Got a brand new Speed Queen washer and dryer for Christmas, literally spent almost $4,000 on both…read more My father-in-law came to deliver it and help install it since my husband just had surgery. As we were opening the box we noticed the box was damaged but didn't think anything of it. We continued installing it and almost immediately noticed a decent size dent on the back portion of the washer but we figured it would be fine. Once installed, I was told to run the washer with water only to basically break it in and allow the belts to settle into their spot. So that's exactly what we did (mind you my father in law has the exact same washer and dryer that he also bought from Johnny). The washer was running great until it reached spin cycle, let me tell you when it started to spin I thought our house was going to shake loose. The washer made this god awful noise like something inside was going bust out the side, it was also rattling so bad the TV on our wall was shaking. We immediately got up and took a video as we cancelled the cycle. We called Johnny and told him what was going on and he brushed it off saying that it was normal and that it would resolve itself after another run through....so we ran it again with water only and once again it felt like an earthquake. The following day my father in law went down to the store and was told by Johnny that it needed to be leveled with water in it and that would fix the issue. He came back and we used a leveler just to realize that the washer was leveled with and without water....called them again for what felt like the 45th time and finally had their mechanic come out. He came to the house and was blowing smoke saying that the belts just needed to be adjusted, we tried sowing him the video and he directly told us "I don't need to see that." He began by running the washer, he was incredibly rude to my husband when he asked us what we wanted to do and we told him to just get us a new washer because we had not even had it for a day and we were having so many issues. We even told him about the dent and all he kept saying is that they wouldn't give us a new washer and they would just replace the panel. Really??? Replace the panel??? After we have spent literally almost $10,000 at your store in appliances in less then a year!!!!!!!! All you have to offer is taking our washer apart and already replacing parts...come on! After he ran and notice it was still doing that god awful sound he pulled the front panel off and saw something and immediately went outside to call the store...After the conversation he came back in and informed us to not use the washer and that they would replace it. Got the new washer and it's a dream!!! Gave them one star for their rude behavior, their lies and lack of understanding. Had to pull teeth and argue to get out money worth but I for one would not do business with them again.
