Absolutely 5 star - it's funny how locals don't know this exists. I wouldn't either except for walking by and seeing the sign and having some extra time in my schedule. Everything the other Yelpers say is spot on. Love the neck pillow, the music filled headphones that transport you to another place, the eye pillow, the comfy chairs and the exquisite reflexology. I'll definitely be back and try the other services. Heck, I'd even recommend this in lieu of dropping $ on happy hour drinks / appetizers as a way to decompress from the day. It's so hectic in this area, energy wise and population wise, you need every last bit of help to stay centered in your core. This is definitely the place to help achieve that! read more

I went here recently and it was not good. I have been to many many many reflexology massage places all over the West & East Coast and usually find a regular spot that I'll visit frequently. The setup at this one is typical. The people were nice enough. There is a definite language barrier and I always do my best to communicate exactly what it is I'm looking for and make sure there is clarity on the services being provided. Given this, I went in to try the 60 minute body work session. I asked if this included full body and feet and they said yes. Barely. The guy had absolutely no technique or skill and I could tell he did not know what he was doing or how to properly asses where the muscle tension was or how to properly massage. I had to basically direct the entire massage and it was hardly relaxing. They did not include the feet, barely did the arms and didn't even do a turnaround during the session. No head or face, no reflex stretching, no reflexology.... On another note, they tried to upsell this $5 add on for "essential oils," which was literally a jar of Crisco Coconut Oil that I wouldn't even use for cooking. If you're wondering, this isn't the properly refined version of coconut body massage oil - you can literally find this Crisco jar on the grocery store shelf. Gross. Anyway, the 60 minutes cost $40 + tip. I MIGHT give this place another shot and ask for a different massage therapist or just try the regular chair reflexology session, which they had multiple chairs lined up for and seems like their main service. Advantages: the place was clean. Good, quiet location. Convenient parking. Inexpensive prices. Seems like nice staff. If I ever go back, I'll post an update. read more

Setting aside aesthetics, this establishment deserves 5 stars. I wanted to give it a try for several reasons: it's close to home for me, I bought gift cards to give for Christmas not knowing if it's any good, and the prices for services are great. So I booked a 60 minute reflexology massage to see if I should actually give out those gift cards. When I walked in, my first thought was that they could make the waiting area more pretty and they should add some spa music. I removed my coat and was led through the door to an open, dark room. There were several (big and cozy) massage chairs lined up, much like the way a nail salon has pedicure chairs lined up. There were people in several chairs getting their reflexology massages. I was skeptical. I was seated on a stool. After I removed my boots & socks, my feet were placed in a small tub of warm water. Very soothing. My massage therapist began to massage my neck, back, arms and head. It was about 10 minutes and felt great! Then, after he dried my feet, he had me sit in the very comfortable massage chair. He reclined it all the way back. He put a warm, lavender-scented neck pillow behind my neck and an eye mask over my eyes. Then he put headphones over my ears that streamed pleasant music! Loved it! After that he proceeded with my reflexology massage. What can I say except "OMG!" Best massage ever! I think I was so relaxed I dozed off, which I usually don't do. I will be a regular there! These employees deserve a big tip; they work hard and they do a great job. I can't wait to go back again! read more

This place is terrible, I went there for massage which turned out to be the worst massage I've ever received. The person was nice but had no clue what he was doing. Deep tissue doesn't mean applying your entire body weight. Just a deep lack of massage technique overall. The staff are too noisy, the headsets don't work properly, the place is not warm on a cold day and there is always a man sitting in the next chair coughing and on his phone. I came here in 2018 a few times and forgot about it for a while. After running a marathon, I came here again yesterday. With the new ownership, it is great! I had the 60 minute body message, asking the therapist to focus more on the sour muscles of the legs. She did a great job, and my leg felt much better now. Premium service for excellent prices! The people at Sunshine are extremely professional and kind. They cut no corners, offering the highest level of pampering. Their prices are much better than other businesses in the area offering similar services. For a $35, 1 hour foot reflexology, you get a neck and shoulder massage, along with other complementary bonuses such as a heated neck and eye pillow during your massage. We usually would drive to Westport for Reflexology so we are thrilled to now have this wonderful place just minutes away. read more

I gave Sunshine a very positive review when it first opened. Since then I have had too many bad experiences and therefore have no plans to return. There is no technique, just a rough and rushed "slapping" that isn't really massage, and most definitely isn't reflexology. Even when I have asked them to focus more on the bottom of the feet (which you would just expect!), they continue to spend too much time on the legs and top of the feet. The last two times I frankly couldn't wait for it to be over. They are now trying to up-charge by offering a coconut oil, but I can tell you it makes no difference. Finally, the last time I was there the music changed. It is no longer relaxing or soothing; too much of it sounded like bad elevator music. It's too bad they don't train their staff because the seats are comfy and they pamper you with scented neck pillows, eye covers, and headphones. But what good is it all if the foot massage sucks?
