Since declining all treatment suggestions from Dr. Gallivan, a naturopath (Dr, Emma Baker) discovered food allergies that caused the problems. END of sinus issues. The first visit lasted less than 10 minutes. He acted like he was in a hurry and blew me off. Instead of answering my questions he kept repeating the same things he said initially. I am an RN of 30 years and have never had any doctor act like this. The next visit I had with him wasn't any better. He very quickly looked in my nose with a scope to check for polyps but it was more of an "in and out" which lasted seconds, hardly long enough to actually see anything. Again, the visit lasted less than 10 minutes. When I asked why I cannot breath through my left nostril he told me to make another appointment to find out. No thanks. I truly thought something was wrong with my head but she knew to also check my neck and it was a neck injury! Great diagnosis and treatment. Loved being taken seriously (in Utah I have been blown off and misdiagnosed so many times I avoided urgent care whenever possible).
