You'll also need about 6-8 treatments to get the full results with maintenance afterward. The treatments are like the cherry on top. There's a lot out there, but I'm selective having had some amazing practitioners across the water. My preference would always be a small independent, ideally with a sole owner, friendly and interested staff, all of whom who are passionate about their products, with skills that really make the difference to one's day. Charmaine fits my bill. So far I have had a couple of wonderful facials and, yes, glowed afterwards. I really saw an improvement. Owing covid I've not enjoyed a facial for a few years, but even so... Also some needle-work, just one session to help with some facial redness, mild rosacea at times, age spots and some spider veins around nose and chin. There has been a great improvement in all areas. The salon is small, not too small. With a relaxing lounge. Music in rooms is adjustable which matters to me. Decor is attractive, relaxing and tasteful. Treatments such as: IPL Lumecca for redness and sun damage/Fractora RF Needling (anti ageing)/Forma Skin-tightening and Bodyfx Treatments (for spot fat reduction) also offered. They sell the products they use, and much more: all reputable and worthy: creams, serums, etc. Zo by Zein Obagi for example. I also had a very interesting test done before hand. $75 and it gave a detailed description in pictures of my skin today. A good thing and, with expert help, I now know better how to improve and stop the rot! I'd had one done about 8 years' ago. The equipment has improved immeasurably since then and I was actually happy to see where things stood years' on. I'd certainly take Charmaine's advice on improvements that can be made relatively easily within a budget. I would trust her evaluation and any recommendations even though we've been together for a short of time. I know 10 out of 10 when I see it! I look forward every time to entering their door. So glad to have found them, tucked away, but downtown central in a lovely area in the inner harbour next to the Grand Pacific hotel. So glad they got through the pandemic and are still thriving in Victoria for us.

I was so impressed with both her professionalism and her warmth. The Spa only serves one client at a time so it makes for an even more tranquil environment. I have had several Gel manicures and have been impressed with the care Emily takes and the quality of her work. My nails look beautiful even after three weeks of gardening. I'm fussy about cleanliness so was so pleased to see that the instruments are sterile and files etc. are one time use. I have also had an eyelash tint and perm. Emily made the experience seem less. She was so gentle I started to doze off. Again the results were beautiful. I can't recommend this Spa highly enough and primarily because of Emily.
