I send my two dogs out with Amy everyday. I trust Amy so much, I would send my human kids if she'd take them! My pups love their daily trips! The come back tried, clean, and happy! I've used other local services in the past. They were unreliable as well as having little consistency in their staff and dog pack. Sometimes they would forget to take one of the dogs. During the muddy seasons, they would drop them off with very muddy paws which would end up all over the house. I never have to worry about details like that with Amy! I could rave all day about how great Amy has been for our Pit mix, Bean. She's been walking and occasionally boarding him for over a year, since he was a very nervous 4-month old who would chew up anything in his path. Thanks to Amy, he's now a (mostly) well-behaved, well-socialized, healthy city dog. She trains him while he's with her, has given us tips to use at home, turned us on to great pet resources, and even been helpful with our new kitten. In addition to ensuring our pup gets a great hike with his pack every day, Amy was a lifesaver when he got sick while we were traveling. She noticed he had an abscess on his side during his regular walk, helped our friends who were pet-sitting get him to the right vet, and checked in with us and them all along the way to ensure he'd be ok. A highlight of my day is seeing her Insta posts of the "pack" romping together. And she sends me personal messages and texts anytime something particularly cute happens. Trusting my beloved Westie Hamish to someone else is a big deal! After 6 years with the same doggie day care person, I had to find someone new when I moved to San Francisco a few months ago. If I could give Amy and David 10 stars I would! They are the absolute best! Amy has walked and loved our dog Dexter from the time he was just a little pup. I am very skeptical of other people watching my boy, but with Amy I have full confidence. He lights up when he hears her coming and always looks so happy in the photos Amy takes of him when he is out playing with her, and all of his dog buddies. I regularly upload her photos to The Pack website and claim them as my own. :) When I come home from work Dexter is calm and happy to see me from a fun day of playing. Amy is great! My english bulldog is 11 years old and doesn't get along too well with other dogs. Even knowing this, Amy takes her and is terrific about giving me periodic updates and sending pictures! Although my dog still needs a muzzle on walks, i am confident that one day she'll be able to walk w/ Amy and the pack without it! It was the first time I would be away from my dogs for almost 3 weeks. I was going on vacation, visiting old friends and family, splash in the ocean, have amazing food... still I was SAD and trying to find a way to avoid 3 weeks of vacation in paradise. Then we found Amy and it was clear that taking care of dogs it is not just her job, it is her passion. Now I didn't have any more excuses. We are so lucky to have Amy walking our 2 dogs 5 days a week. One of our dogs is blind and needs extra attention. Since Day #1 Amy has been a dog-owner's dream! She is very sweet, trustworthy, responsible and my 10 month-old French bulldog, Sunny, absolutely LOVES her! Amy is amazing! She has been caring for our dog each week for two years when we relocated to San Francisco. I cannot say enough about the love and compassion Amy has for animals. We feel at ease knowing our dog is so well cared for while we are at work or on vacation. Our dog is older and has some health issues. I can always tell when Amy arrives if I'm home when she picks them up because our pups rush to the door and start whining in happy anticipation of her arrival.They always come home tired and relaxed and a note from Amy telling us of the days activities. David and Amy have been an absolute staple in my and my pups existence for almost a year now. I'm actually embarrassed to have not written this sooner! David takes my little girl out daily and Amy is always close by and invested in my pups well-being as well. Amy is the best thing that's happened to my dog, Brody, and I since we moved to San Francisco just over 6 months ago! Brody was adjusting to the Bay Area and was new to off-leash walks, but Amy took the time to get him comfortable enough to be reliably responsive to her recall so that he could play off-leash with the other dogs in the pack. I've also boarded Brody with Amy and her pups and was able to travel knowing that he was getting just as good of care as he would have been if he was home with me. Amy takes the time to make sure each dog would be a positive addition to the pack and is impressively acute. She is always quick to let me know if Brody is having any behavioral changes so that I'm able to address any issues that might require additional attention. Overall, I cannot recommend Amy enough. There's a theme developing in these reviews: Amy and David are amazing! When I became a first-time dog owner almost two years ago one of my greatest concerns was my pup Cerbe getting enough attention on days when I'm at work or traveling on business. After another member of our puppy training class recommended Amy she came out to meet my pack. Cerbe and I were both immediately won over--Amy asked the right questions to put my mind at ease, demonstrated she clearly has a good understanding of dog psychology and training fundamentals, and got down on the floor to engage with Cerbe immediately (much to his enjoyment). The last few years have been fantastic. I can honestly say that Amy's arrival is the highlight of Cerbe's day. When he hears the door open downstairs at the right time of the morning, whether I'm home or not, he sprints to see her (whereas otherwise he's a total Daddy's boy). My favorite "feature" of the service is that Cerbe goes out with roughly the same group of other dogs each day and gets to spend most of his time out off leash and engaged in very active play. I think this consistency in the group and focus on exciting play rather than "just a walk" is why he loves his time with Amy so much. Personally, I love the candid photos (Amy is a great pet photographer in her free time) that arrive by SMS regularly, particularly when I'm on a business trip or tied up at the office. Seeing my Cerbe sprint down a trail, chased by his best puppy friends, ears streaming in the wind is a cure to almost all ailments. In short, Amy and David have transformed what was my biggest area of concern about balancing professional responsibilities and dog parenthood into one of the best aspects of our pack's life together. Amy rocks!! We boarded our beloved dog with Amy and her husband for 7 days while we were away on vacation. Amy's professionalism, responsiveness, warmth, and obvious love for dogs totally won us over. While we were away, she sent us camera phone shots of our dog each day, so that we could see how he was doing. As per Amy's policy, our dog was never left alone so where ever she went, he went! I was happy that our dog was in a loving home environment, getting 2 long walks on the beach each day. I also really appreciate that Amy provides pick-up and drop-off for her boarding clients, which was a HUGE convenience and timesaver for us. LOVE LOVE LOVE Amy and Throw me a Bone! Amy has been walking Bella for a little over 8 months now, and she has been the most reliable and thoughtful dog walker/boarded we have ever had. You can tell that she genuinely loves the dogs she walks- she sends me picks of Bella on her walks- and cute notes of how there time together went, etc. She's also helped me with some of Bella's training (she is a certified trainer as well), which has been great to reinforce what we've learned with our trainer. Bottom Line- I've used a number of walkers, and I would never trust anyone with Bella that I didn't feel comfortable with- Amy puts us so at ease, I can't imagine using another service. read more

Amy is terrific--both with our dog, Eggs, and with us. Eggs is an Aussie shepherd mix who's wary of new people and hard to tire out. Amy knew right away how to use the right body language to make him feel comfortable, and she's getting him great exercise. Amy has been walking my 12-year-old lab mix for about a year, now, and has boarded her several times. Past dog walkers have had difficulty getting my dog to go with them, but not Amy.
