He arrived at 8:30 a.m., quickly diagnosed the problem, and explained that he needed to order a replacement part. He left about 30 minutes later to finish a previously scheduled job and place the order. By 10:10 a.m., he called to let me know the part had been ordered and that he would pick it up after his appointment before returning around 1:00 p.m. Vlad returned as promised, replaced the faulty motor in our Monogram refrigerator, and had everything working again that same afternoon. His communication throughout the entire process was outstanding, and I really appreciated how quickly he got us back up and running. His pricing was also very fair and reasonable, especially considering the same-day service. I highly recommend Vlad and FixMan to anyone needing appliance repairs. As we were opening the box we noticed the box was damaged but didn't think anything of it. We continued installing it and almost immediately noticed a decent size dent on the back portion of the washer but we figured it would be fine. Once installed, I was told to run the washer with water only to basically break it in and allow the belts to settle into their spot. So that's exactly what we did (mind you my father in law has the exact same washer and dryer that he also bought from Johnny). The washer was running great until it reached spin cycle, let me tell you when it started to spin I thought our house was going to shake loose. The washer made this god awful noise like something inside was going bust out the side, it was also rattling so bad the TV on our wall was shaking. We immediately got up and took a video as we cancelled the cycle. We called Johnny and told him what was going on and he brushed it off saying that it was normal and that it would resolve itself after another run through....so we ran it again with water only and once again it felt like an earthquake. The following day my father in law went down to the store and was told by Johnny that it needed to be leveled with water in it and that would fix the issue. He came back and we used a leveler just to realize that the washer was leveled with and without water....called them again for what felt like the 45th time and finally had their mechanic come out. He came to the house and was blowing smoke saying that the belts just needed to be adjusted, we tried sowing him the video and he directly told us "I don't need to see that." He began by running the washer, he was incredibly rude to my husband when he asked us what we wanted to do and we told him to just get us a new washer because we had not even had it for a day and we were having so many issues. We even told him about the dent and all he kept saying is that they wouldn't give us a new washer and they would just replace the panel. Really??? Replace the panel??? After we have spent literally almost $10,000 at your store in appliances in less then a year!!!!!!!! All you have to offer is taking our washer apart and already replacing parts...come on! After he ran and notice it was still doing that god awful sound he pulled the front panel off and saw something and immediately went outside to call the store...After the conversation he came back in and informed us to not use the washer and that they would replace it. Got the new washer and it's a dream!!! Gave them one star for their rude behavior, their lies and lack of understanding. Had to pull teeth and argue to get out money worth but I for one would not do business with them again.

I took my vaccum here to be repaired and they promised it would be done within a week. They said they would call me. When they didn't after almost two weeks I called them and found out that the part I needed had to be ordered to they said another two weeks. I called them back after another two weeks and they say the part is backordered and they won't be able to get it for at least a month. I said I already waited a month and didn't want to wait any more. I asked them to tell me what kind of part I needed so I could look it up myself. I asked to take the vaccum home, when all of a sudden the manager comes out and says the part is in the mail and will be here in three days. They gave me the name of some hose part. Said it would cost over $300 just for the part not including what they would need to fix it. I looked it up myself and found many many listings of it all over different websites and on ebay for less than $30. I went back to the store the next day and said I didn't want them to order it or do anything at all to my vaccum just give it back. They refused. Demanding that I pay them the money for the part. I asked if it was here or on the vaccum and they told me AGAIN that it was backordered and wouldn't be available for at least three months even though they had told me the day before that it was in the mail. I demanded they give me my vaccum or I would call the police because they would not release my property. They brought out a vaccum and tried to give it to me and it WASNT EVEN MINE. I argued with the manager, an older woman and co owner of the store. She finally gave me back MINE and it was in pieces. I could see right away that the parts they were giving me were not correct and I made them put the vaccum back together before I left the store. They were trying to give me two separate unit pieces (since mine is the one with the handle and unit attached only by a hose and you drag the rolling container behind you) that didn't even match. I finally got out of there with all of the right pieces and went to Albert's Vaccum Repair and he fixed up my vaccum within 20 minutes with parts right from the floor stock and he let me watch him do it. I would NOT recommend Kingdom Sewing and Vaccum repair. read more

This place is wonderful. I don't sew, but my girlfriend does. She has a lot of experience with older machines. She wanted to get a new sewing machine and table. Both were gotten from Kingdom, and both are fantastic. However, shortly after we got it, something happened with the thread that made the machine not work. And so the machine sat at home....for months. One of those things we could get taken care of, but just kept putting off. Finally we get it together to take it to Tim to see what's up. In five minutes, he diagnosed the problem, fixed it (it seems like it was a relatively simple fix requiring no new parts), and instructed us as to what likely caused the problem and how to avoid causing it in the future. He then gave the next 30 minutes of his time educating girlfriend about various aspects of sewing with this new machine. Finally, he invited her to take a free class (a perk when you buy the machine with Kingdom). All of this at no charge. Really good business! I feel very valued as a customer coming here. Tim is a real expert in his field, and he cares about his customers. read more

I stopped by Kingdom Sewing and Vacuum Center during my lunch break to upgrade my vacuum. I am tired of constantly dealing with unreliable models (looking at you, Dyson and Shark). And wow, what a difference! This turned out to be one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect vacuum, showing me several options and offering expert advice tailored to my needs. They didn't just sell me a product--they took the time to teach me how to use it properly and answered every question I had. The customer service here is truly exceptional; I felt like they genuinely cared about making sure I was completely satisfied. Not only did they offer me an amazing price, but they also set up the vacuum for me and even loaded it into my car. I recently inherited an old (mid 80s) Pfaff sewing machine. Unfortunately a small part was broken and the feed mechanism would not function. Otherwise, the machine was in wonderful condition. I called Kingdom Sewing and Vacuum Center, the local Pfaff dealer. Tim, the owner, broke the bad news to me that Pfaff hasn't made parts for that machine for decades. Most stores would have stopped there or tried to sell me a new machine. Instead, Tim went far above and beyond and tracked down a used part for me from a salvaged machine at another store. He didn't make any money for doing this, but has earned my future business! I also had an opportunity to meet some of the other store employees and observe them working with customers. I was very impressed with their knowledge and how they focused on helping or educating customers rather than "selling." I can't recommend Kingdom Sewing and Vacuum Center more highly. read more
