Food is good and prices are low but as far as delivery well that's the only down fall

Poor customer service. I first issued a complaint on fb through . I sent my photo. I then called the next day and was told that that was not their fb page. I asked for a manager and I was told that since I had complained on yelp that I would not be given another pizza. They lost a new customer. read more

I wanted to like this place,but it was so horrible.Only reason I ordered from here is because it delivered to the terminal I was at,not alot of places will in this area and I was out of groceries in my truck due to getting stuck in a blizzard but thats off topic. Ordered the stuff pizza,I was going get get the Supreme made into a stuff but the girl taking order said the peppers and mushrooms would make it soggy.Thank you for the warning,so I left those off,got sausage,pepperoni,onions.Order the inferno wings thinking ok hot,absolutely not hot.I got plain breaded wings,when I asked was informed inferno came breaded.I hate to say this but fried chicken is not wings and inferno means hot not plain.The pizza looked good but thats where it ended,sauce is tasteless and the dough is raw.A 35$ dollar pizza that is raw.Tried to call back but closed. Unfortunately I have to leave before they open or I would drop my trailer and bobtail over in morning with uneaten pizza minus one slice.But I am going to call them since nothing I got was edible read more

This review is for Thursday July 30, 2020 So before Thursday I last had pizza from this place back when I was teenage back in high school. I got to say everything seems the same, Just Pizza seems bit different, and I will explain what I mean, which will explain why a 4 star rating and not a 5 star. So My Lady and I ordered the XL combo deal, which brings the following: XL Pizza, with 1 topping. 12 piece chicken, and french fries and a soda, typically comes with RC soda, but they were nice and substituted for ginger ale like soda. We as well ordered fried cauliflower. The pizza from then and now I have to say in opinion, it was much more greasier back then, but not as greasy now. so yes it is slight greasy but not your dripping grease if that makes sense to say. So I would judge it more depending on the meats you put on it as some are greasier than others. The Fried chicken was fried just perfect, so there is that crispy taste when you bite into the chicken whether a breast , wing, or leg. It is not overly fried, unlike other establishments that reuse the same oil over and over again, you do not get that with the way this chicken tastes. The Fried Cauliflower was okay, not greasy or over fried, it was perfect in our opinion. The french fries were fired to golden brown, not over or under cooked. The sides that they give you with your order is the Valentino sauce, which we did not use at all. They as well give a marinara Sauce, which my partner tried and said was ok, I did not personally have any. So the reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars, as I agreed with my lady, they are not the best, but they are also not the worse we have had. So I felt 4 stars was a good rating for them. Overall customer service was good, not issues with phoning in what so ever. The delivery person was very nice as well and on time with out pizza. We would definitely order from these guys again in the near future. read more

Most people in East Chicago usually think of Verona's or Tony's for pizza, but Pizza Mex (which has been in the city for a few years now) is a pretty strong contender for the Bomb-Ass Pizza title. Pizza Mex serves up a pretty good pie, especially for the reasonable pricing ($23 will get you their largest pizza with one topping plus 18 pieces of chicken, an order of fries, and a 2 liter of your choice). Their chicken is also pretty nice; it pales in comparison to KFC, but it's a great accompaniment to a big delicious pie. Pizza Mex is a good place to go to get a decent pizza at a decent price. It also goes great with RC Cola, which as we all know, is only good when you have it with pizza. read more

We've ordered from getting the Giant pizza and the 16 piece chicken with fries n pop for $30. Are chicken so small one piece was fine in 3 bites. Not so sure if I'll go through them again. I'll probably open the bag in front of them and not pay them next time if it looks anything like that again. Smh such a shame. Love this place. Been going for quite a while and always had pleasant experiences. Only once did they mess up on our order since they were really busy but they were really nice and went out of their way to make it up. Love their pasta as well! read more

Better than Aurelio's thin pizza. Fries would go way better if they had Tony Chachere's seasoning salt. Would I eat from here again? Maybe try their fried fish or shrimp. read more
