Drove 45 minutes from Denver on Fathers Day to buy family breakfast. Ordered 4 meals - paid and waited. After about 10 minutes they asked me to pull up (there were 4 cars behind me at this point. After waiting 20 minutes since paying, I called the restaurant, spoke to a manager and asked why I've waited so long. The manager had no idea I was waiting or why. She said she would make it right. About 4 minutes later they brought out my food and said they gave me a cookie. SERIOUSLY. That was a slap in the face. If you feel a cookie is "making it right" after waiting 24 minutes for food, some additional customer service service training is needed. read more

I gotta say it- these Coloradans need to put some respect on Whataburgers name. This location especially is deserving of 5 stars and I've eaten here multiple times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'll drive the hour from Denver just to eat here it's so worth the trip. Food is always hot and fresh and the customer service is great too. It's always clean inside and out. I think it's funny when people post negative reviews for fast food joints. I mean, come on, they're not 5 star restaurants, it's fast food. Set your expectations very low. That said, I was impressed by this Whataburger! Its brand new (which could also mean they're working out some kinks, keep that in mind). The dining area and bathrooms were clean. But really what I liked the most was the outside area. Fun chairs to sit in, corn hole and giant connect 4 games and room to run around. It's great for kids and good for dogs. read more

It had been quite a day, involving a tire blowout and a long wait to get it repaired. Heavy snowfall gave the restaurant the aura of Christmas. It's Whataburger, so by definition it was open, but I had the place to myself. After a modest wait, I got to enjoy some warm, delicious fries, and a fabulous Whataburger With Bacon And Cheese. My drink was a little flat, but it was from ice melting - insulated cups were ruining the planet, or something. Anyway, it was exactly the kind of visit that keeps me coming back to Whataburger. I've been to this location twice. I won't waste my money again. The first time I had to wait a long time, and I had ordered ahead of time on their app. The gravy they gave me was only about 2 tablespoons in a large container. It was the consistency of water, and it was not edible. The person who prepared the order had to know that was not acceptable. Today I ordered ahead of time again on the app. They weren't very busy, but I still had to wait in line for over 20 minutes. That is unacceptable. Service is quicker in a sit down restaurant. I ordered a hamburger without onions. It had onions. I ordered a chocolate shake. They gave me a caramel latte shake. I ordered a large size of onion rings. They gave me a medium size. We really wanted to like this new restaurant. Went there last night for a burger and shake. They took our order in the drive through. We were the only car there. After pulling up to the window to pay, everything fell apart. The girl working the cashier left us waiting there for 10 minutes without at least opening the window to tell us we had to wait for something. One of the young mail employees was taking trips to the shake machine and gulping them down in front of us. If I was the owner, I would clean house...starting with the manager. He could of simply given me my money back (which was cash) but chose the route of being toxic. WTF is this nonsense? The Whataburger located in Monument Colorado is unique for at least two reasons--slow and poor customer service And for getting the order wrong. I was shorted 19.32 dollars of food. And the restaurant manager Joaquin said that there was nothing he could and that he was too busy. I contacted the head office and they wrote up a customer complaint ticket--but nothing has been done. It you like to b surprised by what you get in your bag--be sure to use this restaurants drive up . And if an error is found--don't be surprised if management doesn't correct it. read more
