Good food and drinks! The inside is bright and fun with surf board décor and colorful slushy twirling against the back wall. You order at the counter and the items will be delivered to your table. Butterscotch Irish Coffee $14 16oz - It didn't have strong butterscotch nor coffee flavors, but was potent and drinkable. Unsweetened ice tea (Gold Peak bottle) $3.50 Holiday Mulled Wine $12 12oz - This seems like a popular option this holiday. Spiced Apple Cider Cocktail $12 12oz Fish N' Chips $23 - Big portion, nice and crispy. Sweet + Spicy Chicken Sandwich $16 Truffle Veggie Fried Rice with crispy chicken $21 - Good flavor. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2026

What a unique idea to have frozen drinks in a town known for MO wine. There is a wide a variety of choices. A lot of people were getting flights to try multiple flavors. Highly recommend going that route to try different flavors. Plenty of seating inside and outside. This was a popular spot for bachelorette parties.

This is a super cool restaurant in Hermann, which gives this town a hip big city alternative, and a great option for Cajun food than the other restaurant we'd visited before coming to eat here. I had a slushy of course. But it was the mint grasshopper one and it went well with the spicy Southern boil we had. I will warn that it was really spicy as the Cajun spice didn't disappoint. I would have liked to have tried the banana slushy. They have very catchy holiday names foe their slushies too.

If you're a fan of Narwhal's or Trops, this place is definitely worth a drive out to Hermann. Doxie Slush is a fun and breezy addition to their historic downtown with a bright and vibrant interior and variety of frozen cocktail options. We've been to Doxie Slush a few times in the past few years, and it's never a regret. We didn't get food this past stop in, but I do remember and can recommend the Coconut Shrimp Tatchos (sweet potato tots). I haven't explored the rest of the food menu personally, but the descriptions sound delicous on first glance. At this time, there are 12 frozen cocktails in a variety of sweet, fruit, rich, and tart flavor profiles. My wife and I tried the flight, which included the Blueberry Cinnamon Margarita, Dappletini, and Strawberry Amaretto Shortcake. We both agree the Dappletini was our favorite, but each is worth a taste for its own unique charm. Give it a try next time you pass through Hermann; you're bound to become a new fan.

When we visit Hermann, Doxie Slush is usually our first stop for lunch on Friday to get the party started! The food far exceeded my expectations for what I thought was primarily a slush bar. The fries were done well and the fish was great too. Both the drink and the food menus are very impressive. It seems like there are a lot of options for a variety of dietary needs. There is plenty of seating on a Friday, but I can imagine that it gets a lot busier on Saturday or Sunday. Service is very friendly, and decor is kitschy fun with tropical vibes perfect for a weekend out with the girls.

I love Doxie Slush! I've visited here a few times and always had a great experience. The staff is always kind, I wish I knew their names, but there's a guy with a top hat at the door and he rocks - and the tall gentleman behind the counter with the white hair, both amazing, every single time. (Next time I'll get their names, I promise!) The food here is AMAZING! Try the sourdough grilled cheese and chowder, you won't regret it, it's the greatest. Drinks are delicious and just strong enough. Doxie Slush is always a go to when I visit Hermann and I want to take everyone that I know.

This was our very first stop when we went to Hermann and goodness did it not disappoint! My expectations were more than met, they were exceeded! THE FRIED RICE IS A MUST! I am a fried rice girl and USUALLY when I try to get it anywhere but an on point Chinese spot- it's lacking flavor and taste. But ooooweeee!!! It was SO SO SO DELICIOUS!!!!! I modified it without egg and added in crispy chicken! WOWSERS!!!! The flavor....the rice....the sauce....YUMMERS! My slushee was good too but that food was absolutely on point! GO NOW!

Slushies. I liked the apple one best

Good food and drinks. Was costing from out of town. Literally give me 10 of the Appletini slushies and I'll be happy. The fries and burger was great as well. Super happy to see a local business like this in Hermann!

What an amazing find in Hermann , Missouri! The food is over the top good, and of course the drinks. Cant wait for ore next visit!

    Fish and chips

Everyone tends to go here for the drinks, but don't sleep on the food - it's delicious! The fish and chips were hot and fresh. 10/10

The cutest spot in Hermann for a frozen cocktail or mocktail! I suggest getting the sampler try so you can try 3 different kinds! My personal favorite was the rosé flavor. This would be such a fun spot for a girls night or date night!

    Citrus salad and basic smashburger

Great food and friendly service! I had the citrus salad- everything was fresh, the oranges were carefully sliced, and the cheese (maybe herbed goat?) was perfection. 10/10 would return

Stopped by Doxie Slush while in Hermann and LOVED it. We stopped by for dinner and drinks on a Thursday night. They have a tiny little patio, and we were able to sit there and enjoy our food and drinks. I am not a picky eater, so I asked what the employee recommended and followed his suggestions. We got the brunch burger, and a flight of drinks with the G&T, banana carajillo, and the frose. Everything was very good. The frose was sweeter than I was expecting, and the G&T was my favorite. Definitely a place to stop while in Hermann!

Cool vibe with the dark wood, brick and exposed floor joists. Plenty of seating, nice bar area and a game room with pool tables. Menu says they are fried, but they almost seemed baked and were not greasy at all. I was pleasantly surprised. The pork rinds are called cracklin'... and they are cracklin' still when they get to the table. Hubs had the 1851 burger with bacon and pulled pork. The pork was done very well. The onion rings were some of the best we've had in a while and there were a ton.of them. I got the swiss burger which was delicious and cheesy with a ton of really good fries. They have several signature cocktails. We tried one that was a caramel apple type of drink that was really good, especially since it is fall and chilly outside. The building is historic and used to be a bank and hardware store years ago. The interior exposed brick walls make this a real charming place to have a drink or grab a quick bite to eat. The menu is somewhat limited. They have a couple of Paninis, flatbreads and one or two choices on different sizes of pizzas. They also have some other sandwiches as well. I got the chipotle chicken Panini and she got a bacon cheddar chicken Panini. Both were good (we always share). The chipotle chicken was topped with tomatoes lettuce and onion and it was a really good sandwich. Both sandwiches only come with potato chips as a side. I wish there was a little more choice than a bag Premade chips. The sandwiches will set you back about $9 each, And the cocktail was 10 bucks. This is a fabulous addition to the downtown area and one more place to get a quick bite. Experiences have always had up-and-down moments, but this time was disappointing because I really wanted it to be great. It just wasn't. The Good: The restaurant itself is gorgeous, and the waterfront ambiance is spot on. It's clearly the place to be at the lake--so good job on the venue. The Service & Atmosphere: Service was adequate, but far from fine dining. If you're charging premium prices, the service model needs to match. Having random runners drop food at the table without knowing who ordered what is diner or casual Mexican restaurant service, not an elegant dining experience. The new manager stopped by twice--a nice touch, until we actually provided constructive feedback. Instead of offering a remedy, he offered excuses about being new and didn't handle criticism well. The Food: Apps (Deviled Eggs & Tuna): Both looked like they'd been plated earlier in the day--they had an unappetizing "sheen" to them that made them look leftover rather than fresh. The flavor on the eggs was completely muted, and the tuna was equally lusterless. Salads: We split the Caesar, and our friends had the wedge. They were served without any offer of fresh pepper. When we flagged down a staff member, they brought out cheap grocery-store salt and pepper grinders. Later, we were told the new chef prefers not to offer pepper on the table. With all due respect to the chef: that's the guest's choice, not yours. (Side note: the wedge was tasty, but oddly wasn't actually cut into a wedge). Mains: The ladies had the Sea Bass--the dish that originally put this place on the map. It was okay, but not as good as it used to be; the new Asian flair and bowl presentation take away from what used to make it the star of the show. The pork chop was good and thoroughly enjoyed. My lasagna had a great portion size and good base flavor, but it was dry as jerky with practically zero sauce. The Verdict: The restaurant will continue to thrive simply because of its location and the lack of competing fine-dining options on the water. But when you're dropping $500 on dinner, you expect accountability and an outstanding meal. We won't be back anytime soon.

It is very romantic and extremely picturesque. Make sure you check my review on the Winery to see the rest of the photos. The service and the food. This place, though it isn't indicated anywhere, stopped seating after lunchtime and took a break between 2 pm and 4 pm. They weren't kicking diners out, but also wouldn't seat anyone till 4. This is a bit of a shock for those just trying to get a late lunch and missed the 2 pm deadline by a few minutes. There is no other close option for snacks or something of the like. And unfortunately, the attitude was very much of a... "well, sorry that you weren't prepared!" We almost didn't return, but we wanted a specific item off the menu. And to rate this place! (Just dropped my rating to 3 stars from 4 as I think of this. When we did return in time for dinner, the same person who didn't recognize us at all cheerfully greeted and seated us. The waitress was very good and knew her stuff. Even so far as to suggest a specific wine with my dinner when asked. The food - This is the main thing that lost a star. It was OK. I chose the German Trio, thinking of getting a little of everything. And, I did. However, when it says smaller portions (see menu picture), they mean it! There was a smallish brat, an incredibly small and overcooked piece of schnitzel (pictured), and lastly some overcooked pork with a sauce all over it. I believe they get away with serving this kind of food for several reasons. a.) The sauce is amazing! And yes, it is on lots of the food or on the side as you wish. b.) The winery has a trolley that runs to it. So many visitors are "trapped" till it returns, so a place to eat makes sense. Also, the place's main concern is wine. The average customer is at least lightly sauced and will view this as the best meal ever because they are going to remember the sauce! Those of you who typically read my reviews often times know that I give each venue the benefit of a doubt and will go eat at them a few times to ensure it wasn't just a fluke. But not this time. I found nothing extremely redeeming other than the convenience of eating right after drinking a bunch of wine. This place touts itself as one of the premier, old school, and fancy restaurants in Hermann. It is not. Pick one of the others and have a better meal.
