Just as well as Harley at the front desk who was very kind, knowledgeable and clear on the great specials and packages they offer. Although, I was late getting to my appointment I did call ahead to let them know and Harley polietly explained that after 10 mins it would cut into my facial time which I understood and appreciated for letting me know ahead of time. This place is AMAZING. I have been coming for facials, hair removal, and skin rejuvenation. Now, I'm hooked. First off, when you come in, Brittany will usually be there to greet you with a big smile. She is so friendly, helpful, energetic, and you know she cares about each clients' specific wants and needs. She'll make sure you are taken care of ASAP and taken care of WELL. I usually have Anna for facials. I felt like a member of her family right away. She makes you feel so comfortable, checks with you before she does anything (extractions), gives great little massages throughout the treatment, and is honest with you and your skincare. I've had Amy for hair removal. This in itself is an uncomfortable experience, especially if you're going Brazilian like me! She makes it super easy, doesn't make you nervous, chats with you to keep you calm and distracted, and makes it quick and easy. It definitely gets a little easier every time! The *only* reason this place gets a second star is because Jill at the front desk is super sweet and amazing. Time #1: the super rude woman removing my tat spent the whole time judging me for getting it in the first place. Yeah, sometimes 19 year old girls get matching BFF tattoos and then regret it when they're almost 30. It happens. Time #2: walk in the door, get canceled on. To Jill's credit, she did offer me a free facial instead, but the facial was awful. Time #3: finally, a normal experience. Time #4: driving there, get canceled on. They wouldn't budge on the date for the groupon one bit. Here are my complaints now. -Prices have tripled since WiHo Laser was bought out by Dr. Laser. -Constant errors on scheduling, I show up for my appointment they don't have me booked. -Most unprofessional staff. Inappropriate gossip about other staff in front of clients. -Constantly making errors on your account. Example- I book an appointment and have to reschedule and they still market down as a session used. -Frequent turnover of all staff, especially their technicians. -I call to leave message to reschedule or cancel no one returns my calls! I loved this place when it was Wi-Ho (walk in-hair out), however, once it became Dr. Laser everything went down hill. It's impossible to make an appointment. I call and call and leave multiple voicemails and no one gets back to me. You basically get screwed when you buy a package deal because you can never use the rest of your package before it expires if you can't make an appointment. Never used to have this problem before. It's also impossible to cancel an appointment if no one picks up the phone or calls you back, so you will get hit with missed appointment fees... Also the nurses are constantly changing so there is no comfort built with you and your nurse, which is really annoying because it means you are getting a different experience every time. Some nurses are warm and welcoming and really know how to handle the machine, others are not as adept and the experience is not as pleasant. And of course, the prices went up. What was previously affordably is not super overpriced considering you're getting worse service. The only thing I like is the receptionist at this location. She is sweet and really knows what she's doing. read more

Today was the very first time we went in for a facial. My daughter is going through the hormones and the acne and we saw this great deal for a facial and thought why not. We called the number to set an appointment and just our luck someone had cancelled.. (yay us) So we went to the office in Sherman Oaks where Alessandra was as welcoming as she could be a total pleasure! Alessandra went over procedures and what to expect and how to take advantage of the deals they got going for now. We forgot the name of the lady (were so sorry) that actually did her facial but she was amazing so caring and helpful. She broke everything down and explained what steps we needed to take to get her acne under control. My doctor told me not to wear a mask and he gave me like 5 serious medical reasons outside of my own UMCs so people should research this better. I've never been so disappointed in the lack of professionalism of a company. If I could give this review zero stars, I would. I made an early morning appointment because I was having acne issues, which are rare for me, and seriously needed some help. It already seen a dermatologist and was hoping a facial would be able to speed up the recovery process. I am not a morning person. Regardless I showed up at my appointment time and no one was even there. The doors were locked and I waited outside in the rain until the café owner next-door to pity on me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Staff were unprofessional and unorganized. I have been here for almost a year now because I purchased a package with tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation, so I have encountered most of the staff. Education/ knowledge levels are overall low here. Everyone seems to have conflicting information regarding tattoo removal, after care, and time between appointments. I have a small fine detailed tattoo, less than 1" by 1", and not much has happened to it with the 9 treatments I purchased. Given I've kept my appointments consistent. The one star goes to Mouna as she is a good Esthetician that got involved with a bad business. Zero Stars goes to Dr.Laser. The management is ridiculously unprofessional and rude. This is a trickle down effect that goes from the owner or "President"all the way down to the Regional Manager(Lacey) and Location Manager (thats you, Elizabeth). I purchased a laser package and every time I come in for a treatment, there is a new nurse. New nurse means inconsistent service. My 1st two treatments were good but the 3rd treatment was shoddy. The nurse (I am not even sure if these are nurses because they have a tip jar out...shouldn't they be getting paid a decent salary. Anyway...) tried to deceive me and used different settings than my last treatment, even though I asked her to keep it the same because I had good results. Low and behold I'm still hairy two weeks later. I email Elizabeth and she has no sense of urgency and emails me back 2 days later making accusations that have nothing to do with the request/complaints in my email. They also told me I would be getting no interest financing for a year and when I reviewed my statement, it was for 6 months ago. They will say and do anything to make a sale. Watch Out! Leisurely 4 days later Elizabeth got back to me and scheduled an appointment to come in that following Monday. When I arrived, the nurse told me that she could not do the laser treatment because I had hair on my legs. I've had hair on my legs previously and they still performed the service. I don't understand! This is just more inconsistencies. By this time I am fed up and request a refund of my remaining treatments. I was assured the Regional Manager would call me that evening. No such luck! It has been a full week and I am still waiting on the call. No one has followed up on the special financing I was promised. I even provided emails as proof. I contacted the "President" (seems a bit antiquated) Joe and I have not received a response or a call. This business is an absolute FRAUD and a SCAM! Everything is great when no issues arise but watch out when (not if) they do. I guess they are just hoping that the problem would disappear but I'm just getting started. They have gotten their family and friends to write good reviews but Yelpers don't be fooled. They do not respect their clients and will take your money and run. On a better note, I have had great laser treatments at ABM Medical in Woodland Hills and Skinpeccable in Brentwood. One of them burned me , and the most annoying part is last time I was there I paid for an additional treatment and set up an appointment with the girl for 4/28, before I leave on a very long and needed vacation , usually I get an email a day before , this time I did not so I decided to call, I called my mistake to the Manhattan beach branch and the rude and I mean really rude guy that answered said I do not have an appointment , when I started to get upset that jerk decided to say relax mamm it's just laser hair removal in a very condescending tone , hey buddy just a side note , when you work in customer service cause that's what you do and you have an attitude of an ass the only good that would come of it is you getting fired which will be great for the People that get you as a representative with that attitude .
