hands away and spitting out the toothpaste, to which the assistant seemed to have taken this personally and was telling my son to not spit at her. I tried to tell my son that he wouldn't get stickers if he couldn't let them do the work they needed to, because I'm mom and I can tell him that, however that ended up being a big mistake. To make things worse, and instead of just realizing he wasn't ready for a cleaning yet, she gets angry with my son's unwillingness to get his teeth cleaned, she tells him "Oh NO stickers for you!" The whiplash of how she changed her demeanor was so quick! My poor son bursted into tears, he didn't even care about the stickers, he just didn't want that lady around him anymore. I thought, "Wow lady, way to make your job harder!" I told her that was enough and we obviously needed to try again another time. I should have stopped her sooner but I was trying to give them a chance to be able to work together. I was so angry at the lady for treating him that way, I left and called back after chilling out a little bit and told them they are not to let that lady work on my son EVER. Funny enough I saw her again during my daughters second visit, and she couldn't even look me in the eye nor apologize. For descriptions sake because so you avoid her as well, she is the bigger black lady. I am bad with names and thats as simple as I can describe her. Unfortunately, I'm not even sure they will hold themselves to that, because they cannot even communicate properly in their office. What I mean is that this past week they've called me 3 times about my son's next appointment, 2 different people called at 2 different times. One woman had allowed us to reschedule for the next week. I received another call the next day from a different lady asking about my son's initial appointment time, to which I told her we already rescheduled. She said if we made the appointment for next week my insurance wouldn't cover it and we would have to reschedule for Sept. Now mind you we've had to change dentists over the years with moving, and I've NEVER heard of this. But I'm not worried because they said my son has no cavities so I'm in no rush to make him go back. I reschedule for September, and then the next day they call me and my husband about my son's appointment for the week that it was supposedly not going to be covered, when I had already rescheduled for Sept. There is so much wrong with this place it is certainly NOT worth your time or your kids mental peace. I can't believe this is a PEDIATRICS dentist honestly. We will never return and continue to warn parents about this place.

To the point where I would keep putting it off out of fear of being judged. What I found at Bright Now! in Hemet is an AMAZING staff and Doctor (Dr. Ahmad). He laid out all of my options for me, and in ways that I could understand. The x-ray gal was awesome, the front-desk ladies were awesome, and a special shoutout to Martha (Martha I hope you see this!) who walked me through cost and gave me all of the information I needed to know in terms of how dental insurance works and why it really is worth it to carry. Today I received a full set of x-rays and an exam, which allowed Dr. Ahmad to set up a couple of treatment plans for me to look at. I never once felt embarrassed or self-conscious, and everyone was extremely friendly and inviting.
