Very good prices for wonderful care and boarding. My 10 year old cavalier king Charles spaniel always comes home happy and relaxed.

I've been taking my dogs Layla, Rocky, Daisy, and Cali here for quite a while now. And I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I understand that dogs are kind of wild members of your family to take care and understand that they can be stressed out about going to a place that is not home but The staff and especially management have been nothing but transparent and communicative to me! I understand that one of my dogs (Layla) is a younger pup with LOTS of anxiety but the staff here does their absolute best to try and make her feel at home! And even to my non social dog (rocky) I just know they try there best to make him feel at home there. I know this young staff and young management team tries their absolute best and that is all I can ask for with such a big crew of dogs coming in and out! I highly recommend!

I have recently been taking my 9 year old husky to Dr. Boyd's for daycare these last few weeks. I was weary in the beginning because their manager Izzy was not very communicative when I was asking about rates. I called one day and she was supposed to email me over the prices but never did so I sent over an email because I was at work and wasn't able to make a phone call. No response. I finally was able to call and the receptionist was able to send over the prices. Despite not being allowed to tour the facility, I decided to try out a half day of daycare and when I picked him up he seemed like he had enjoyed it. I took him back I believe 3 more times. Two of which were full days. Last night, after picking him up at 7pm from a full day of daycare, I noticed that he had two raw/bloody spots on both paws in the same area. I called and the receptionist informed me that the handler noticed the blood only on one paw. I asked how this could've happened. She said because he was scratching at his door. I was confused because I was under the impression that my dog played the whole time and isn't being kenneled up. They informed me that they kennel all of the dogs at 4:30 and then have another potty break around 6-7pm. Half days are 4 hours long and I bring my dog in at 1:30-2pm and pick up at 5:30-6pm. This means that he doesn't get his full 4 hours if he's being kenneled at 4:30. I mentioned this to the receptionist and she said, "yeah we recommend that you bring the dog earlier in the day so he can be out the whole time." Unfortunately, that doesn't work with my schedule! She also tried to tell me that my dog had anxiety. Any person who knows my dog knows that he DOES NOT have anxiety. She said he was kenneled in a wing where a lot of people are walking back and forth so he can see everyone so that's why he was scratching at the door. So they knew he was scratching but ignored him and let his paws go raw! What's even more irritating is that the handler knew at least one of his paws was bloody and didn't even inform me when I picked him up. He's an all white dog so of course I'm going to notice blood on his paws. Today, I took my dog to get groomed and I of course told the groomer to be careful with his paws. At pick up, the groomer told me she tried to put him in the kennel when she was done but he immediately started scratching and hurting his paws again. I have been taking him to this groomer for almost 3 years now and she said that he's never done this before. She said he's never had an issue being in a kennel before and that he's always super chill while waiting for me. She said today he was acting very nervous so she let him wait outside of the kennel. When I got home, I took him on a short walk and he immediately had diarrhea. His poops are always solid so this was a huge surprise to me since he's been eating his regular food. It just makes me wonder if anything else happened while he was at Dr. Boyd's. If you're thinking about taking your dog to Dr. Boyd's, make sure you get every little detail about how they operate. Or better yet, don't take your pet at all. I told my friend who has taken her dog there and she was completely unaware that they kenneled dogs at 4:30pm. She was told that they play until 7pm. Lastly, I still haven't received a phone call from a manager like I was told but I can't say I'm surprised.

The red patch on his nose.

Got recommended this place. We had them watch our 6 month old Belgian Malinios on 2 separate days for about 8 hr each day. First day seemed ok, except his fur / skin was really sweaty and unlike him. Second day he had this patch of missing fur and irritated his nose pretty bad. They said he spilled his food. He does try to bury his food but how long does something like this take? He was probably left alone for a decent amount of time for this to occur. The thing that irritated us the most was they said they would wave the puppy safe care fee this day with no reasoning after seeing his nose I understand why but they didnt even say anything just tryed to distract us with the "waived" fee. Safe to say i will never be coming back and will not recommend this place for my dog.

Brutus in his kennel, ready to go to the airport.

I had a very positive experience. I had to pick up Brutus for an early flight. I had to arrive at Dr. Boyd's at 5:30 am. I was worried that no one would be there to let me in. I called at 5:15 am to say I was on my way. I was told that a staff member and the dog would be waiting for me outside at 5:30 am. When I arrived the staff member and Brutus were outside and the staff member loaded up Brutus in my car and he made his early flight with no problems. I highly recommend Dr. Boyd's.

After seeing on social media advertising of this groomer, I felt the urge to secure an appointment instead of going to my previous Pom's groomer. And I am very very very happy with the end results! Location is downtown, there is a small parking lot but usually full - has with narrow spots and hard to get into since surround streets are one-way busy streets. I recommend circling and parking on 10th Ave for less of hassle. Fabiola is fabulous! She was so sweet, caring, attentive, and does an amazing job cutting fur. She doesn't rush each grooming and takes her time for a very quality cut. She also has a Pomeranian which made my experience feeling better because she knew exactly how to cut their fur. We even had conversations about Pomeranians and everything about our dog care life. My Pomeranian looks so beautiful and smelt wonderful when I picked her up. I asked for a trim, clean up the buttox area, and do cut the paws (like cat paws). She also knows how Pom fur is suppose to look like and she rounded out all the areas needed AND brought in the fur around the waist to give my Pomeranian a cinched look. For a bath, some treats, nails trim, and fur.cut for $115 - please tip on top, she does a great job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

She was thoughtful in this respect, & was attentive to our dog. Kristan was very kind to our lovely pet, was personable & attentive when we spoke on the phone, & was very accommodating with our baby as to having him at their dog day care center. On one night, our dog looked that he was not feeling well, & Kristan made a wise decision to have her staff member get our pet to a nearby pet hospital to get seen, after a few hours, baby was okay, & same staff member returned our sweet one to the dog club. Our sweet baby had trouble walking & was slipping on their smooth floor, & Kristan made sure to get some dog booties to fit his four legs to help to make him comfortable & to make him feel at ease with his walking, & this made a big difference on him. Several people took part in taking care of AmyJames, & I did not get their names. Thank you all at Doozydog!Club.

It was also great to get additional information and speak with the manager. I could really tell she cares about the dogs that come here and she made us feel at home. Passing by I had always seen the two play areas facing the sidewalk but had no idea they had a few more in the back. I like how the dogs can be in the front and people watch out the large windows but also decompress in the back. The kennel area for overnights was also well-kept and organized. Also pleasantly surprised at each dog's locker and the staff's thorough physical checks of each dog and logging of their daily activities. I would say the only thing I had an issue with was logging into the webcam on my phone but seems to work on a computer. Also you can tell they use bleach from the smell but that is a good sign that they keep things sanitary. Other than that my dog seemed to enjoy his time there and we bought one of the packages so we will be back.

From the moment we spoke, she was kind, caring, and incredibly helpful. When I arrived, she examined the dog's coat and clearly explained the process and services included. I was pretty disappointed to see many of the same pup toys and supplies that you can find anywhere else, but for a higher price. The woman that was working wasn't very friendly and looked like she would rather jump off a cliff than be there. Not encouraging, but I still decided to buy my pup a cookie. I didn't realize until he couldn't eat it that it was actually rock hard. He tried licking the frosting off, but I don't think he liked it because he barely had any. I was extremely disappointed. You wouldn't serve old/stale food to humans, so why would you do that for pups? Should've gone with my gut and not bought anything from here.

We were walking back to our car after a delicious breakfast at The Waterfront Bar and Grill when we happened by Doggie Style so we popped in. We're suckers when it comes to our two dogs Ozzy and T.J. They are two very spoiled girls! A few steps into the store was a big display of homemade (organic, I think) dog cookies. They were made with all natural ingredients such as sweet potato. We picked up two each for the doggos. Two Halloween themed and two ice cream themed, a cone and a bar. When we arrived home the dogs sniffed out the treats right away. Ozzy is a smaller dog with small teeth so we like to break her treats into smaller pieces. Holy crap! The Haloween dog bone cookies were hard as rocks! I had to chop them with a knife and it took some effort! T.J. is a big dog so she had no problem devouring hers. I can't speak to the grooming, but the variety of treats, toys and accessories for pets was impressive. A little on the pricey side, but that is to be expected in this type of bougie pet stor.
