However, my husband, who is a retired and fully disabled veteran, was referred to this office by the VA for local dental services. They are one of the very few, if not the only, providers in the area who coordinate with the VA, allowing veterans to receive care without having to drive to Austin. After his positive experience, I decided to schedule an appointment as well. We both saw Dr. Matthew O'Neil, and I almost hesitate to mention his name only because he was so phenomenal and don't want to share. He was kind, professional, and had an excellent bedside manner. He asked thoughtful questions and provided clear, thorough answers to everything I asked. A staff member, either the office manager or benefits coordinator, also met with me and walked me through a detailed cost breakdown on an iPad. She explained what my insurance would cover, what my out-of-pocket costs would be, and gave me the flexibility to prioritize or decline any services. She was incredibly kind and made the entire process feel comfortable and pressure-free. In the end, I chose to move forward with all recommended treatments because the pricing was comparable to other providers in the area, and I felt very confident in Dr. O'Neil's expertise. Today, I had two fillings, three crowns, and a deep cleaning completed under IV sedation, as I have a serious fear of dental procedures a local anesthetic is hit or miss for me. My appointment began within 5-10 minutes of arrival, and so far I've experienced little to no pain. The customer service has been outstanding. I'll be returning in two weeks to have my crowns placed, and based on my experience so far, I feel very reassured about my decision. Highly recommend!

I never had to go back for adjustments. it's the most painful thing I've ever put in my mouth! I believe they had an obligation to discuss the chances of failure prior to doing the work. instead they handed me a form outline cost and I signed it! The rooms are clean, well lit, and situated with modern equipment. They let you choose what Netflix movie to watch (careful to choose a laughter filled comedy with your mouthful). It was first appointment with this office, so it was extended, but the digital, full mouth scan was useful for ordering a night guard. No gooey mouth-mold for me! The hygienist, dental assistants, and even billing folks were all outgoing and friendly. The dentist was gregarious and thorough, and I feel that they really care. Appointments are really easy to get and they're flexible if you need to cancel. I like that they put Netflix on for you while you wait or are being worked on. It eases some anxiety over someone working in your mouth. I think they work with relatively new hygienists and assistants and I enjoyed the pleasant conversation between my assistant and the doctor yesterday while my teeth were being cleaned. It showed a real camaraderie between them and the excitement of the assistant with all she's learning. The doctor was a little behind but again, having something to watch kept me entertained. They're a great service and I'm glad it's not too far from home.

I was naive enough to believe they could just pop my crown back on however Ideal was very diplomatic and caring in letting me know the issues that they found with my tooth. The only qualms I had is I had to watch Golden Girls while they played in my mouth. Luckily they let me change the channel so I asked if they had the playboy channel, joking of course. They were extremely thorough with saving my tooth however the whole ordeal took 3 hours. While I'm not an expert in teeth I thought the appointment ran long and I left feeling like I got punched in the face by a midget in a "tapout" shirt. Overall, the process was detailed and their work which included numerous xrays remedied my situation. The price was disappointing however that was more due to my crown coming off and having to get another one as I was in Kansas City when I got the last one so the warranty didn't roll over. I believe you can have faith in this practice that they have your health in mind when taking care of you. While I hate going back, I trust them.
