Keep in mind this is the second batch I got because my first order of bosco sticks, I had to bring back because they were uncooked! I used to love their pizza. They must have someone new working in the kitchen, because it's awful now. The thin crust is super thick. The supreme pizza was loaded with so many mushrooms, it's bitter. I have tried giving this place chance after chance to allow for a bad day or a replacement of the regular person in the kitchen being on vacation. We ordered two, 10" pizzas. One thin crust w pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms and one deep dish pepperoni, spinach and sausage on 1/2. It has no taste with the exception of the burnt crust taste that was on the deep dish pizza. I only realized it because it tasted burnt and I looked on the bottom and it was very dark. There wasn't much spinach and even the pepperoni had no taste. How? I don't know. It just tasted like dough and calories. This was the one on Chicago Rd. in Chicago Heights. I usually get pizza here when I'm at work and I've never had any complaints until today. I called to place an order and the first thing that was said to me was "we are no longer taking orders." Then he hung up before I could even ask why. I called at 8:30pm and they close at 2:00am. Yes it is Christmas Eve but I'm sure you agreed to work on holidays when you applied for the job. I received the wrong pizza and they refused to believe they had made a mistake, they even made me text them a picture of the pizza to prove it was wrong. Decided to try them tonight and we weren't disappointed. Went to the location on Joe Orr Rd and purchased a cheese, a sausage and mushroom, and an order of buffalo wings. Very tasty and I liked they used fresh mushrooms instead of canned like many pizza places do now. The wings were still piping hot when I got home and I live 15 min away from this location. Mixed feelings about this place. My kids and I love their pizza! But I promise you there's been several times when they over cook the wings and I've gotten them burnt! Like BURNT to the point that the wings shrink in size by A LOT! SO much that once I took a bite into one and nothing but grease came out. No chicken! Just a hard piece of oily hard skin?? I've had enough of this so decided to call and complain. I asked for a refund or a new order. They instead offered me a discount for "next" time. I've never been much of a complainer but the past two times ordering delivery they forgot to include the cheese sauce, then on top of it I call to have them correct this error and it takes another 35mins when the place is 10mins down the road. After a few years of having Dozeli pizza, we decided to give it a try again. Nice customer service on the phone, delivery was within stated time frame. But I'm disappointed! The pizza and the wings were not stored/ delivered in a heat insulated bag. The pizza guy had a large cardboard box with the pizza inside! It's 20 degrees outside, so from the short walk from the car to my door, the pizza was COLD! Not sure how many other pizzas were delivered before mine was, so because it was kept in a box, the pizza lost heat and arrived cold. I have NEVER seen pizza delivered in a cardboard box instead of an insulated bag. Just very disappointed because it was a waste of money to receive cold pizza and wings. Maybe this cardboard box delivery technique works in the summer, but definitely not in the winter. Maybe invest in those insulated delivery bags. SUPER DISAPPOINTED read more
