Ana was a rescue dog when we picked her up at 8 weeks old in January 2024. Her anxiety and reactivities toward people and all four-legged animals were so extreme that we couldn't bring her to any public place. When she was finally tall enough to peek through the car window, she would bark so loud at the dogs crossing the street that people thought we were murdering her. We thought she would learn from her older packs: an 8 year old female Belgium Malinois and a 11 year old male German Shepherd Dog. We were wrong. She bullied the older dogs. Thank goodness we found Enrique Guey through Omar's Doza Dogs in Palo Alto. We enrolled Ana through Omar's Board and Train program. Ana came back a completely different dog after 5 + weeks. She was able to go on walks with Omar's packs. She was able to board with them without incidents. The biggest surprise was that she was able to go on weekly walks with Enrique's clients' dogs at Stanford Shopping Mall. I would highly recommend anyone who has similar situations to start this training course with Enrique and boarding at Omar's. This is a perfect combination where your dog gets training routines on a daily basis. Omar's team is very friendly and professional. They will screen all the dogs before adding them to the group walk. This is the best of the best team! Totally worth the price compare to the big brand K9 training company. Omar, the owner, genuinely changed my life and is the most responsible, reliable, and trustworthy person I know. All of the guys who work there are fantastic, too. I have two dogs, both of whom board with Doza's Dogs when I go out of town and one who attends daycare as well. I often bring my other dog with me to drop my crazy one off for daycare and every single time, she tries to climb into the van. She literally falls over herself with joy when she sees any of the guys who come to do pickup. She is the greatest endorsement possible for just how well they all treat and care for these dogs. Doza's dogs has come through for me so many times. Once, I left my dogs with friends for a longer period of time and my crazy one really regressed. I called Omar in a panic and he came straight from the airport (he had been traveling that week) and picked up my dog that same day. Immediately, my dog's behavior improved. When Stanford lost power, Omar came in the evening and took my dogs for a few days with extremely short notice. He even taught my dog how to use a treadmill and taught me how to get him on it! I bought one of my own and now run my dog on it regularly. There was a while before working with Doza's Dogs where my dog's behavior was getting so bad that I didn't know if I could safely and responsibily keep him. Omar changed that entirely. He even did some training with me and my dog that helped tremendously. I went from being afraid to walk my dog to being able to take him basically anywhere--all thanks to Doza's Dogs. If you are looking for a sitter or day care, you will not find better. My family has relied on Omar's petsitting, boarding, and daycare services for over a year. Our rescue Australian shepard is extremely shy and neurotic and has stranger aggression issues, especially towards men. She would bark at men approaching her from a block away. When Omar came into our house to evaluate her, she was completely silent and respectful and immediately drawn to him. It is clear that he has the magic touch and is a true "dog whisperer"! After a year with him, our dog's behavior has improved immensely. She is much more social and less skittish. Omar goes above and beyond in helping us manage her behaviors, such as trying to tone down her separation anxiety when he returns with her by crating her or putting her in different rooms to prevent her barking. Where to begin...we have a very difficult rescue pup. I know what you're thinking: all puppies are difficult, right? Well, ours couldn't step foot outside without trying to sprint away from us in terror of every sound she heard - a door closing, a leaf rustling, the bark of a dog a mile away. Her time with Omar has been a huge component of building her confidence. Omar is not only exceptionally patient with our puppy, but helps us better understand and communicate with her. He goes above and beyond the usual dog walking/sitting responsibilities and is happy to work with her on behavioral and obedience issues. She's a high strung dog with a ton of energy, but always comes home exhausted and content to give us several hours of peace. Omar has walked our dog, a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd, 2-3 times a week for over a year. He's also boarded her not irregularly, and watched our Siamese cat on occasion. We cannot recommend him highly enough. (We've also worked with other dog walkers in the past, to less splendid results. Omar is the real deal.) The core Omar experience, if you will, is to take a pack of dogs on a walk around assorted bay trails. Omar varies this as appropriate--if it's too hot, too smokey, or too rainy, he'll plan other activities for the dogs, for instance filling up doggie swimming pools or conducting sheltered activities. One thing that sets Omar apart is that he's a veritable animal whisperer. Furthermore, Omar's disciplined about keeping pack sizes that are manageable, and is always working with our dog to improve her behaviors, even though that far exceeds our normal expectations for dog walking. I found Omar via a Nextdoor posting. I've been using him for about a month now and I'm very happy. I have two large (80-90lbs) rescue dogs. Calvin is a 8yo black lab/pit. Hobbes is a 6yo German Shepherd/Sharpe. They go on walks, runs, playtime with Omar three times a week. Calvin is pooped when he comes home. Hobbes runs non stop all day but I can tell he is a little winded as well. Omar is a responsible, on-time, transparent guy that is friendly and hard working. I have tried several of the dog walking/playtime services in the bay area and I think Omar has a good business model. He picks up my dogs from my house three times a week at around 9AM and returns back my boys at around 4PM. He will occasionally send me pictures of the dogs playing, which I think is a very nice touch. I've noticed very few of the dog walking services ever send any pictures or videos. I met Omar by way of referral and from the beginning, he was professional and responsive. I was able to tour his home facility and set up a meet and greet with our dog prior to hiring him. He clearly knows what he is doing - he has a designated play area, a crate area, and a potty area and everything was clean and orderly. We initially used him to board our energetic, one-year-old goldendoodle and we now use him for his daycare service. During our dog's one week boarding stay, Omar texted us daily to let us know how she was doing, gave her a bath prior to us getting home, and he also provided pick-up/drop-off or you can pick up your dog at your convenience. I liked how when I first arrived, he was observing my puppy to see how she was. He kept it very real which I liked. He gave me an update later in the day to let me know how she was doing.
