The birria was the best I've ever had. Very robust flavors in the consume. Chips and salsa were so delicious. I've heard their breakfast tacos are stellar. Will be going back often.

I'll admit; the restaurant doesn't have a lot of vegetarian options which is a bummer thing. At the time of my visit, the only option that was available seemed like the Latin Breakfast plate so I went with it. And it exceeded my expectations so I felt compelled to write about it. The guy upfront was quite quiet. He didn't really greet me upon my arrival and yet once I started conversing with him, I got to learn that he was quite kind. He patiently assisted me for some of the menu items as I wanted to know which ones had meat and which ones didn't. Once I settled my eyes on the Latin Breakfast plate, I told him of my choice and paid for it. He then said It will be about 10 minutes". I was the only customer and he didn't appear to have any online or to-go orders so he got my food going right away. And yes, it was right on time when my food was ready. It was a meal which I needed to take a few bites out of before heading to the work assignment nearby so I ate 1/5 of it quickly before my shift. And oh boy, this plate is definitely way more than what it appears. The plantains were cooked to perfection with the texture that was to the point. The two sunny side ups were smaller but nice and perfectly over easy. And the refried beans' seasoning (although they looked a bit dry at a glance) were creamier than they appeared; the seasoning of it was also to the point. Quite palatable. The town of Elizabeth doesn't have much to offer but this small and yet mighty latin restaurant has more than what you'd expect. It's a nice business to remember if you happen to be in town.

He was very attentive and didn't bat an eye when 13 women each wanted their own check and even took some group pictures for us which was really thoughtful. The chicken enchiladas here are amazing! They were full of flavor and came with a large side of refried beans and rice. The Italian margarita was really good as well but it came in a very small glass for the amount I paid. Most of my friends got a side chile rellano as their entree which is apparently on of their top dishes here. Overall it is has a classic Mexican restaurant ambiance with bright colors and large furniture. I will absolutely be back now that we live nearby.

I suppose they assume paying customers are stupid like when you order a large margarita and it's a small. They return the exact same drink but this time with much more ice to appear larger. While we are on the subject of margs....definitely THE worst marg I've ever tried to consume and you'll be sick the next day if you drink more than a few sips due to all the crap and sugar that is added. The restaurant itself is dirty, they don't care to even clean the outside, can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. This place needs a health inspection!

If you are not feeling ice cream they do have options for smoothies, slush chai tea, and coffee. I actually have never been to their physical location. I always just see them when I am at events around the area and they bring their food truck! I have heard that their pies are pretty good which you can get at the physical storefront. Definitely check them out. Friendly staff and pretty quick service. I am a fan.

Went to their food truck at the Kiowa rodeo. I sampled the Caramel Fudge Crunch and was shocked to…read moretaste peanuts (the flavor placard only featured chocolate and caramel drizzle). I then said such and was told (rudely) that it contains peanuts. I am severely allergic to nuts. Their flavors are listed on placards just stating the flavor w/ absolutely no indication of a nut allergen (which is illegal ). The only allergen signage I saw was in the back on the freezers, primarily out of view of customers and just said something about cross contamination I believe. Once I was told it was nuts I explained how it would've been nice for the allergen to be disclosed because I am allergic, to which the woman working responded with ZERO empathy, concern, or even a simple "sorry". Because of their carelessness I had to miss the majority of the event I paid for and go in an ambulance. Today we contacted the owner over the phone and were met with nothing but a rude, defensive and arrogant response. He took zero responsibility, never apologized, never sounded understanding, and blamed me (the girl who could've died) for the entire incident. This lack of disclosure and disregard for laws and consumer safety could have easily killed someone. Peanuts are the most common allergy ESPECIALLY among YOUNG CHILDREN. Imagine it was a 5 year old instead of me. Edit: I immediately contacted my parents and went to EMS. I was laughing because I was in shock and scared of going into anaphylaxis (laughter is a common defense mechanism). I was 17 at the time (18 now) and am extremely informed on how to manage my allergies and have been taught since a young age. Yes I should've asked BUT there should be some sort of allergy indicator on the flavor placard, which is all I'm asking for. I ordered another flavor along with a water as a means to wash down the allergen in my system (a technique that anyone with food allergies can recognize). Bottom line is customer service was subpar (never received an apology) and there should be some sort of indication of allergies ON THE FLAVOR PLACARD.
