I absolutely love DQ onion rings... but did I get ripped off...??? This is a somewhat new location tucked away in Acworth off Cowan road. Our first time going here... just went through the drive through. Husband got a Fudge Sunday... I know he liked it... it was gone before I could take a photo, Lol I too loved the Onion Rings I got... but at $3.19 for a 'regular' order... I was surprised that there was only 5 small rings in the bag... Check out the photos! So... what size is the 'regular' supposed to be??? I dumped out the bag at home and was shocked to see such a tiny order for $3plus... I did put them back in the little carton for the photo... that's why there's crumbs in the shot... Always gotten rings with entrée Food in the past... stand alone this seems crazy small.

These mfs got ants and can't get nobody order right never comin back

But my friends got mint and dulce de leche and neither thought there was enough flavor. We were also not huge fans of the texture. The line was really long and slow. Once we got to the front we understood why it was taking so long. I don't think we're going back, but it was interesting to try!

For parking, there's a small lot to one side of the stand-alone building on the other side of a small garage that's used for storage. There's also spaces available across the street (several antique store type retail nearby). Frozen Cow can be found in what appears to be a historic home - you enter via the front entry with tables to the right and the counter in a room to the left. There are menus in holders but you have to look for them - you'll want to review the process while your inline. As with other nitrogen-style dessert places, here they bring down the temperature of sweet cream using liquid nitrogen (which comes out as a cloudy gas that billows out of the bowl) while adding ingredients like fruit and/or chocolate, nuts, etc. to build out your portion. You can then top it with various items and whip creams for a delicious treat. The staff here are all fairly young and probably still in high school - super friendly and surprisingly efficient at taking and making your order. Overall a great experience and a fantastic dessert.

Several of us had the grilled cheese, though we all got them made differently. Mine had the tomato, bacon and pickle. There was a lot of cheese on every sandwich. We all enjoyed them. My wife ordered the Chicken Salad on croissant with bacon. Her sandwich was stuffed with chicken salad. The lemon whip milkshake was very thick and very good! My mother got the fruit stand milkshake with peach, strawberry and banana, she really enjoyed it. The deviled eggs were delicious, my favorite was the breakfast egg with a bit of waffle and maple syrup. The "Jerks" were very friendly and greeted us as we walked in and attended to us quickly. I do wish they had been a little more conversational with us about the shop, it was our first visit, it would have been nice to have heard a little about the place. It is all counter seating which is a throw back to traditional soda shops. It was well decorated and visually very interesting. The cases of classic candies were great fun. We had a lot of fun with the candy cigarettes! I walked out with a full size Chick-o-stick, which is a reminder of when I was young visiting the pool with my grandfather! Finally, the Lime Rickey is for the bold. It is very lime forward. Delicious, but made to be sipped. We will definitely be back. Excellent draw to downtown Cartersville!
