Thankfully, as he pulled into the parking lot and not driving on the highway his car had a front suspension failure that left him stuck. Calling me from 4 hrs away left me feeling helpless as a dad. Thanks to Google and luck from above we found Cheever's Towing and Ron's Auto. We were in a position where we had no choice and could have been easily abused (think of the movie Vacation). I am writing this bc of the exact opposite. Both companies when out of their way to help me help my kid. Ron himself looked over the car, quickly got parts the next day and the car back on the road. We were in a bad situation and somehow feel better about it as he is leaving to go back to college with that same car. Honest, good people. Literally would trust them with anyone of my family cars. They had the truck till Tuesday charged her 100 and said they bleed front brakes. Looked at calipers and rear drums quoted her 800 for a brake job. Told her it was ok to drive how it is thou. It takes 1/4 mile to stop at 50 mph. The front rim is seized on rotor and brakes go to floor. How did they check calipers if wheel won't come off. They saw a young woman and ripped her off for 100. Tried for another 800. I will not being doing any business with them and don't recommend anyone else does.
