We live right across the street and come here about once every other week. We always order a blizzard with extra smarties/Oreos/etc., and pay for the extras. And every single time we get plain vanilla ice cream with a few smarties sprinkled on top. When we ask if we can get the extra smarties we paid for, the server rudely says 'Nope!'... 'you've gotta pay for those'. Then they proceed to get angry at us for asking for the thing we paid for. It's gotten to the point where the store is located 1 minute from our house, and we'd rather just drive the extra 10 minutes to the location across from McMahon; far better service, far better quality despite being the exact same chain, and worth the gas money despite the record gas prices. read more

Consistently disappointed. When you walk in, no one greets you, you can often wait up to 3-4 minutes before someone from behind the kitchen notices there's someone there and calls someone to the till. Very unprofessional staff, unpleasant experience all around. Portions are often disappointing, grill is down so no food except ice cream, etc. Avoid this location at all costs, plenty of better places to spend your money. read more

This DQ is in my hood and my usual time to visit this location is late at nite. For years - not matter what time I was there, the owner was there. Ownder is super nice, friendly, treated her staff well Not sure if the store has changed hands or not, but the manager that I encounter now on the late nite shift shows no resemblance to the owner. She is cold as ice, little respect for her staff - so totally understandable that the staff don't seem happy to be there. I started this review on June 29th because I was so unhappy with the service and quality of my food. However, after eating at this location for 25+ years, I felt that one bad experience did not warrant a negative review. Tonite I returned, again late in the evening and had the same negative experience. Quality of food matches the cold as ice attitude. I sincerely hope YOU have a better experience at this location than me. For myself, I will from now on, take the extra minutes and drive to the Dalhousie location. read more

We do come where often, especially when they have the 99cent blizzard. This instance I was in charge of dessert for Easter and was lazy, besides who doesn't love a DQ ice cream cake. We went with a blizzard cake instead of the regular to try something different. It now explains the allergens in each layer of cake...still being unsure of the terminology, we asked the owner, who i super sweet and always there. In the cake we got the only part I couldn't eat was the cookie filling, which is fine by me. She was super helpful and able to answer any questions we had. I'm glad to see fast food places are becoming more aware of food allergies, other than peanuts. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to with the exceptional service I had today. I received my food with standard service. I wasn't super thrilled with my chicken sandwich-it was a bit too much on the dry side. I'm not normally one to complain but my husband convinced me to let the staff know. The girl at the front was very nice and got a supervisor right away. Without hesitation the supervisor apologized and offered me a new sandwich. They brought a new sandwich to my table, and the manger came out to apologize herself. It was refreshing to have such great customer service and it really stood out to me, so had to write a review! read more
