So impressed with the San Diego ENT staff, Lake, Joseph and the very thorough and kind woman that did my in-room check in (forgive me in not remembering your name), and Jennifer Price, PA-C who cleaned my ears. Jennifer Price, PA-C Rocks and HipHops! (though neither genre' is what is was when I DJ'd both in the late '80 with vinyl, but my boomer self digresses...). I'll never get my ears dewaxed at my regular Dr.'s again. SD ENT has a vacuum and camera system that precludes the scraping and lavash-ing, if you will, that has always been done to me prior. The vacuum system allows for effective and painless wax removal (I had some difficult stuff to remove). Plus, Jenn hipped me to an Otoscope gizmo wherein I can check my own ears for wax buildup, so as to not have to deal with prolonged, impacted build-up removal in the future. Thanks so much, SD ENT! Wow what a team! This office is exceptional and very responsive. Dr. Bareiss was gentle, kind, and made me feel like a patient in her care versus a number generating revenue. She was thorough and identified with only one visit with her, through correct testing, the problem I'd been dealing with for months! Additionally, I had several concerns I needed addressed after our initial appointment that meant I had to call the office. For many of us calling a medical office is a dreaded task because we are often met with a "you are bothering me attitude" and rudeness especially if we are not speedy Gonzales in our approach and interactions with the staff. This was NOT the case with this office when I had to call more than once for answers. I was treated with patience, understanding, respect and a willingness to help that was exceptional and truthfully rare in many medical offices today. Moses, in the front office, was incredibly helpful for getting me to the right person to answer my questions both times I called. He understood how deep my concern was and responded accordingly in a way that put me at ease and spoke volumes of his genuine care for patient's needs. Furthermore, his calm demeanor, friendliness and willingness to help is such a breath of fresh air compared to the "norm" when calling a medical office. Briana was another staff member that was exceptionally awesome in getting me answers to questions I had concern over and was very expedient in doing so because she knew how concerned I was and cared enough to get answers for me quickly, versus days of waiting, and quiet my concerns. i have to sat the service one receives is great. My doctor was awesome. Unfortunately, the service supporting the service is not great. I have visited the the group several times. They exceeded my expectations every time. The people at the counter were awesome. I tried to schedule a new appointment. I used the website. The website said I would get a response. That didn't happen. I later called the group. I got a message saying they were out to lunch (I manage service organizations across the world and No organization I have run was ever not available during working hours. I then called in and receptionist was very upset that i didn't appreciate their service. If this was my company I would fire her fairly immediately. She actually hung up on me saying she didn't like my "presentation". No apology, no attempt to make things better and make the incredibly simple act of makin an appointment. I think the organization is good. The help is less that good. read more

I decided to get a second opinion about my Meniere's Disease diagnose, so I went to this wonderful office. I got the personal peaceful and professional attention to my concerns that I was looking for in a Doctor's office. I also got a new solution to help me cope with the discomfort that comes with the beginning go hearing changes. I now have a single hearing aid that Dr Yopa recommended and I am so pleased. I am young for starting to us this devise but I now know that will be a great thing. It is easier to transition to a hearing aid when you are younger. An excellent overall office! I came here to see MD Reuther for my nose and breathing difficulties. I did not have anything done cosmetically/aesthetically but primarily had issues breathing with each nostril depending on the situation. Dr. Reuther was awesome, explained things simply, made the concepts clear to me (even showing me her results with scopes) and was very confident in her skills. That was all I needed to give her my trust, and she performed as expected. Masterful. 2+ weeks in and I can breathe quite easily through both of my nostrils, regardless of my situation and am quite happy with my decision to go forward with Dr. Reuther. I will also note, her office staff are excellent, professional, and very helpful throughout my whole experience. Helpful how? Well, they (Lake) made my initial appeal letter to my insurance company quite convincing, which got my procedure back on track despite my insurance questioning the validity/necessity to even have the surgery done. I would not recommend San Diego ENT because they lie to you! I made an appointment by phone and was NOT told that I won't be seeing a doctor. When I got there, they took me to a room with a physicians assistant! They were going to charge me $200 for the visit and another $200 for the exam where they stick something in your nose but the physicians assistant and I agreed that a discount be applied since I was not told I would be seen by a doctor. When I got to the front desk, Lake was very rude and told me that he will be charging me full price of $400 even though the assistant and I agreed to a discount. I told him I will pay the $400 but it will reflect poorly on the company. He then says to me "I'll charge you only $200" but you're not welcome to come back here. I couldn't believe he said that! Long story short -- I was given a 21-day course of antibiotics which did nothing to relieve the issue I was having. The real treatment could have begun with imaging. As I was leaving, he agreed to order the imaging with a third party company but when I called to confirm, he said he changed his mind and told me to go elsewhere. So not only did he lie to me but I paid $200 for nothing and now I have to start over somewhere else. Which reputable doctors office handles a patient this way??? I'm absolutely convinced that all the glowing reviews here are fabricated! I posted this same review on Google and when I go to a different browser, Google hid it. If you decide to use this place, I highly recommend asking for a DOCTOR so you're not duped into seeing a physicians assistant because If you're like me, you will only see a doctor when you're forced to. A physicians assistant is NOT a replacement for a doctor and every patient has the right to know before they arrive that they won't be seeing one. Not only was this a major inconvenience, but I continued to suffer with sinus issues and I have to spend more money out of pocket to find someone else. Thanks San Diego ENT! read more

Marsha is such a caring doctor that is willing to spend adequate time with her patients in order to make you feel comfortable with the visit and results. She was very down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. She helped brain storm with me, pulled out the computer and showed me some things I haven't read about and made sure to thoroughly explain everything until I felt comfortable with my visit. I would venture to say she is probably one of my favorite doctors I've seen. Absolutely top notch, beautiful facility, and very kind people. Besides the MD, the rest of the staff was extremely accommodating and very nice which unfortunately isn't very common in the medical space. I would HIGHLY recommend this office! read more

Dr. Reuther (and staff) are the best! Always friendly, always punctual (even when I'm not) and always very thorough. I went into San Diego ENT last fall to figure out why my voice had been so raspy, assuming it was due to allergies. Dr. Reuther discovered that I actually would need vocal cord surgery to remove a polyp that had developed. She, along with the staff made sure I felt comfortable leading up to the surgery, during the process, and during the post-op recovery.
