This is an update to a review I left back in January 2026. I appreciated that Dr. Willis reached…read moreout a number of times to see how they could make this right with me. Considering I still have health concerns that I'd like to correct I felt he provided a sincere concern on how to rectify the situation. As a business owner myself that was is important to me. I am willing to go along with the program designed for me (which is much different than the first time around). I cannot say if it is going to make a difference since it's only been a week. Health issues can be very complex and achieving the desired results can and usually does take many paths. I encourage anyone seeking optimal health to at least talk with AFM with their concerns and ask the honest questions and do the research on understanding your individual health concerns. Thank you Dr. Willis for responding to my previous review.

I spent nearly $11,000 with Advanced Functional Medicine seeking treatment for mold-related illness…read moreand left feeling completely misled. I was not there for treatment of my autoimmune condition--I already had a neurologist managing that. I came specifically for help with mold illness, yet nearly every symptom I reported was attributed to my autoimmune disease while my mold concerns were never addressed. At the time, I was incredibly sick and so desperate to feel better, so I was willing to try almost anything that gave me hope. Because of that, it didn't take much for me to agree to finance treatment. I deeply regret that decision. My initial consultation was with Dr. Willis, but after that I never saw him again. Every subsequent appointment I had was with other staff members, such as a nutritionist. I later learned that Dr Willis was a chiropractor rather than a functional medicine physician, and there was no physician involved in my care who could prescribe medications. Most appointments were phone calls that consisted of me crying and being told to give the 'treatment' more time while my health continued to decline significantly. I also experienced repeated problems with my 'medical records' and the administrative side of my care, including errors in medical documentation and billing. In my experience, the entire process was disorganized and added to an already overwhelming situation. After months of treatment, I had accumulated a large loan while my condition continued to worsen. Ironically, I am now doing significantly better under the care of a physician who actually specializes in mold-related illness and toxicity. This experience left me feeling devastated and taken advantage of. This is my personal experience, and I hope others carefully research who will be treating them, understand their credentials and scope of practice, and think carefully before making a significant financial commitment before signing anything.

I did the research ahead of time and specifically chose her based on her Bio and other reviews. She didn't disappoint. So Im leaving a review for others to know specifics and make a very informed decision. Victoria is so kind and gentle in her care. She made sure to tell me everything she was doing as she did it. She was very gentle, even when she was pulling apart my toes (full body, yep, toes included) and I had a sprained toe, she didnt hurt it and she didnt know it was sprained. While I was the last patient of her day, that probably helped in me having so much time with her as she never once hurried me or tried to rush me. I am a chatty box sometimes, especially when I am trying to get in years of questions about different things on my body. She did one minor procedure on me and was so cautious and made sure not to overdue it so I would have the best results. I highly recommend Victoria Bowman - she is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with a Master's in Physician Assistant Studios. I always want the person working on me to be super knowledgeable and she was. If I need any further dermatological procedures or have questions, I wouldnt hesitate to go back but she gave me an A+ for my skin care so I have to wait 2-3 years for the next appt. I posted the photo to show how minimal and clean the freeze was so I dont have bad white spots once the boo boo falls off.

Dr Dabo began by prescribing me what I later found out to be children's doses of migraine medication. To no surprise they didn't work. He then prescribed me Valium and dilaudid. My pharmacist and I agreed these were not appropriate. So I requested alternate meds because I didn't want to take benzodiazepines or opioids to treat my migraines. His response was 3 more Valium prescriptions... He then gave me a referral to neurology. I called 2-3 times a week to check on my referral because I was still experiencing daily migraines. I ended up picking it up in person and dropping it off myself. On the paperwork I can see that they've been sending it to the wrong fax number after I tried to give them the correct one multiple times. 1 month of migraines later and my neurologist tells me I need an adults dose of my medication and to ask Dr Dabo to update the prescription. He refused and told me to ask her for anything I need. Not to mention he is impossible to get a hold of because the poor acupuncturist answers all of his phone calls and leaves messages for him that he doesn't respond to. Skip this "Doctor"

What can I say about Wildcraft Medicine?…read more Dr. Emily at Wildcraft Medicine has probably, 1) added years to my life and 2) quality to the ones I have left. I went in to see Dr. Emily because I was having an increasing number of reactions to foods that I hadn't experienced before. Small things like my throat itching when I drank grapefruit flavored sparkling water or when I started to develop a slight allergy to white rice. I'm Japanese. That's ridiculous. I've had severe allergies so at first it wasn't surprising that I was developing more but I started to hear more and more about gut health and it's increasing importance so i booked an appointment. During our meeting we went over current allergies, reactions and my history with asthma. She knowledgeably prescribed me a few tinctures that I was instructed to take twice a day and placed me on an elimination diet to test what I was actually allergic to. In the end, the tinctures worked and the diet allowed me to figure out my true allergies. While I still have kept some, a majority of my old allergies have disappeared completely and I no longer have to avoid the starchy goodness that is sticky white rice. My rescue inhaler use has declined drastically and my constant bloating has virtually vanished. If you've tried regular doctors and they haven't helped or just want to be healed from the inside out rather then by prescriptions and pharmacies, I have the highest recommendation for Dr. Emily Poccia and her practice at Wildcraft Medicine. I only wish I had known about her sooner, but I couldn't be happier with the results I'm experiencing now.

So that was enough for me to quit with him..but then my husband went back to him over the next year and had to get a prescription for a few various issues.... he had to literally drive to the office (30 mins each way) to sit there and stare at the office staff to get anyone to help him.
