I recently visited this office as a new patient. I want to start by saying the girl who brought me…read moreback to the exam room was very kind, friendly, and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Rutherford was also wonderful. Although the exam itself felt a little rushed, I still felt she was thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable Unfortunately, I most likely will not return because of my experience with the front desk staff. I work in a doctor's office myself, so I completely understand that the front desk can get busy with phones ringing and patients checking in and out. However, when I arrived, I stood at the desk for several minutes with absolutely no acknowledgment. No eye contact, no "we'll be right with you," nothing. One of the girls even got off the phone and still did not acknowledge me while I continued standing there waiting. Eventually, someone asked my name and handed me the iPad for my paperwork. After my exam, two of the front desk staff were sitting up front cuddling with each other with their arms wrapped around one another. Again, there was no professionalism, friendliness, or acknowledgment of me. The biggest issue came during checkout. One of the girls told me I owed $150. Thankfully, I had already verified my insurance benefits beforehand and knew my copay should have been $50. When I questioned it, she clicked around on the computer for a moment, then said I was correct and that I only owed $50. There was no apology or explanation. She was definitely rude and had an attitude after I told her that her calculation was incorrect. Had I not spoken up, I would have been charged an extra $100 that I did not owe. That experience made me question the accuracy and transparency of the billing process. I had actually been interested in scheduling additional cosmetic services such as laser treatments and microneedling. However, during my appointment, Dr. Rutherford mentioned that the "pregnant woman at the front desk" performs those services, and I realized she was one of the same staff members who had ignored me when I arrived. After my experience with the front desk, I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with additional services through the office. It's unfortunate because the clinical side of the office was positive, but the front desk experience left a lasting impression and is ultimately why I won't be returning.

If you are a woman in thier fifties who just wants to look a bit better during all your hormonal…read morechanges and has never ever bought into botox, but decides that it may be for you--run far away from this place. It was chosen on reviews and because how could a plastic surgeon associated company not know how to treat a middle aged woman's face? I have some puffy eyes when I eat too much salt and yes the years in the sun and genetics have given me some extra skin above my eyes. But I trusted that after seeing my face I would not be led astray on my very first botox experience. That all that would be taken into account and that my "experienced professional PA" would do right by my old face... Well, my gut was wrong on this one. I was told-- Baby botox and only in forehead-- upper-- and around eyes all very slight-great I think Ill just look refreshed. Well, now my eyelids have terribly lowered, my area below my eyes turned into a horrible wrinkly mess and I am someone that others can't look in the eye because I look so deformed.. I have Spock eyebrows, , one eye lower than the other and I am missing the holidays because I am so sad at how I now look. If you are already struggling with aging and not feeling yourself, wanting to accept all the years of fun in the sun and excess but think, hey, maybe I will just do something little--run far way from this place. DO NOT allow someone who says they know what they are doing inject poison into your face and make you look a hundred times worse. Educate yourself and find a true professional. I wish I did. I promise you it will be very hard on your self esteem at a time in life when this is already an issue. Thats what you will get if you put your trust in this place.

I was looking for a new place for injectable's and Rejuvenate did not disappoint. Once I booked my…read moreappointment on line, I was sent a link to fill out some paperwork. That seemed a bit long, but I understand why they ask so many questions and I'd rather do it at home than at the office. When I got there, the front desk staff was very friendly and the waiting room is beautifully decorated with great views. Maggie took me back to our room and we discussed past experiences and what I was interested in achieving. Afterwards she asked me to schedule an appointment in two weeks just to be sure I'm happy with the results. (If so, I can cancel.) That really impressed me. I will be back for a facial and future skin care needs.

Caitlyn (Lead Medical Aesthetic Injector) and Rachel (Para-Medical Aesthetician and Aesthetic…read moreInjector) are women who decided to open their own medical spa after seven years of working for someone else--and you will be delighted they did. When I first entered Hourglass Aesthetics, I was greeted with a sincere, friendly "Hello" and a smile from Caitlyn. Caitlyn and Rachel are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and I love that Hourglass Aesthetics is located in the Denver (Glendale) area. I originally came to Hourglass Aesthetics to get the NAD shot (which I now do weekly). This helps with "Feeling run down or not as sharp as before? With age, our body's natural levels of NAD+, an essential coenzyme for energy production and DNA repair, decrease. This decline can lead to fatigue and reduced cognitive function. Professional administration of NAD+ injections can help support cellular health and restore vitality." Also, ladies, this shot has been a miracle for my menopause!!! Since I've been taking this shot, I haven't had any hot or cold flashes, I'm sleeping better, and feel less fatigued. At Hourglass Aesthetics, these ladies also offer Micro-Needling Treatments w/PRP, PRP Hair Restoration (stimulates natural hair growth), Facial Enhancements (Glass Skin Facial, Botox, Lip Filler Sculptra, etc), Body Enrichment (Body Peel, Liquid BBL, Intimate Bleaching, Cellulite Reduction, etc), Skin Revitalization (Facials, Microneedling, Skin Consultation, Dermaplane, etc), and many other Vitamin Injections based on your needs. I also do the Glutathione Glow shots: to brighten skin, reduce puffiness, fade Melasma (which I have), whiten teeth, and support eye health. I highly recommend Hourglass Aesthetics for your beauty needs.

For one, the studio is such a cute office with a full window with a view of the mountains, so you will feel relaxed just sitting there in the chair with the view. The second is that Rachel is so knowledgeable and attentive when it comes to comfort, care, and execution. You can tell being an injector is a passion and not just a job just by the way she ensures the steps/approach taken with your skin is the best based on your individual needs. Talent and results aside, the office is quite sanitary with Rachel taking very thorough steps to ensure cleanliness as well (which is extremely important). I received the microneedling and PRF Injections and both services were wonderful with minimal pain but maximum results. If you're on the market to find a reasonably affordable yet wonderful place for your skin care needs-- stop at hourglass. Your skin will thank you!
