The setup at this one is typical. The people were nice enough. There is a definite language barrier and I always do my best to communicate exactly what it is I'm looking for and make sure there is clarity on the services being provided. Given this, I went in to try the 60 minute body work session. I asked if this included full body and feet and they said yes. Barely. The guy had absolutely no technique or skill and I could tell he did not know what he was doing or how to properly asses where the muscle tension was or how to properly massage. I had to basically direct the entire massage and it was hardly relaxing. They did not include the feet, barely did the arms and didn't even do a turnaround during the session. No head or face, no reflex stretching, no reflexology.... On another note, they tried to upsell this $5 add on for "essential oils," which was literally a jar of Crisco Coconut Oil that I wouldn't even use for cooking. If you're wondering, this isn't the properly refined version of coconut body massage oil - you can literally find this Crisco jar on the grocery store shelf. Gross. Anyway, the 60 minutes cost $40 + tip. I MIGHT give this place another shot and ask for a different massage therapist or just try the regular chair reflexology session, which they had multiple chairs lined up for and seems like their main service. Advantages: the place was clean. Good, quiet location. Convenient parking. Inexpensive prices. Seems like nice staff. If I ever go back, I'll post an update.
