You can find Frozen Cow Creamery at 2870 Cherokee St NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. This is a somewhat awkward intersection where a few streets converge to cross the railroad tracks (unfortunate as when trains run you can't make some turns and the whole thing is a mess of backed up streets, especially during rush hour). For parking, there's a small lot to one side of the stand-alone building on the other side of a small garage that's used for storage. There's also spaces available across the street (several antique store type retail nearby). Frozen Cow can be found in what appears to be a historic home - you enter via the front entry with tables to the right and the counter in a room to the left. There are menus in holders but you have to look for them - you'll want to review the process while your inline. As with other nitrogen-style dessert places, here they bring down the temperature of sweet cream using liquid nitrogen (which comes out as a cloudy gas that billows out of the bowl) while adding ingredients like fruit and/or chocolate, nuts, etc. to build out your portion. You can then top it with various items and whip creams for a delicious treat. The staff here are all fairly young and probably still in high school - super friendly and surprisingly efficient at taking and making your order. Frozen Cow is the best ice cream in the area hands down. Made fresh from cream when you order it using liquid nitrogen. A ton of flavors and mix ins! My favorite is vanilla with caramel and waffle cone bits. It's an antique house with an outdoor area during the warm months. They also have a wood burning fire place inside! Everyone is quick and friendly when I go, despite being mostly college/high-school students they never have let me down with the service. read more

Cute looking shop and have lots of potential. But the flow of the space and service were strange. One of our order was chocolate mocha. First the ice maker made matcha ice cream. So we point out we ordered chocolate mocha, she kept repeating back to us saying "matcha" which we just told her that was incorrect. And then she made matcha again. Then the 3rd time she was making "chocolate mocha" she was about putting green matcha powder again. We had to scream out and stop her making the wrong one again. The tables did not have napkins or clean. The front seat in area is lack of lights, so looked dark and dingy. The ice creams' textures are lumpy and choppy. Again, I love the idea of hand-made local ice cream shop. They should spend a little more time and management efforts to improve in all aspects. We call it a blizzard on steroids and with the amount of options, everyone can get what their heart desires that day. There's even Dole Whip which is dairy-free, so there is truly something for everyone. There are coffee options galore as well allowing you to realize how good coffee and ice cream can go together (ice coffee options too!). The entire place is clean with water and a lot of good seating inside and on the front porch. Even though the parking situation is kind of bad it still is worth it. What a cute place on a convenient corner in downtown Kennesaw. I had so much hope. We walked in and there are menus near the door. The dining room is warm, inviting, and cozy. We moseyed up to the counter and ordered. There were two young men working and they were professional and hard workers. They went to work with the nitrogen to freeze the cream base and add our mixins. They don't have cones which is odd for an ice cream shop. It was expensive as well. The ice cream was disappointing. Although it had good mouth feel, the coffee was bitter and very unpleasant on the tongue. My friends ordered Almond ice cream and Irish Cream. All of us ended up throwing them away. I'd recommend going for real traditional ice cream in lieu of the nitro ice cream. read more

In a cute historic house. Delicious ice cream literally hand made in front of you. Employees were genuine and very welcoming.

Once you figure out what you have to do it's a really fun sensory adventure. Be prepared for blasts of nitrogen and a deep selection of hard to resist offers. I'd recommend knowing what you want when it's your turn with the Stir-Ista. Who gracefully hand crafts you selection as you watch. Service was great and very patient with my mother who was confused and needed additional handholding through the process. Frozen Cow Creamery - you make me melt! Hubs and I needed a pick-me-up and headed on over after some errands. To our surprise, FCC was packed when we arrived on a Sunday evening. The line was out the door and we waited maybe 30 minutes (maybe more?) to be served. The frozen treats were delicious, I really didn't mind too much. Of course, it would have been fantastic if we were in and out as we'd hoped. FCC makes each item to order which explains the wait time when they get a rush of customers. There was no organization with the way the line was flowing and it was hot hot hot inside that little house. I will say once you get to the counter it's very neat to watch your ice cream being made. The menu is huge - filled with pre-selected options or you can choose your own adventure and pick your own flavors/toppings/etc. We ordered a small brownie treat ($6.80) and a small strawberry cheesecake ($6.80). The strawberry cheesecake did not have enough strawberries for my liking and ate sort of bland - especially as compared to the brownie treat which was absolute perfection. They did put a small slice of actual cheesecake in the cup which was cool, but this one was not my fave and I wouldn't order it again. Back to that beautiful brownie treat. There were massive pieces of brownie in it, loads of caramel, and the nuts added such a great crunch. Not to mention my cup was overflowing. The other we received was barely full. We will absolutely be back and let's be honest I'll probably just get the brownie treat again. No need to fix what isn't broken! What a fun ice cream shop! It's a large house turned ice cream shop. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs and bar seating, including a ramp entry and steps. Off to the side they have some outdoor seating under the trees. I saw some bistro string lights strung around the house so I would love to see it lit up at night. We parked in front of the Depot where they have free public parking (directly across from Southern Museum) and walked towards the ice cream shop. We entered the building around 1:10pm-ish on a Thursday and there were 2 ladies behind the counter whipping up some ice cream for a group of 5-6 customers so we had a short wait. As soon as you enter, they have menus to browse near the door and plenty of tables and seating inside. Tons of cute cow decor and Kennesaw/Georgia decor. They also had a free cold water station on the counter for guests. We tried the small hot chocolate in a waffle cone and a small brownie treat. We enjoyed both! The price for a small "cow classic" was $6.80. The 2 ladies were nice and soft spoken but they weren't over the top welcoming. The menu was clear to read so I didn't have any questions or special requests but they didn't really ask much outside of my order or make any suggestions. They created our fun ice cream cow classics in a large bowl and using nitrogen to freeze it up. Both items we ordered were delicious! No shortage of brownie in my Brownie Treat. My son totally loved his chocolate waffle cone topped with plenty of whipped cream. Overall we had a great experience and I would return to try other flavors. Sadly I was not impressed. I drive by this place all the time when I go volunteer at the pet shelter down the road and I decided to stop by on my way back home. We ordered 3 small cups from the specialty menu. Tiramisu just tasted like almond extract. No cocoa, no coffee flavor...just plain almond. That's probably because the employee who originally made it could not be troubled to give even one half a fuck. She had a weird dead-eyed expression like she just did.not.care about anything. I don't believe in making employees smile, chat, make eye contact or whatever, but for almost $7, please include all of the things listed on the menu and don't leave half of my ice cream in the bowl because it takes effort to push it down in the cup and scrape the bowl a few times. I watched another employee carefully scrape everything out for another customer and it maybe took an extra 30 seconds (and the store was empty when we were there). After spending over $25, we should all be happy with our order and I was pleased that when I approached the employee who made my kids' orders and mentioned the missing ingredients and lack of flavor they went ahead and made me something else. So I'm giving 5 stars for the employee who remade my ice cream (and scraped the bowl to get it all in the cup) and my daughter's Smores and my remade (vegan base!!!!) Raspberry Delight. My son's Cherry Pie was pretty good but not as good as the other 2. It's hard to find decent vegan ice cream options when we go out so I may come back because they also have Dole Whip. read more

I visited Frozen Cow Creamery after a day of hiking at Red Top Mountain, and the ice cream was an excellent way to finish my day. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake as a small. The serving sizes are pretty big. I am not sure if the base flavors weren't mixed enough since there parts that were stronger and parts that lacked toppings. The whipped cream had a waxy texture and tasted extremely artificial, which was disappointing. Due to the nature of the ice cream, being made with liquid nitrogen, it did melt fast and my cup was dripping before i was done paying. I also ordered a pup cup for my dog which was adorable and included a condiment cup of whipped cream with dog treats inside. I went on a Tuesday around 2 pm and it was not busy at all! All together it cost $8 which I thought was pretty high, considering it was essentially just one ice cream. read more
